I bought a jacket at the advertised price of £38.00. They took £46.00. The jacket took two weeks to arrive and was very poor quality. The sleeves were too short. I measured the sleeves and compared it to their sizing chart. They were 1.7" short. Therefore, not as described. I e mailed the company for a refund and return address and 5 days later, after numerous e mails, I'm still waiting for both. So I've now opened a case with paypal to get my refund. They give the impression that they are UK based and hassle free returns, they're not. Avoid this company!!!!!

I ordered a pair of boots which were not wide enough . I was advised that I could receive a percentage of a refund or order something else . I decided to order a ladies slip in moccasin . The quality of this shoe was so sub standard I asked for my money back . The goods are not as they look on the website and I wouldn’t buy anything thing else from this company

DO NOT BUY!!! 🚫 Just purchased a jacket that took two weeks to receive. Took it out of the packaging inspected the item and was shocked by the quality and not to mention, made in china with the cheapest materials. I repackaged and sent it back straight away (return to sender) after having searched on the website and through the return policy and not finding anything.
After back and forth with emails to them, they offered a 30% refund and said I should've requested the return address although consumer rights states otherwise. The jacket cost £46 minus the 30% puts a considerable amount of profit in thier pocket. Don't buy from this company because I can assure you, you won't be happy.

To all, is the return address for Arkes "London" PayPal will not accept a return address clearly stated on the parcel when you receive it. If you want unbranded products from china that is nothing like on the website, be sure to shop here. Clearly a scam.

I ordered a jacket in large size however the arms are too short (im 6ft 2) and the zip was a faulty. The company offered a replacement with me paying £15.99 delivery. They also offered 30 and 50% refunds. Eventually they have provided me with 100% refund as per their policy. They have allowed me to keep the jacket which I will donate to charity.

Sadly i missed too many red flags!!

Professional looking pictures of their stock and what looked like an efficient business.
What i missed was, no phone number, no UK address, no owners names.
Ordered it and was told 5 days to arrive via Yodel. confirmed on 15/1 email from Arkes and then silence.

Yodel sent email saying the item was received my item on 16/1 and to deliver by 23/1. Nothing happened . I call Yodel who said they had not received it but i have no faith in Yodel either but then got an update on 26/1 from Yodel saying it would arruve 27/1. Meantime i sent emails to Arkes London but guess what no replies.

The item arrived in a very small plastic bag containing my cardigan that was in a flimsy plastic wrapper that had already been opened by someone else .
The item itself was awful. I ordered XL after using Aekes fitting guide. It was so small, had no brand label , had no care guide and bear in mind they said it was a £66.00 item discounted to 32.00 you would expect a decent item in decent packaging.
What i got was a cheap arylic type material cardigan, it was too short and did not even reach my waist band the 3 button holes just after one" try on" looked about to split as the holes had not been finished .

It looked nothing like the web site picture at all.
Looked at IG again and guess what i found 2 other pages using exactly the same pictures .
Mcmullen 4700 with web site James & Mable very professional but just a copy of Arkes and with 3742 4.5 star reviews. . That page already has very bad comments from buyers. There was another IG page as well but it has been taken down already.
I have now emailed Arkes London 4 times but no acknowledgement or replies.
I have been an idiot i guess missing the obvious red flags .
Despite its 30 day return guarantee I have to email the company to complain or return and if the company agrees they then send an address to return it to but at my expense. They the decide is the return is accepted and if so they retain 30 % restock fee!!!
that means say a £5 recorded postage and if they then agree they take £9.2 charge.

it then says customers cannot return items in a sale??? Every item they sell is on sale so how can they be legal!!

I have no idea if there selling process kis actually legal in the UK when selling to customers on line and paying by a debit or credit card. I will try a charge back from my Bank but suspect the card acquirer will refuse.

All in all my mistake
Having given the company the opportunity to contact me i have heard nothing and the mirror pages of other businesses using same pictures just seen on IG leads me to believe that i have been scammed.
BUYER BE VERY AWARE AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK

Total scam, Mason Knit Cardigans were not knitted, wrong sizes and nothing like the pictures on their website. They then insist first class recorded delivery to return goods at your cost and 30% restocking fees.
After numerous emails they reluctantly gave refund , deducting restocking fees which is illegal.
Do not waste your money.

Delivery times wasn't great but they are changing who they use.

Jacket arrived. was too small despite me using the size guide. The material was not 'vintage cotton' and the detailing was different from the advert photos.
The email address bounces back and there is no contact phone number.

I ordered a cardigan as a Christmas present a few days before the festive season and it still hasnt arrived. I write to Arkes every few days and get the response that Yodel, the delivery company are very busy and it will be with me in 2-3 days. Ironically I ordered something from a different supplier yesterday, January 12th, and it was delivered this morning by Yodel! So I'm begining to think Ive been scammed!!

Had a couple on issues with my online order but was all sorted in a prompt,excellent many & the timescale of the action & response was top draw

My parcel arrived damages on the outer package and the item inside was damaged as a result.
I contacted customer service and had an excellent experience. Full refund and a sincere apology. Quick and with the personal touch .

shocking company ordered a sweater from there web site unknown to me the image on the web was Ai generated . The garment did not fit due to the wrong sizing and the item was made of polyester not knitted as described when buying shocking they offered a 30 % return due to re stocking or they would send 1 off better quality , DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BRAND . Not a good site the worst i have dealt with in my life.

Waited a while for my boots to arrive ( it was Christmas time ) ! When they arrived they were the wrong size . But answered my query very quickly and sent me out the correct size straight away. Very happy with the leather and quality of the boots. Great price
