Very misleading product and hard to get refund
I thought i was signing up with chatgpt as Iwas clicking though I signed for services I did no want want as there was simply a scroll to accept totalling nearly & 120 dollars . I contacted askgpt immediately and have asked for a refund and my bank recommended to cancel my credit card - am waiting for my refund but based on comments I am not holding my breath!

There is no way to unsubscribe – very disappointing
There is no way to unsubscribe, even after following the company’s own instructions. The “Cancel subscription” button simply does not appear. I contacted support and explicitly asked them to unsubscribe me on their end, but they refused to do so.
Because I couldn’t cancel, my subscription renewed even though I haven’t used the service for a long time. Support keeps labeling this as a “change of mind” or “accidental purchase,” which is not true — this is a technical/interface issue that prevented cancellation. I even provided screenshots as proof.
I am truly disappointed by the lack of accountability and customer support. I will be reporting this matter to consumer protection authorities so others are aware.
Highly NOT recommended.

Looks like a scam
Suddenly got notice from PayPal that I had just subscribed, but I don't recall doing so. But at $79.99/yr I thought it was a good deal. But on login I was never recognized and kept getting the ad to subscribe.
I've required a refund, but I can see this may have to be disputed through PayPal.

charged me 3 times on the same subscription
It charged me 3 times on the same transaction when I subscribe and I have to lock my credit card to avoid further payment. Searching for reviews this company sounds like a scam and AVOID !!! why google still place them in 1st place and I am reporting to google too.

Venho por meio desta registrar uma reclamação e solicitar o estorno de valores referentes à contratação de um plano de 30 dias do AskGPT.
No dia 30/12/2025, realizei a aquisição de um plano mensal acreditando que o valor seria cobrado em reais (BRL). Somente após a conclusão da compra percebi que a cobrança foi realizada em dólar (USD). Além disso, constatei que houve uma cobrança em duplicidade no meu cartão de crédito.
Ao identificar o problema, realizei o cancelamento no mesmo dia (30/12/2025). No entanto, até o momento, não houve o estorno dos valores cobrados no meu cartão.
Diante disso, solicito:
O estorno integral de todas as cobranças realizadas nessa data (incluindo a duplicidade);
A confirmação por escrito do cancelamento do plano e de que não haverá novas cobranças;
Se possível, o envio de um comprovante do estorno ou protocolo da operadora de cartão.

This site is a SCAM
This site is a SCAM. As soon as I realized this was not officially Chat GPT, I requested a refund as per their refund policy. I went into my account and clicked cancel not even 30 minutes after I paid for the service. I also sent them an email. I received an automated response telling me that, my service would be canceled after my subscription ended in one year. There is no way to contact a human on the website and you are not able to respond to the automated Email. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge but who knows what will happen. I have read that other customers have continued to be charged even after they have canceled their subscriptions so I have canceled my credit card and ordered a new one. I suggest everyone who subscribes to this service do the same!

This is essentially scam. I thought I was signing up to the official ChatGPT paid service. When I realised this wasn't that, they refused to refund me. Now a year later they have billed me again. I asked for a refund. Again the refused. They say there will be no further charges but who knows?
