We were charged when we should not after I saw the ship doctor otherwise the painstaking process would have been avoided. Nevertheless we still got our money back after sometime and completing the required paperwork.

From start to finish the claim process was very simple, easy an quick. While I was very disappointed I was unable to go on my very first cruise with my family, I am very pleased I was able to get a refund so quickly.

Their instructions were clear. Uploading documents was easy. Their review, approval, and payment were fast.

We had to cancelled our cruise due to an emergency in our family. We are glad that we decided to take the insurance, we received the reimburse without issues.

My travel claim was paid in full.

I purchased an Aon Affinity Insurance Services policy on a hotel stay I booked through Expedia. My mom and I were staying in a hotel so we were close to my mom's sister who was dying. Unfortunately she passed before we made it to say goodbye and we needed to cancel the hotel stay. I submitted the claim, listing the reason as a "death in the family". I was told that I needed to submit a death certificate in order to process the claim. We filled out the forms, paid the fees and finally received a death certificate in the mail. I then submitted the certificate to Aon Affinity Insurance Services. They replied back that they needed Cause of Death listed on the certificate. I asked why they would need that information and their response was "your policy has stipulations to as what types of death are covered, like pre-existing conditions or death involving felonies....."

My aunt died of cancer, that she fought for 2 years. That's definitely pre-existing. So basically they will only cover "death" as an excuse if it's an accident of some type.

All of this run-around for a $500 hotel stay. I will never purchase Aon Affinity Insurance Services again.

10 days before our anticipated cruise, we had a medical emergency. With all we were dealing with, we also had to cancel our travel arrangements. I had to call a couple of times and your employee was clear and so helpful in answering my questions. The process to file a claim was easy and we received our refund quickly!

After the claim was processed it took very little time to receive our refund.

I got sick the first night on the ship. My throat almost swelled shut on the second day. Swallowing was like swallowing glass. My throat was so swollen, I lost my ability to talk. I went to the medical services on Carnival Vista and was given a steroid through an IV. Within minutes, my throat had lost most of the swelling. It still hurt to swallow, but I regained the ability to speak. The doctor then put me on antibiotics for the remainder of the cruise. By the fifth day, I was still sore but swallowing food and drink was now easier. The cost for the treatment was $1034.27. I filed the claim after a couple of days of returning home and it was settled within 10 days of filing. 100 % of the amount was returned to me by AON. I am 100 % satisfied with this company.

Great customer service by the Aon Staff. They were able to handle my claim based on submitted medical documentation, and my claim was handled in. Timely manner.

I purchased Disney travel insurance through Aon Affinity/Arch Insurance for an October 2024 trip. A mandatory hurricane evacuation forced us to leave two days early, resulting in $690 in non-refundable hotel costs.

After a lengthy claims process, Aon closed my first claim even though I had provided receipts and a letter from the rental company confirming the loss. I had to start the entire process again with a new claim number.

What’s worse is that Aon gave me one reason for denial (saying my accommodations weren’t booked directly with Disney, which is not excluded in the policy) but told the NC Department of Insurance a different reason (claiming I had already been fully reimbursed, which is not true).

This company has wasted my time with repeated document requests, shifting explanations, and misleading regulators. Based on my experience, they do not handle claims in good faith and I would strongly caution others against purchasing travel insurance from Aon Affinity.
