The wifi is genuinely awful. It throttles itself all the time to the point its nearly [and sometimes is] unusable. It doesn't matter if its in an area where other carriers have good wifi. Armstrong will ALWAYS be very laggy no matter what.
Consistent issues with wifi randomly cutting out. Sometimes for seconds, sometimes for hours. If you check the app during this time it says everything is operating as intended and gives zero option for customer support besides browsing forums. I thought spectrum was bad, then I switched to Armstrong. Isps are continuously lowering the bar. Do not get Armstrong if you have any other isps in your area to choose from.
My old cable box went bad so now when they replaced it they only have the Tevo force one streaming device..To start its made for streaming..I'm a older man that doesn't like streaming for something to watch. I just want to watch TV. But now this is the only thing they offer..Been trouble from the day they put it in..Every two hours you have to let it know your still watching of it turns on the screen saver..After calling the company that makes the Tevo box, they tell me that can be changed to ten hours before the screen saver comes no .Now you have to Buy time for recording shows.It record's but a in two months I have about ten shows that it recorded that will not let you watch . But you still pay for it..They don't know what is wrong yet and say they are working on it..Point is that they are putting these in homes knowing there is all kinds of problems that needs fixed..The TV guide doesn't work right and they say their still working to correct the problem..But you still pay more for it!!
They are working on changing everyone's cable box to the Tevo over the next couple years..And you have no choice..
Terrible monopoly company. They know it and don't care. Speed, price, and quality all bad. Brightspeed fiber is the area now, so Armstrong days of ripping people off are over.
Called to cancel my account and customer service rep transferred my call and the next person hung up on me.
Their customer service is demented.I called to inquire about service and the guy put me on.Hold for fifteen minutes then came back on the line and started pressing buttons in my ear
