Completely underhand company
Completely underhand company, reported a personal product that I was selling on Ebay as fake because it was cheaper than their price. It was a one off sale to help save accumulate some money to help my elderly dad!

Great Product with Room for Easier Installation
As a driving instructor, I use AlloyGators daily and overall, I’m very happy with the product. They do a great job protecting the wheels and also look stylish on the car. I typically go through two sets a year, especially on the front wheels due to frequent use.
That said, I wanted to share a bit of feedback from my experience. For the price, I believe the metal clips should come pre-installed, or at least pre-attached to the plastic strips. Fitting them myself can be quite time-consuming—I usually spend around 40 minutes just getting the clips in place and gluing them, often ending up with glue on my fingers. Installing the protectors on the wheels only takes about 20 minutes, so the prep work ends up being the most frustrating part.
It’s a great product overall, but a small change like pre-fitting the clips would make a big difference in ease of use.

Excellent product built to last and of course protect your wheels
Dan at AlloyGator has been very helpful with fitting advice and I really appreciate this.
The AlloyGators are very well made with a superior fixing system which isn't "stuck" in place like cheaper products. Imho they are very good value for money, especially if you have 20" black alloys like mine that cost £150 per wheel to repair.
I strongly recommend taking your car to an approved fitter if you don't feel you have the skills to fit the product. Ideally you need a ramp because the hammering in process requires a reasonable amount of force and I wouldn't be confident with a standard car jack. That said, if you are proficient then these can certainly be fitted as a DIY project.
You will of course need them removing and re-fitting when new tyres go on, something of a downside. However, just plan ahead for this. The same applies to replacing a damaged AlloyGator on one wheel (and if you're like me then you won't rest until it's done).

Nice subtle black Alloygator fitted to Mercedes
Today I had a set of Alloygator fitted to our new car. Service was quick and polite as ever and the car looks good. The choice of black protectors really suits the black and metal finish of the cars AMG line alloy wheels.

When you contacted us, we discussed the fitment and explained that the test tool provided should be used before installation to confirm suitability. In this case, the AlloyGators were fitted despite not being suitable for your specific wheels, which is why the clips were visible and the look was not as expected.
As two profiles had already been used, we offered a partial refund and also suggested Rimblades as an alternative that would work better for your wheels. We do our best to help in these situations and regret that our solution didn’t meet your expectations.

Company review removed because it was negative
Used alloygators. The company had my review removed. So I'll post it again in hope to save others damaging their alloys.
i have used these on two cars. they have ruined both cars alloys with corrosion when removed as apparently "if they are poorly fitted or the alloy is dirty before applying, this will happen"> they were fitted on brand new cars in the showroom. there was no risk of dirt!. the head office at alloygator have advised me renaults and citroens are apparently notorious for corrosion. however having had new cars for past 31 years and NEVER having any issues with corrosion until using alloygators i personally see a theme that alloygators have ruined the alloys! i stand by my assumption. i would never recommend. its cheaper to repair the alloy IF they get knocked,

Package lost with not track sorted out
I had a bad experience with the courier who lost the package and even after months of trying to sort it out they never did anything for me. I contacted Dan from Alloygator and he solved the problem within two or three hours. Excellent customer care.

I had an issue with my resent purchase of gators for my Honda jazz the Honda dealer advised that the gators would not fit correctly due to the alloy wheel design being a sport model so I had to return the gators and dealt with Daniel Grimwood who was very helpful in dealing with my concern and was able to get my refund dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Avoid at all costs
I had Alloygators fitted to my brand new mini by one of their approved fitters. About 1 month later I was having the car ceramic coated and the wheels coated as well by a professional detailer. He needed to remove the gators to apply the coating to the wheels and researched how to do this properly without damaging the wheels. Having removed them he found all sorts of damage caused by the fitting and use of them. I returned to the fitter who agreed that they had damaged my wheels and agreed to pay £400 to refurbish them. He wouldn’t however reimburse me the £180 I paid to have them fitted. I then contacted Alloygator who after several condescending emails also refused to reimburse me. In my opinion a product that is designed to prevent damage and does quite the opposite damaging them is “not fit for purpose” and I am entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The bold claims made by them can also be interpreted as false advertising and can be reported to Trading Standards. Misleading Marketing Regulations 2007. I fully intend to go via Trading Standards and report them. A product that is meant to prevent damage but instead causes damage is to be avoided at all costs.
