Door was fitted - looked amazing. Then it rained and water leaked in under the glazing. Fitters came back and smeared mastic around the glass and beading - it now looks a cheap mess. Supposed to be airtight, not even watertight. The mastic will deteriorate and the door will leak again. The gasket/seal around the glass is clearly defective. Still waiting for satisfactory resolution.

What ever you do…. Don’t buy an Apeer door!!!

My door was faulty after only three months, and even once they had admitted liability I’m still without a replacement door. It’s shocking how a company could produce faulty goods then ignore their legal requirement.

Just save yourself the hassle and go with a different manufacturer.

We ordered a traditional door from Apeer, complete with 2 sidelights. We couldn't be happier with them! Coming into winter, the effect of the triple glazing is significantly noticeable over our old PVC door, especially as the temperatures start to drop.

Delighted with our composite door, stylish and admired by many best thing we have ever bought changed the whole look of the front of the house, would definitely recommend Apeer doors

Our apeer composite door was fitted 20mths ago. I contacted them months and months ago as there is a gap when the door closes and loads of cold air gets in. The door is bowed. The people who fitted it said apeer would be out to assess it. I have called a few times and still no one has come to look at it! Extremely poor service especially when the door cost thousands of pounds. I wouldn’t get away with it in my own job. Very disappointing

We got a new black Apeer door fitted in August 2023. Process was very smooth, Brian came out and measured, and then came back in August to fit it - very neat and tidy workmanship. We just love the door! Makes our house look so modern compared to the previous PVC door which we had. Well fitted door that keeps heat in and allows a lot more light in to our hall with the beautifully designed glass panels at either side of the door. Would not hesitate in recommending Apeer to anyone! 5 stars

Had an Apeer composite Door fitted in 2021 and I have to say it’s top top quality and expertly fitted by Pavo the window doctor. This year I had some issues with the lock on the door and I sent an email to Alan at customer service on Friday who was very understanding and helpful 4 days later the issue was fixed. I have to say that their after sales customer service is absolutely excellent would 100% recommend Apeer composite doors to anyone considering a new door.

Got a new stable door from Apeer 2 years ago which is leaking with the last 18 months. Customer service is absolutely brutal, cant get an answer from anyone. The sales rep wont answer the phone or messages. Ive been promised an engineer would be out to fix it, it never happened. So im still left with a leaking door and no answers. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Draught coming from the bottom of the door around the threshold area with the installer dragging his feet and Apeer washing its hands of responsibility despite all the claims this door is draught free.

I loved the glass design on my front door from this company from 15 years ago so much that, when we were going to build an extension starting last year & not quite finished yet, I asked if they could make a bespoke glass design based on the old one for us. The fabulous team couldn’t have been more helpful & did an amazing job. I really like the sound the door makes when it closes - it's solid and gives you the sense of security and protection from the weather outside. Any of my friends who have seen the door think it looks amazing - I LOVE my new Silka door!

Just had my old pvc front door and sidelight replaced with an Apeer Aluminium frame and composite door. Huge difference to heat retention and noise reduction, also much more secure, as well as a vastly improved kerb appeal!! Top notch install and workmanship throughout, and very helpful right from the start of the process with the various options which were available.

I just had my brand new Silka installed.
i can’t believe the difference it has made to the look of the house.
no draughts for christmas & unbelievable reduction in traffic noise.
i will be in contact soon for a stable door.

Customer service is a joke. I ended up with a door with defective paint. Even though the company have acknowledged it was their fault the issue hasn't been satisfactorily sorted. I have wasted considerable time chasing them on the phone this past 18 months and am constantly fed false promises. On numerous occasions prearranged site visits have been cancelled at short notice. I have got to the point where I do not believe a word they tell me!

Dealing with Lucie makes everything simple and hassle free. She is informative, reliable and knowledgeable. Doors are amazing quality and stylish

Great service and excellent quality of composite door. Love that they are foam filled so will not have an issue with bowing like the timber core composite doors, beautiful style of doors. Their Lumi collection of windows and doors looks amazing too. Highly recommend their products.

Slightly slow with receiving quotes back, however a good quality product once the doors have been fitted.
