The team were very helpful and looked for the best solution. In the end the repair to the controller didn't work and ended up with a new controller - on one hand happy that we tried to save the money on the other hand a little frustrated that it took quite a while.

Also forgot to ask you to do the warrant that was expiring two weeks later, which would have saved me bringing in the car again - I thought maybe you hadn't checked when it was due. but actually got an email about a week later which showed you had checked - maybe an opportunity missed to ask me if I wanted it done as it was expiring in a couple of weeks..... in the end I took it to a testing station as I could do that out of work hours.

Overall happy with service and will return for more.

Surprised to get an upgrade of acompact car ordered and paid for. This car was very easy to drive and enabled us to see more from its height. Very comfortable and economical.

The Edinburgh rental office was stuck in a corner at the Railway Station but we would never have found our way to where the car was parked except for an employee that was going that way also. But good service by Dominic although it was time consuming being his first day and the other man in the office was dealing with other customers. Heathrow depot was difficult to make yourself heard over the noise of the planes. We were supposed to be credited with 1 days hire but it never showed in our account and because we live in NZ it becomes too problematic to deal with so a disappointing end to our holiday.

Have used Auto Europe a few times now and to date have had no issues with the whole process of Renting cars through them from start to finish.

I paid for a Audi 1 or similar and received a toyota yaris when I was in Naples Airport! How is that even close?. Was so disappointing after deciding to pay the extra for a Audi. Was a big rip off. Should have just gone for the Fiat. I was a hour early and they said they would have to charge me a whole another day?? What? Was a very poor experience that cost be 4 times than it was worth. Unbelievable rip off.

Have recently rented with Hertz in Spain through Auto Europe and everything went without a hitch. Earlier communications with Auto Europe, including the booking process was extremely easy. The staff were always very quick to reply. Would recommend Auto Europe without hesitation.

The organisation was excellent. Car was easy to access from airport and an excellent vehicle . We thought it was great value for money.

Europecar very helpful, their staff were great compared with Hertz where i picked up another autoEurope car. I took out theire excess policy which seemed better than autoeuropes but cost more. Shouldn't have bothered taking out the autoEuropes one as it's not as good an could be more hassle but it is a lot cheaper. Europe car great. Hertz not so.

For the first time in my life, my parents came to visit me in Willington. I was extremely excited and wanted them to show my city. On urgent basis I grabbed a deal of New Zealand Weekend Car Hire Offer from autoeurope. It lasted for a weekend and I cannot explain my experience in words. It was simply the best. They provided me every facility on a short notice and were very nice to me. Details on the website are precise and services are flawless. Highly recommended.

The pick-up at LHR was lengthy but it moved quickly and my being a "Preferred" customer made it even quicker.
The car was in good condition, sound and reliable. It was a good all-round driving experience and we did a good number of Kilometres.
Check in at Manchester was fast and without problems.

My rental was almost the 100% deal-but not quite.An excellent car with little mileage but oh how i wish there would be some helpful instructions.There was absolutely nothing except an instruction book - in German! it was supposed to be a rental car not a contest on how long it would take to work out how everything in the car worked. I failed! Eventually I stopped at a VW dealer to find out how the rear screen windscreen wiper worked for example. Even after 30 days and 4,400km I still didn't know how to adjust the rear vision mirrors. In Austria where I did most of my travelling they have a system where there are blue lines on carparking spaces where payment is required. I wished I had found out BEFORE I got a €30 fine!!!!! Had no intention of propping up the Austrian economy. Also in the parcel tray there was a cardboard clock. Goodness knows why although goodness in the form of a parking attendant explained to me that on Short-term parking spaces where payment isn't required this clock is used. Thanks to a VW salesman, a helpful carpark attendant and some discovery work on my part the experience was almost perfect-but not quite!!!!!!!!
Auto Europe themselves fullfilled their requirements but to achieve 5 stars need to inform the rental company of what I felt was less than 100% treatment.

The gps was out of date. Maps hadnot been updated since 2011, giving us many problems. Manager put in address we were to go to, gps took us in wrong direction. We used a map to get us there. Used gps to take us to San Giminono - this is when we found out maps were not up todate. Took car back and Manager would not accept our word that gps was faulty and deducted 120 euro from credit car. Found him very rude.

I had a very different experience with car hired in London for 12 days. Management went out of their way to make sure I was happy - even drove me to railway station on my departure

We hired a small car for just under 2 weeks in France, picking up in Marseille and dropping off in Lyon. The cost as remarkably low, including full insurance. I did have to ask for some clarification of details, but the response was very prompt and clear. We had looked at dropping off the car in Switzerlaand, but the extra fee was about twice the normal rental cost (yes, really), so it is much better to drop off in the same country as you pick up.

Rented from Catania airport was a little busy but service was ok.
Extra cost for second driver that we didn't know whsn we booked.
But overall reasonable price.

Very pleasesd with service throughout although didnt get what i ordered on the Great service and help with the gps friendly and courteous service easliy use them again a great experience.

The staff totally ignored us when we arrived. The paper work took ages to complete. We were given no instructions on how to use the car before we headed off, and the car had not been properly cleaned. After driving for sometime we discovered that the air conditioning did not work which made driving difficult when it it was wet and humid. All in all not a good experience.

Excellent service.

In Scotland we ordered a Passat Wagon (or equivalent) and got a Fiat 500L
In France the car (Volvo) was good but had not been detailed very well (windows too dirty to see through)
AutoEurope website is easy to use and staff helpful

This was a great car that they upgraded us to,from a Toyota Auris to a Fiat 500L a very roomy car that we did over 2000 miles in without a problem. The one problem i had was with Europcar themselves in that they wanted to swap the car for another but we kept the car until the due date to return it but even after that they phoned us several times to try and swap it seems that one part dosen't know what the other is doing.
apat from that i would definitely use Europcar again
