Allrecipes Arvostelua 

I am a recipe cook, so if I have an idea I search for a recipe online. I've been disappointed by print magazines and blogs, but AllRecipes has never let me down!
I always read the reviews because if lots are saying "too salty" or something similar, or mention a substitution I would also like, I can adjust. Loved the app, now only online but still my go-to.

What happened to this website??
I’m unable to search for recipes….so disappointed and frustrated, this was my favorite website to use for recipes…guess I’ll start using other highly recommended websites!!

So frustrated I lost ALL my saved recipes. Probably from about 15+ years! Now I have to search for them one by one. Or maybe just find new ones on other sites. What a waste of time!!

Years ago, this used to be a great site, but then they got sold off to people who don’t give a crap. I can still find my recipes, but you can bet I’ve printed them all off because I’m sure this thing will go down sooner rather than later. I can’t figure out how to write a review of recipes. The most awful thing is that you used to be able to put down personal notes to remind yourself of how you’d like to change the recipes, but that’s all gone. So now to be safe, you have to print them out and hand write notes on your piece of paper. I hate to change apps because I have a lot of good recipes on this app as favorites, but how low can it go??

I have attempted to use Allrecipes.com several times in the past few months, and again today. It is extremely cumbersome and limited. The various search features that were so valuable are all gone. In addition to losing the ability to search by ingredient - which was by far the most helpful feature of the old site, I also can no longer change the serving size, which is a simple task for a coder. Even with a straightforward search, I have a hard time finding recipes. Over the years, I have saved hundreds of recipes on this site, and they are nearly all gone. I now have just a sampling on this site of what I used to have. Why go backwards - shouldn't change go forward? I'm now on the hunt for a functional recipe site.

I can no longer access my own personal recipes on Allrecipes.com. This is very disappointing going through the holiday not being able to use my favorite recipes. They stopped answering my emails after Thanksgiving.

What ever happened to the .co.uk site? This is now unusable, most measurements are using cups or sticks of butter - no use to us here in UK. Can't find all the lovely, dependable recipes and didn't keep any copies as the site was always there!! I won't use this anymore as too much time spent looking for workable recipes and finding none, such a shame :(

Allrecipes uk was awesome, had so many useful bits in there. Since they got rid of the uk site (Without notice I hasten to add), it is complete and utter toilet matter at best. Without even transferring the excisting recipes across there any many unhappy former site users.

I'm in the US and this site has gone off the rails here also. My profile never comes up all saved recipes are gone and absolutely not way to get help. All you get is how to subscribe to their magazine. I can still find recipes but I started going to simplyrecipes first. I also use recipe source for international stuff it breaks down to the regions and countries.

Allrecipes.co.uk was great
Now allrecipe.com is a travesty - recipes are lacking - all measurements are US and the recipes themselves are lacking and there's no cultural variety (something you could easily find with the old sites
I'd give the new allrecipes.com a ZERO if I could

I have been using Allrecipes for years and loved it. In fact, I put all my recipes in there and got rid of all the paper copies of favorite recipes. This worked well for years. Not any more. I can even begin to cover all the ways it has deteriorated. I can no longer edit my personal recipes. I have to re-log in every time I go to a new recipe in my personal recipes. The website is no longer user friendly. They seem to be so interested in monetizing their website that they don't care whether people can use it as it's intended. Very disappointed. I'm actively looking for another place to store my recipes. Currently using Pinterest.

This is a real shame. Used the uk version for a long time. Then under gpdr they deleted user info. Stayed using for my regular recipes, however this looks like now they have deleted the uk database of recipes. All i get now is amrican with cup sizes listed. All my bookmarked pages are gone all the normal recipes i used are no longer there. Can now no longer filter by star rating either. Site has destroyed itself. Now looking for a new site. Shame as i had some great recipes there

Used to be good, now useless.
Searching is painful, ineffective and riddled with adverts, but the hook allrecipes had was that as I had saved recipes, I'd built up a list over years, meaning I'd always come back even though the site had gone downhill.

You deleted my list some time back without warning, and now even bookmarked pages have just disappeared. There's no reason for me to come back anymore, so I won't.

I have just made the chocolate cake, it’s a waste of ingredients, feel like throwing it in the bin.
It says to use two sandwich tins, well folks, don’t, save your ingredients and find a recipe better than this.

I only make recipes rated 4.5 stars and I'm always pleased with the results. Many of the recipes are made for people who know how to cook so I'm assuming those who gave the site low marks are either nubies or bad cooks

The website is garbage, unfortunately. They have entirely too many advertisements trying to load on every page which makes it difficult to navigate quickly. Adding your own recipes isn't too difficult but good luck uploading a photo. I tried uploading my own photos and it doesn't work at all. Navigating to the recipes you want in your favorites is a joke and, once you finally get the page loaded, a random full - page ad will pop up completely blocking the page. Use Pinterest or just save the recipes to PDF so you can save yourself some time

The recipe for Bread Machine Hot Cross Buns is hopeless.
The items in the ingredients list is completely wrong, and if like me, you try to make the buns as instructed, all you will get is a very runny batter type substance.
DO NOT TRY AND MAKE - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I couldn't believe my eyes. They just said Corona Virus found in an ice-cream. And just below put signage get recipe. Are they completely out of their mind? Do they think that anyone would be interested to get recipe for ice-cream including Covid 19 ? I'd this a joke? They need a proof reading for their Website

Alleged customer service for help with any problem with their site is nonexistent.
When contacted a quick reply is received stating the message was received and they will get back to you in 3 to 5 business days. It never happens...even when reminded.
