Honest Review
This is an honest review! I booked a white limo for my daughter’s 10th birthday. It was a total surprise for her and her 5 friends, they had no idea and this was the main large event for her birthday. The limo arrived on time, it was absolute pristine inside and out! Drinks were provided for the kids and we were able to play our own music through the surround sound system! Roy our driver was absolutely bloody lovely, a totally gentleman who endured an hour of a lot of Katseye and kids singing and laughing, the drive was smooth and safe! Thankyou so much Roy for being so kind, such a gent! My daughter was absolutely buzzing and this made her birthday I am eternally grateful. However I must be honest I was very very anxious leading up to the day. I initially made an online request which followed with a WhatsApp discussion and I paid my deposit. After that I had tried to call email and text several times with little to no response, however when my husband called…similar times to myself…he always got an answer. My concern was they were answering an unknown number but not mine which is the number that booked for them. I did however get an email confirmation the week before, I did then text the number given to which a lady replied within the hour. I then also text the morning of and she did reply. I can see others have had similar experience with communication and I’d say that definitely needs improving, I would have been less anxious had my phone calls been answered or emails replied straight away or with in reason. Overall super happy with the outcome as stated on time, clean beautiful limo and a delightful driver!! Thankyou again! A memory my daughter will never forget!

No communication no emails or phone calls back despite being promised. Every single member of staff is as bad as the other despite saying they will pass it on. They have no intention to contact you. We attended a hen party last Friday…
We attended a hen party last Friday 17th July , Birmingham to Bristol , after dropping off the girls within 2 hours the organisers had a text not a call but text to say a table was broken and unless they paid £295 into the account they sent details for , there would be no collection. We obviously tried to say it was not us & how could they have realised when they would have been still driving back to Birmingham. After several messages during the night from Sean it became apparent they were totally untrustworthy, it was a scam , shame on you company, Needless to say we used a different company to travel home . They cannot be trusted , they never rang back in the morning . They had planned this .

The booking was for a minibus travelling from Birmingham to Bristol on Friday 17th July, with the return journey scheduled for Sunday. During the outbound journey, a member of the party caused damage to the vehicle, and we have evidence relating to the damage that occurred.
We contacted the person who made the booking to make them aware of the situation. The supplier was understandably concerned about providing the return journey without the damage being addressed, and we therefore advised that the cost of the damage would need to be resolved before the return journey could go ahead.
Unfortunately, rather than working with us to resolve the matter, we were accused of lying and being untrustworthy. We completely understand that being informed of damage to a vehicle is frustrating, particularly when it wasn't the organiser personally who caused it. However, we cannot simply ignore damage caused to a supplier's vehicle, and we have a responsibility to our supplier partners as well.
We would also like to make it clear that there was no scam or deliberate attempt to prevent the return journey. Had the damage been resolved, the return journey would have been honoured as planned.
We are disappointed that the situation resulted in the customer making alternative arrangements for their return, but we stand by the actions taken based on the evidence we have available.
We are always happy to discuss genuine concerns with our customers, but we also feel it is important to respond when a review contains allegations that do not accurately represent the circumstances of the booking.
I booked a limousine through Anything…
I booked a limousine through Anything for Hire for a group of Year 6 children attending their prom. I chose to book through a broker for peace of mind and was told we were getting one of their “top-of-the-range” limousines. Although it was a last-minute booking due to a cancellation, we still paid £375.
Unfortunately, the vehicle that arrived was nothing like we had expected. It appeared dirty and poorly presented, with visible rust, a rear bumper that looked loose, and an interior that did not feel special for such an important occasion. Compared to the other prom limousines arriving at the venue, ours looked significantly below the standard we had been led to expect. It was genuinely embarrassing after organising the booking for a group of children and reassuring the other parents that it would be a lovely experience.
I raised a complaint with Anything for Hire, not because I believed the vehicle was unsafe, but because I didn’t feel the service matched what had been advertised or promised. I supplied photographs and videos taken at the pickup location before the children got into the limousine.
I was disappointed that the investigation focused almost entirely on the vehicle’s MOT, licensing and roadworthiness rather than the actual condition and presentation of the limousine. The supplier also incorrectly stated that my photos were taken after the journey, despite them being taken before departure. This point was never properly addressed.
Anything for Hire’s final resolution was to offer me a 25% discount on a future booking. As I have lost confidence in using the company again, this was not a meaningful resolution for me.
I appreciate that the journey itself went ahead and the children arrived safely, which is of course the most important thing. However, the overall standard of the vehicle and the way my complaint was handled fell well below my expectations.
Based on my experience, I would not book through Anything for Hire again.

Following your complaint, a full investigation was carried out, and we have taken your feedback regarding both the vehicle and the handling of your complaint seriously. We are sorry that you felt the investigation did not adequately address the concerns you raised about the vehicle's presentation.
We genuinely value feedback such as yours, as it allows us to identify where we need to improve. We will endeavour to do better and have taken steps to ensure that concerns around vehicle condition and presentation are given the appropriate attention going forward, so that an experience like this does not happen again.
That being said, we would also like to clarify that the 25% discount previously offered remains available to you should you choose to book with us again in the future. We appreciate that you may have lost confidence in using our services, but the offer remains open should you ever decide to give us another opportunity.

I booked and paid a £220 deposit for a limousine in September 2025 for a prom in July 2026. The day before the event, I was informed by email that the limousine had been cancelled due to an accident.
Although you offered a Mercedes as an alternative, this was not a like-for-like replacement. The limousine was booked specifically so that all of the girls could travel together. The Mercedes would have required two separate trips, meaning the service you offered did not meet the agreement we had made.
As you were unable to provide the service that was contracted, I do not believe it is reasonable to retain my £220 deposit. I therefore request a full refund of the deposit within 14 days.
If the refund is not received, I will have no option but to pursue the matter further, including making a claim through the County Court (small claims track), if necessary. I wonder how many times they book the limo out, then say its unable and keep peoples deposits
...AVOID AT ALL COSTS
