My journey with Apera! Wow is all I can say! From my coordinator, dietician, nurses, translator's, surgeon team, Doctors, hotel staff and the lovely porter. I am amazed this was like 7 star place! The hospital is out of this world, rooms beautiful then our hotel was amazing rooms were beautiful.

The way you are treated is outstanding, I can't fault anything so far in my journey and so glad I chose Apera for my surgery. The care you are giving from this amazing team is incredible.

They are so on top of everything, very thorough with all pre op tests, asking any questions is never any hassle. I would highly recommend using apera and to leave it here!

Forever YOUNG!!!

Samantha was my first contact with Apera. She guided me all the way and solved all my questions, even out of hours.
The coordinators at hospital are always there for you too.
As a nurse I can say the nurses were great.
Very grateful to had such an amazing people around.

I have taken my time to write this as I hate reviewing experiences straight away, especially when reviews play such a large part in people’s decisions. I am 4 weeks post op.

Organising the surgery was easy enough, if not too easy. I was assigned yelena as my contact, I wasn’t given any information about my surgeon, just the price and information of what was included. As I had a friend who used them I went ahead regardless.

The vip transfer from the airport was gorgeous, it was very comfortable, air con, and definitely VIP although we were left waiting nearly 3 hours for 2 other people who were coming with us which after a long flight and long day of travel was quite frustrating

The Kailyn hotel is lovely, the rooms are nice but it the air con wasn’t working well so we were boiling. Be wary of the room service prices, they are incredibly over priced - €40 for steak?! - whereas you can go to a local restaurant and spend much less in lira, my partner went round the corner to a restaurant and spent £15 on 3 courses. The beds are comfy and the suites are pretty although we weren’t there long enough to appreciate them well. You get told your time for pick up late in the evening so it’s hard to know what time to go to bed. Luckily we were due to be collected at 10:15

The transfer was late to colllect us, we ended up not leaving till gone 11:30 which was frustrating as we could have slept in a bit more. The drive to the clinic is around 45 minutes.

The clinic was pretty, but they do bombard you with paperwork and information about the risks which was good and informative. The staff barely interact with you. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was that the paperwork you sign says you agree to social media posting of you, there’s no opt out portion to this. I crossed it out and wrote no photos or videos as I didn’t want to be plastered over their instagram until I knew what my experience was like. We had the “discount tree” which I guess was alright but was a bit disappointing when half of us got 2% off but others had 10%. Would have rathered a set amount off.

Onto the hospital, the hospital was clean, the front looks like a boujee shopping centre almost. It was very pretty. Unfortunately the rooms didn’t look anything like the advertised rooms, it seems they advertise floor 7 which is much more modern and fresh. Despite this, the rooms are spacious, clean and had storage for bags etc. there was a TV but unfortunately couldn’t use it as no access to English subtitles.

The nurses were incredibly heavy handed and really have given me ptsd from their blood taking activity. I was in agony.

The surgeon was very kind although quite nosey, he was very kind in explaining what he was going to do and how I was safe etc, he explained my results to me. How I would be safe and healthy and how I would be given a relaxer to help me calm down before the surgery as I was very scared. I was first to go down which did help.

Coming round from surgery, I woke up in recovery and was struggling to breathe due to my asthma, I was begging them to take me back to my room for my inhaler but I was laughed at before they took me back.

Pre warning, they take you back to the room with your stomach in a bag at the end of the bed regardless of whether you ask them not to.

The day after operation is thexworst, the gas pains and fatigue really do make you feel like you have been hit by a bus.

The translator is hardly around, and only available for a few hours per day.

Overall the surgical experience was ok, but I did struggle with how heavy handed the nurses are, they can’t speak any English so at night it is hard to communicate with them. WiFi is bad so google translate was temperamental. I am happy I had the surgery done, the hospital was nice but I don’t rate the aftercare.

The nutritionist is very pushy, she will try sell you extra products which are “important” but if they were that important they would be included in the bag of items they send you home with. She’s very pushy and tries to make you feel bad if you don’t buy things. I told her I had no money left because £45 for some collagen is extortionate.

