Ask Council: a second opinion before you act
Ask Council is our own feature, and it is the reason most of our users stay. You ask one question, several leading AI models answer it at the same time, and you see their answers brought together into one clear response, with the places where they agree and the places where they disagree marked out. Where they all agree, you can act on it. Where they split, the call is yours.
We are deliberately modest about what this is. It is a second opinion, not an authority: AI can be wrong, and anything that matters is worth checking. That is exactly why seeing several models next to each other is more useful than trusting one.
AskGPT Academy: ten minutes a day, on your own work

You can cancel anytime in your account settings, our refund policy is published in full, and the charge appears under the AskGPT name. If anything about your account or a payment looks wrong, write to support@askgpt.app and we will sort it out.

I thought I was signing up for free but immediately got a charge on my card for £19.99 and also two charges of £14.99. Each a month later I got two charges of £14.99 each
It is complicated to cancel, but I managed to do this but they make it impossible to claim a refund so that the best I have done is blocked them on my card

I tested this tool with text I wrote 100% by hand, and it consistently flagged it as 89% AI-generated. I’ve tried several times with the same result. If the primary purpose of this service is to distinguish between human and AI writing, it is failing at its only job. Don't waste your money.

Disreputable, Dishonorable, Reprehensible
Purchased the product but it was unable to do what I wanted, even thought it clearly looked like it could. With almost any other reputable product/service they offer a 1 4 cooling off period, but not Askgpt. Absolutely refused to give me a refund. Disreputable, dishonorable and reprehensible behaviour. Please, absolutely avoid this company. Wish I'd checked Trust Pilot first. There's obviously a reason why almost 40% of people give them a one star review.
Just a quick update as the people at AskGPT frequently reply with "Hi, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration. This is not the level of service we aim to provide. We’ve requested additional information via Trustpilot so we can identify your account and investigate this matter properly. Please also contact us at blah, blah, blah, and our team will review your case and work to resolve it". This is some stock response to try to show that they actually care. Nothing could be further from the truth as I have heard absolutely nothing from this company since.

I thought I was on Perplexity's website based on their phrasing. I purchased a year subscription to Perplexity. They did not give me the subscription to use on their platform nor natively, and their UI didn't function. Just said "unavailable". So no value. I asked for a refund and they said they don't do refunds even if it was a mistake or misrepresented. Later I looked at other reviews and there are reports of extra charges - I can cancelled my card and deleted my account without a refund.
