Auto Europe Canada Arvostelua 

J'ai réservé au mois de mai une voiture sur auto europe qui a choisi comme loueur ALAMO.(Aéroport de Montréal Trudeau).

Je me suis assuré chez Auto europe pour une couverture complète.
C'est bien auto europe qui a encaissé
Mon argent .
Plusieurs plaintes ont été faites au retour du véhicule a alamo Montréal puis à Auto europe.
J'ai réservé un Dodge etj'ai eu à la place un Chevrolet traverse petite différence ,
L'un moteur 8 cilyndres l'autre 4 cilyndres ?
Après 1000km je me suis retrouvé avec voyant huile allumé,après assistance et leur accord un garage a remis de l'huile et j'ai payé la facture a ce jour pas de remboursement de leur part.
Sans oublier véhicule immobilisé car weekend et lundi férié journée de la reine.
Pire contrat Vierge que l'on m'a remis
Au départ du véhicule ,et sur les différents contrats ensuite indique un kilométrage écrit ,mais celui que j'ai pris en photo réellement est différents
Il s'avère qu'en un temps record,
J'aurai parcouru environ 700km en moins de 2 heures?
Le contrat disait plein ce n'était pas le cas au départ .
Et d'autres doléances .
A ce jour malgré mes mails adressés à ALAMO et Auto Europe . ALAMO n'a pas répondu.Auto Europe a répondu qu'il fallait voir avec le loueur et clôturer le dossiers..
A ce jour je vais recontacter auto europe et leurs service de médiation .
Je rappelle que l'agence a Montréal est une multinationale avec un ensemble de plusieurs loueurs Alamo ,enterprise, Hertz,etc.....
Je pense que tous les éléments énoncés me donnent le droit à un dédommagement que ces entreprises sont des arnaqueuses.

Loueur impossible a contacter. Le formulaire en ligne est compliqué a trouver. Les réponses sont longues (saisine il y a plus d’un mois et pas de reponse). Si réponse il y a. C’est à côté de la plaque et la réponse par mail est impossible !!

Ce soir nous récupérons notre location de voiture que nous avons effectué par auto Europe. Rebasculé chez Drivalia Alicante. Un SCANDALE....sur place on nous demande de payer une assurance de 374€, on nous explique que l assurance souscrite chez auto Europe ne fonctionne pas, soit on paye soit tt nous est facturé ( dépannage 280€, rayure d 1 cm 200€). Nous avions souscrit l assurance basique plus...on se demande encore pourquoi

It went smoothly, just as expected—simple and hassle-free. The insurance option is also clearly explained and provides liability coverage.

I have booked my car today for April End 2026 through their website and they got rejected my booking. I have called them and ask the reason so they said there not availibility of the car which i have booked so i had argued that your website still showing that car then what is the reason so he said thats he can see that on his side then i asked can you check again than after checked he said its available but double the price then i said my booking rejected based on price not availibility so why your system is showing not available? he did not say anything. Their website has fake price. Please double check before you book. I think its something fishy there. Very disappointing first experience.

Do not reccomend!

They accepted my Visa credit card and got to the rental company which did not accept that specific Visa. The rental company told me I should be able to get a refund. I called Auto Europe after researching every where to find a number that was up to date where I could reach them. I finaly found one. I called and told them my situation and she said I will be entitled to a refund as it my rental was not used. She gave me the email to contact as I could not find a functioning email any where else.

After explaining my situation over email, they told me that my rental of 34 days was not refundable for not providing a valid credit card, the credit card they accepted for my payment in the first place. They had a supervisor call me, but since I was at work I could not respond and they left no phone number to call back and the number they called me on was an obselete number.

I had to reach out to the rental company and talk to them so they could send me an email saying that they should give me a refund to then send that information back to Auto Europe. After 3 weeks of fighting, wasting time on email back and forth, calling and work organization due to the inconvenience, they finaly decided to give me a refund.

This was a nightmare and I would not recommend them as this was a terrible situation to be in. Not a friendly costumer service.

Had a hard time reaching out to CS RE: modification or cancellation about our reservation.

Voucher provided by auto europe failed to be accepted by Avis rental company. Could not contact company at time of pickup, voucher didn't work and had to pay for my car again. Now I need refund from them, but it is very difficult to reach the company. So results are unknown. Worst case will start dispute and request charge back from Visa if no response from them. Before never had any problem with them. Hope they will resolve the problem and issue refund.
Follow up: they didn't refund money or fixed the problem with provider for abaut 2 month. Probably AVIS delay. But 3 days ago got email from them that money will be refund in full!!!! As of today i got full refund from Auto europe!!

Worse experience in a car rental we’ve ever encountered
The customer service team did not care to help us with our issues.
To sum it up we paid for a car rental and got an entirely different lower grade vehicle than the “similar” they promised since the one we wanted wasn’t available, not only did we NOT get our car as described in the contract we were charged extra! And not for damages fuel or anything wrong just because we asked for a similar vehicle yea that’s right and we still didn’t get anything even close wow! stay away from this place they will not support you at all the customer service team does not care about customers clearly! (Janae) who took a month to get back to us did nothing they didn’t even try to accommodate or compensate us for the inconvenience,
Never going back here.

Price reasonable

So far it seems everything has gone well. I called the help line to explain something and they answered quickly and gave me the information i was asking about.

Website becoming a little less easy to navigate, but Auto Europe is generally very reliable - been using them for 30-40 years

Didn’t realize limited km.

Site was easy to manage and book my rental car in France. I hope the pick up and drop off go as well.

It went as it should-- easy and without complication. And the insurance option is well explained, and includes liability.

There's too many options, some of which seem to be duplicated and could be eliminated to make the process clearer and faster.

Agent is knowledgeable of my questions and concerns, is able to provide related information. Where information not showing on the website the agent is able to confirm for me.
