What is AQ Online?

The ultimate spot for haircare and beauty products online. Shop with ease and convenience for your straight, wavy, curly, coily and kinky hair.  Don’t let us convince you! Come and see for yourself.

About AQ Online

AQ online stands for Afro Quarter Online. We are a black-owned company based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. We always had a deep passion for textured kinky hair and a drive to try a range of different products.

After numerous unpleasant experiences both in-store and online. We decided to make a change and create a space for people of colour.

This change was particularly important to us because we wanted to see more people who looked like us sell our products with the right information and knowledge and expertise.

That is why AQ Online was built on the quote "Be the change you want to see"

Our aim

We aim to contribute positively to our community by being a leading black-owned retailer. The black lives matter movement is at the core of what we do and we aim to provide transparency and safe products at your doorstep.

Packaging issues

The pump action cap for the cleanser was open and some of the solution had leaked out so much so that I wondered if I’d been sold a used bottle. I think the box the two bottles were packed in was to small hence the spillage. I would order this again however if the same occurred I would be reluctant to do so in future.

Hi Claudine,

Thank you so much for leaving us the feedback regarding the packaging.

We will review this very closely and aim to improve for the future by placing them in a larger box with additional padding.

We do hope to see you again despite this🙏🏾

Thanks,

Victoria

Great Customer Service

My family are quite active so they can be hard to catch but when I ordered some products for my baby sister, AQ went above and beyond to ensure she got them, even after missing her twice. I appreciate them reaching out personally to be advise and my sister was overjoyed with her belated gift
