I think this is very hard thing to do…

I think this is very hard thing to do if you are a pensioner with no family close enough to help you, the questions where very complicated I had a bit of basic Computer knowledge but my wife would have never been able to do it on her own

The ease of filling out the fields in the questions

The ease of filling out the fields in the questions. There’s just one small issue if you’re not from the UK: the banks listed for selection are only from the UK, so you can’t enter your account number. That might make you worry a little that you’ve made a mistake.
Short, concise questions that are easy to answer.

It's useful to automatically link accounts in this way. But the form structure is too rigid and inflexible to all different financial situations in my view.

Glad the account linking worked well for you. The form structure is largely shaped by what the conveyancer requests and the Anti-Money Laundering checks they're required to carry out, which can make it feel rigid when your financial situation doesn't fit neatly into the standard flow. That's useful feedback, and it's something we're continually working to improve where we can within those regulatory constraints.