I haven’t heard from anyone since coming home so have been doing it on my own. As I say, the surgery went amazingly well, my incisions are neat and tidy and I am glad I got it done. 4 weeks post op and I am 28lbs down. I just think the care from the nurses and aftercare need improvement.

From the beginning to the end I was treated very well. A team of doctors and nurses were at my disposal 24/24. I had no problems. Very friendly and amiable staff. Always smiling. Thank you Apera team

Totul este așa cum trebuie și nimic care să te facă să te simți rău.

Doctori,asistente și translatori de nota 1000.Ofera tot sprijinul de care ai nevoie din prima pana în ultima zi.Din prima clipa când i am întâlnit m am simțit foarte confortabil și sprijinita pe tot parcursul meu,am simțit ca ii cunosc de o viață,foarte comunicativi și prietenoși.

Really good experience enjoy

I had my gastric sleeve surgery on 30th May with Apera. I was a little nervous as went on my own but I was well looked after by the whole team and can’t fault them. From start to finish it was a really good experience and can’t thank them enough. The language barrier was a little difficult but there was always someone on hand to come in and help. The only things I would suggest is that the products should be a little cheaper and the hotel was a little closer, as when leaving after the surgery to go back to the hotel the road was a little bumpy. Thank you all again!

Sincer,am pornit la drum cu inima cât un purice...crede-am ca fiind o tara străină o vor face doar pentru bani și atâta.
Odată ajunsa în Turcia șoferul ne aștepta la ieșirea din aeroport,ne-a întâmpinat ca și cum am fi ,,vedete,,😅,ne-a dus la hotel ( de lux nota 10 intr-o masina foare curata ,frumoasa exact ca in poze )după care la sediul clinici Apera unde am achitat și doamna nutriționist a făcut măsurătorile. Următoarea oprire a fost la clinică unde ne-au întâmpinat 3doamne minunate ( traducătoare ) și ne-au explicat tot procesul,când mi sau recoltat analize o doamna translator era în permanenta alături de mine (respect doamnelor ).
Operația a durat o ora și 10minute ( cu toate pregătirile.
Domnul doctor a venit sa ne vadă pe fiecare pacient în parte ,un domn profesionalist ,prin cuvintele lui mi-am dat seama ca sunt pe, mâini sigure și ca este expert în ceia ce face .O face cu inima deschisă și sufletul aproape de tine ( nu doar pentru bani ). Salonul unde am stat 3zile a fost egenizat zilnic si lenjeria la aparținătorul meu. Directorul spitalului ne-a vizitat oficial pe fiecare în parte și ne-a mulțumit ca am ales clinică Apera. Toți din Staff, infirmierele,asistentele au fost atenți la nevoile pacienților.
La plecarea din spital domnul director și traducătoare ne-au condus pana la mașina luxoasă ce ne aștepta jos. După masa coordonatoarea ne-a dus în bazar ( nu e obligatoriu ) după o plimbare lunga de 4 ore ( căci operația nu doare ,îți permite să te plimbi) ne-am întors la mașină și de acolo la hotel ...
Sincer recomand această clinică, este una bine organizata ,Staff-ul implicat ,medic bun,asistente bune,infirmiere cu compasiune ,traducatoarele sunt trup și suflet alături de pacient .Nu regret nici o clipa ca am ales Turcia pentru a ma ⁿopera și în mod special clinică Apera .Ma bucur oameni frumoși ca am avut o ,,colaborare ,, cu clinică dumneavoastră.

The care i received from start to finish was amazing! I couldn’t have asked for better care

The organisation of my health treatment at apera health groups was more than excellent. Beside the 5 star Transport from to Airport, Hotel Suite and Hospital room with View to Marmaris sea, there we're translators, care stuff, doctors with high engagement, explanation to the issue.
I received a gastric sleeve. Everything went
very well. I felt good. The connection to the
diet nurses and doctor after operation was
very professional and Kind. The operation was a success. I feel very good. I am Canadian, living in Germany and flew to Istanbul, Turkey. Right decision! Always again. My great thank to the whole team.
