I have recently purchased a silka door and had it installed by a company locally, to say I'm delighted is an understatement, thanks to Adam in Apeer for pointing me in the right direction and advice on the thermal efficiency of the door, because it was a new build it really impressed during the building control inspection.

Fantastic door installed in Portrush 11 years ago - and still fantastic. A brilliant company with excellent backup at all times. Adam at Apeer in Ballymena is an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Just had an Apeer 70 door fitted by R & A Windows in Sandhurst Berkshire and have to say we are delighted with it. Feels substantial and is well made with excellent security features. Only small issue for me to sort with the supplier is that I am pretty certain I ordered an internal thumbturn which I don't have, but overall very pleased with the door and fitting.

Great quality doors with excellent aftercare service. Nothing too much trouble. Adam in particular was very helpful. Happy to recommend.

If I could give less than one star I would, I have had 3 door slabs from this company in 11 years, the 1st faded after 5 years ( allegedly guaranteed to be colourfast for 10 ) after disputing that I had cleaned the door with something other than warm soapy water ( which I hadn’t ) they replaced the door, the 2nd door slab was never installed due to a large crack the length of the door noted on delivery , the 3rd door slab has now faded after 6 years, both doors also have a crack in the composite beneath the letterbox, I have been dealing with the retailer that I purchased the door from who have thankfully been a lot more helpful than Apeer whose customer service matches the standard and quality of their doors.
Don’t waste money buying an Apeer door!

What initially sold me on Apeer was the fact that each part of the order was customisable and they are locally based. Getting to visit their place and speak to staff helped reassure I was making the right choice for my home. Caitlyn was great help with providing options and showing me what would work best, even seeing it on their website when building the door and frame was amazing. Any time I needed a question answered it was quick either from Caitlyn herself or Adam (I believe) and Karina. Patiently waiting on a Mandalore door for the front of my house :D

My back door is from Apeer, very high quality! Has really improved what was a very cold hall and now is very well insulated and never had any trouble. Beautiful door and great service

We recently moved, and after having an Apeer door on my previous house for over 10 years, one of the first things we did was get the front door replaced!
Can't recommend them enough!

The door has faded, it took them 6 months to come and try fix it, the spray repair lasted about 3 months now its fading again, now theyre saying its my fault that it shouldnt be in direct sunlight?!?! madness i'd never buy another apeer door, terrible aftersales for such an expensive item

No way to open from the outside except with the key, so you can easily lock yourself out.

Thank you apeer doors. My door lock has broken after 14 years, well outside the 10 year guarantee period and to be clear I’m not sure how it broke but these things happen and it’s not reflective of apeer. My door is still in excellent condition no warping no colour fading and I have been extremely proud of it over the years, getting the locks checked, not using wd40 and replacing the knocker and letterbox to keep it pristine. The lock issue has been very distressing however apeer have sent 2 locks at no charge to try to assist and will try to send someone to take a look to see if they can fix it for which I’m more than happy to pay as I do understand I’m outside the 10 years.

The door has warped and cracked . It is 13 years old . This cracking began 2 years ago when the door was 11 years old, one year out of warranty. Not good enough for such an expensive door ….. A timber door lasts far longer and much cheaper…. It was installed Installed by Joe Roche doors Dungarvan

Had a door recently fitted and astounded by the instant difference it made regarding the heat efficiency. Received a lot of comments from neighbours on how nice the door was with the glass and matching side panels. Lots of colour choices on offer I opted for anthracite grey on the outside with white on the inside which has totally transformed both exterior and interior of my house

The first new door was fitted but there was a small gap between frame and door so a little daylight could be seen and it was extremely draughty! Apeer replaced the door with another which fits perfectly. I was going through fitter at first but then was in contact directly with Apeer. It took some months for the replacement door to be fitted but it is a very nice quality door and the company were fine to deal with.

Nice looking sturdy door at 70mm thick, good fitting service by Wilson Windows of Loughborough fitting team, great security features.

Early days but looks like it should last a long time and due to its energy efficiency, it may save us some money on heating costs too.

Expensive door but you usually get what you pay for.

We are very impressed with our new door great quality product, feels solid door and very secure great look.
The fitter from signature windows was superb and very careful, in all l would highly recommend this door.
