I was adamant I didn't want bariatric surgery, I have a small child and didn't need the downtime. This was perfect choice for me. Yes at the start you feel a bit grim for a day or 2, but nothing you can't handle. What it has done for me is be the tool I needed to help me make better choices. The support I received was amazing, the advice for what to eat, calorie deficit, protein intake, this gave me the edge. I have gone from an unhappy size 16/18 to a comfortable size 12 and a healthy BMI. Now the balloon has gone, my weight has plateaued, I couldn't be happier. Thank you Rachel for your support. Really pleased I decided to go for the balloon! It has really changed my life for the better mentally and physically! Everyone who I’ve spoken to have been friendly and helpful. Only down side is I had to travel quite far but I believe since o have had mine there is more clinics now.

It was a huge decision to make to have the gastric balloon insertion. After weeks of research I made the choice to contact Allurion. The first call I had with Daniela Beck was just so inspiring, she made me feel completely at ease and understood all of reservations and reason for wanting to change my lifestyle. I spoke with Daniela twice and I felt she genuinely cared.
I had the placement on 22nd Aug which was easy and pain free. Everyone at the clinic was amazing!
6 weeks down the line I am over 2 stone lighter and losing everyday.
I have never felt more positive!
It’s not an easy option but I have felt supported every step of the way!

Ho iniziato questa esperienza a maggio e mi ha cambiato la vita! Non sono mai stata brava con le diete ma grazie a questo aiuto e al team veramente fantastico, sono riuscita in poco tempo a prendere i kg di troppo! Sono veramente contenta di aver intrapreso questo percorso, programma Allurion con palloncino gastrico. Mi ha seguita e mi sta seguendo un team fantastico, CPN Italia Medica, sempre a disposizione per ogni chiarimento o dubbio che avessi. Sicuramente ci vuole tanta determinazione ma essere supportati da un team forte e competente aiuta molto. Esperienza assolutamente positiva, sono molto grata di averli conosciuti.

Sono stata seguita dal team CNP ITALIA MEDICA. Tutti molto preparati e sempre pronti a risolvere qualsiasi mio problema. Grazie a loro in poco più 2 mesi ho raggiunto il mio peso forma🥰.

Easy procedure really BUT a big rip off of £4 grand+

Excruciating pain after for over a week. 9lb lost the first week obviously as I was attached to the toilet or vomiting all the time the nausea and stomach cramps were worse than labour pains. Had to have 2 weeks off work as I couldn’t move and was in so much pain. Then comes the constipation when you start to eat properly. I was told every patient is different but read the reviews before you do it and don’t waste your money. My stomach is huge with the swelling still and I’m eating very healthy and I can’t wait for the thing to go away naturally as to get it out costs about £3grand. I wanted this done for my self esteem and now I am worse as I look pregnant. Please please please think very carefully before doing this I wish I had

Ho affrontato la procedura a Milano nella speranza di perdere almeno il 9% del mio peso.
Dopo le prime settimane, in cui ho perso circa 5kg a causa di forti dolori e nausea derivanti dal palloncino stesso, non ho più perso un etto.
Mi é stata data una dieta da 800kcal, che non avevo modo di poter seguire, visto il costante senso di fame.
La presenza del palloncino non ha assolutamente attutito quest'ultima e nonostante le mie richieste di indagare se il palloncino fosse ancora in loco, mi é stato solo consigliato di avere più pazienza.
Mi sento mortificata per aver gettato oltre 4000€ dalla finestra.
Pessimo servizio, pessime informazioni ricevute, pessimo tutto.

I used the online form to find out if i was eligible for the balloon and was contacted the same day (as i had requested) to find out where i could go to have the balloon in. Everything was very thorough and i didnt feel rushed or pressured to make an immediate decision and i felt like i could contact allurion at any time for new questions and thoughts. The hospital was provided with a kit which i saw them open it had the balloon and its kit for placement and it also included some scales and a smart watch for me. I lost 2 stone while the balloon was in and half a stone has slowly crept back on but has since stopped and i am maintaining at a 1.5 stone loss :)
I recently contacted allurion again and have spoken to daniela who said she remembers our conversation from when i first contacted them which was really lovely and made my experience feel alot more personal.
I am more than happy to recommend allurion rather than "the weight loss balloon" and although the journey has been up and down, the company behind the balloon made my experience that little bit extra special.

