Sorry this felt disproportionate, we understand a small gift can make the process feel like overkill. The reality is that conveyancers are required under the Government’s Anti-Money Laundering rules to verify the source of funds regardless of the amount involved, so the same checks apply whether it’s a large sum or a small gift.

On the access point, Armalytix doesn’t take full, ongoing access to your bank account. It’s a one-time, read-only pull of transaction data via Open Banking, shared only with the party you’ve approved, and nothing is shared without your permission, which is far more secure than the traditional alternative of emailing bank statements. If you wish, your data can be deleted on request by emailing us at support@armalytix.com.

Sorry to hear your ID check came back as failed, that’s understandably frustrating. There are various reasons this may happen, it’s worth checking with your solicitor to see if they think retrying the check could fix the issue.

Sorry to hear this, having the form reset back to the start repeatedly is genuinely frustrating and definitely not what normally happens, so it’s worth us looking into what caused it in your case, it’s likely it was caused by a browser or connection issue but worth us double checking.

Help function takes you to answers not…

Help function takes you to answers not related to the section of the form I had a problem with.
There then seems no way of typing in a question to get on line help or even talk to a robot so not a good experience..
