Avantia Insurance Arvostelua 5

Home Protect is an insurance agency under another MGA called Avantia Ins Co. NOT an Insurance company, that has changed its name a few times and sub delegates to various managing agencies/ claims handlers, that have different policy limits and coverage to those given out in its online product information. They appear on many reviews to have difficulty paying legitimate claims and blame those it has delegated claims handling to, if they in turn refuse claims.
I urge anyone experiencing this to complain to the FCA and Insurance Ombudsman or even the trading standards officer as I will be doing.

Submitted a claim. Then decided to cancel it as the cost to make good damage was less than the excess. Homeprotect refused to cancel the claim. I now have a claim on my record where they have paid out zero pounds. As a result my premium has gone up from 450 pounds to nearly 1000. Also, don't touch the emergency cover....they couldn't raise a plumber to fix a leak so had to get our own. Awful. Now heading to the insurance Ombudsman to try and get the non claim canceled.

I am absolutely stunned and furious I have just requested to make a claim on my home insurance with Home protect (Avantia insurance ltd) as my roof has leaked and the water has damaged 3 rooms in my house due to the recent heavy rain and I have been fobbed off and told there was not enough rainfall per hour to make a claim........It has been raining for 2 weeks here in Huntingdon Cambridgeshire heavily on and off it is a total excuse to stop me claiming for the damage I am insured for on my policy. The Great River Ouse which is near my house has burst its banks how much rain would be enough??Buyer beware of this company and their totally ridiculous hidden clauses its disgusting I will never go with them again. I cannot afford to fix my roof and as I have insurance I was not worried and now its going to rain for at least 12 hours the damage will be extensive. If looking for home insurance on an empty property DO NOT USE.
Had a policy on direct debit cancelled if after four months and got stung with a huge cancellation fee and charges. AVOID THIS COMPANY

Fraudulent company

Hi Angela,

No one called me today, I waited 37 minutes today on the call but then my break at work ended so I had end the call again.

I have kept a diary of pictures that I made 11 calls every call above 30 minutes that’s add to well over 330 minutes of call waiting times.

I have shared my number in 7 emails and have requested that you guys might have a wrong digit in my number or it might be a reason that no one is calling me in the first place.

I have a Vodaphone contract and I get call form all over the world, if even making such a huge issue on the social media still nothing happened.

What happened to my complaint, I am going to raise this ombudsman and I need to know what is the progress with my complain. Will you still register my complaint or shall I cancel my direct debits and go to courts as that is the only option left now.

I will go to courts and will use all this communication in the courts