Me puse el balón allurion en enero de 2023, en la clínica Kiharu Hermosilla. Me gustó el mètodo porque no era invasivo, y porque incluía un año de nutricionista que te enseñaba a comer.
Los tres primeros días fue tal y cómo me habían explicado en la clínica, molestias, náuseas… Pero con seguimiento constante para que no me asustara y se me pasó.
A partir de ahí todo fue genial, seguimiento semanal, no es fácil cambiar hábitos, esto no es para adegazar (al menos para mí) es para cuidarse, hace un año y medio, he perdido 45kg, y no sólo fue el balón, es todo lo que he aprendido y como de todo! Pero he cambiado mis hábitos de alimentación un 100%. Es que podría escribir un libro con todo lo que he aprendido este tiempo, no solo de comida, si no de cuidados, de respetarse como persona…
Era el empujón que necesitaba para hacer un cambio real en mi vida. Que puede que suene a tópico, pero es real.
Así que gracis Allurion, gracias Kiharu y gracias a todas las profesionales de la clínica que sin ellas no lo hubiera conseguido!!

Ha sido el mejor método
Para lograr la baja de peso en conjunto con el cambio de hábitos alimenticios y el ejercicio como rutina diaria !!! En estos 4 años he logrado mantener el peso pero además incrementado musculatura!

You know the wardrobe pixies? The ones that creep in every night and tighten your clothes? Mine were running rampant, or perhaps it would be more honest to say my appetite was! Nothing fit me like it should, and my 'larger' clothes were the only things fitting!

I knew it was time to do something about it so I started looking at my options. It's funny how our smart devices seem to understand, as suddenly I was being bombarded with adverts for weight loss drugs and diets. In amongst them was an advert for Allurion - I was intrigued by the idea of a non-surgical approach. I made an initial call and spoke to a friendly, helpful chap who talked me through the process. I was directed to the website to read testimonials and to get more information about the procedure.

I spoke to my chosen hospital within a few days and again was impressed at the kindness and friendliness I received. No question was too random! I did have to laugh when I spoke with the consultant a few days later- one of my questions had him saying 'hmm, no-one has ever asked me that before!' No spoilers, but it was very left-field!!

I was nervous on the day of the procedure, but again staff were patient, kind and helped me to relax. The procedure was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be, and over in a flash. I wasn't sick at all, on the day or afterwards. A hot water bottle for the first 3 days was helpful. I didn't need painkillers, and whilst my appetite disappeared and I was slightly uncomfortable, I was so happy to see the numbers on the scales going the right way for a change.

In the first 6 weeks I lost just over 11kg, the weight loss has slowed down a little and I do need to be careful about not having 'just one more' (I learned the hard way, I ate too much one evening and it left me feeling very uncomfortable for 24hrs - lesson learned!) But I can honestly say I am so glad I made the decision to go with Allurion. Bobby the Balloon is still with me for a few more weeks, I'll be sad to see him go, but feel like I've made changes to my diet and routine that will stay with me.

UPDATE- I AM NOW ALMOST SIX WEEKS IN WITH TEN TO GO AND COUNTING THE DAYS. I AM VOMITTING VIOLENTLY AND DAIILY STILL AND SLEEPING OFF THE NAUSEA, LUCKILY I AM SELF EMPLOYED AND IN A POSTION TO DO THIS OTHERWISE I WOULD PROBABLY BE UNEMPLOYED.

PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS. The process is brutal and you are extremely unwell for days after it. I am on day 5 and wished I hadn't done it. I have no idea if I have lost any weight but the whole process has been horrendous. Getting the actual balloon in is the worst thing I have ever experienced, I think my body went into shock afterwards as I slept for two whole days and nights. any time I have been awake I am projectile vomiting. Hoping this eases as we approach the one week mark. Even if it does, I would NEVER recommend this to anyone.

Fatto il palloncino posizionato il 5 aprile ma con risultati davvero scarsi nonostante sia partita contenta e decisa di averlo fatto dopo 15/20 giorni da posizionamento inizia la delusione avendo pochi risultati rispetto a quelli promessi visto il peso che avrei dovuto perdere. Io non lo rifarei mai e non lo consiglierei perché la mia esperienza è stata davvero negativa, parlo di me e per me non vale per nulla i soldi spesi. Questa è la mia esperienza personale attuale dopo quasi 4 mesi dal posizionamento.

Pessima esperienza in tutto, non lo consiglio assolutamente, fate una buona alimentazione e risparmiate tutti quei soldi che si prendono.

Me lo puse el 2 de mayo, he perdido peso, si. Pero el coste es altísimo. Tengo mal estar todo el día, me duele, a veces no puedo sentarme y los viajes en coche se han vuelto un infierno. Yo no lo recomiendo, la verdad.

Très mauvaise expérience, énorme perte d’argent. J’étais capable de manger presque normalement au bout de 10 jours. Gardez votre argent!
