iOS app not published yet for the flagship Elite product. Airofit still blaming Apple and taking no responsibility themselves. Why didn't they put the app in for review in anticipation for the release of the product, rather than last minute...? I'm very close to asking for a refund.

An overpriced gimmick…But
It really annoys me that with a 300 € device, you constantly have to remove the Bluetooth unit from the device just to wash it. I don’t think it’s worth that price , the fact that it has a 2 € Bluetooth module doesn’t justify a 300 € price tag. The cheaper model, which costs around 60 €, is much closer to its real value, since the two devices are basically identical, except that one includes this Bluetooth module that allows it to work with the training app, which also requires a subscription if you want the full experience. Of course, none of this is mentioned when you buy it, it’s not fair.
And it’s especially funny that the device was released on November 14, and even after three weeks, there’s still no iOS Airofit Elite app available.

UPDATE after 45 days:
I still stand by my criticism regarding the build quality and the annoying cleaning process. It feels cheap for the price.
HOWEVER, the results are undeniable.
I forced myself to use it because of the high price tag, and the app kept me motivated.
* Lung capacity: Increased by 0.6 Liters.
* Inspiratory strength: Hit elite athlete levels (170 cmH2O).
* Expiratory strength:156 cmH2O.
* Blood pressure: Dropped from 135/95 to a steady 125/85 (without medication).
So, yes, it IS an overpriced piece of plastic. But it’s an overpriced piece of plastic that fixed my breathing and blood pressure because the app made me consistent. If you need the data motivation, buy it. If you have iron discipline, get the cheap one.

Unclear instructions and too focused on paid options
The exercise does not provide clear explanations on what needs to be done or what the expected outcome should be. You end up working blindly without understanding the objective. In addition, the tools included in the free package are quite limited and not very useful, giving the impression that you must purchase a paid plan to have a complete experience. Overall, not very satisfying.

Beware of tariffs if you leave in the U.S.
I purchased an Airofit Elite on 10/25/25 and still have not received. It was shipped via FedEx and FedEx is requiring payment of $190.50 of custom taxes prior to delivery. The purchase price was $349 which equates to a 55% tax. Airofit simply points me to a disclaimer that says it is not liable for any taxes. So, I am left to try to resolve the percentage tax on my own.

I do marathon/ultra endurance cycling
I do marathon/ultra endurance cycling. I’ve been using the Airofit Pro 2 for two months now and I have to say I am surprised how noticeable the benefits of training with this have been. Several times through the day I can feel the satisfaction of getting a fuller deeper breath. During hard efforts on the bike I’ve noticed a drop in my HR.
I’m so impressed with the device I just ordered one for my father who has been complaining he has trouble getting a deep breath. I think this device can help anyone live a better day, breath is life.
Customer service was also very helpful, I forgot about upcoming black Friday deals, and when I emailed them they refunded me the discount difference that I missed out on from ordering on the Wednesday before it.

I had two issues
I had two issues.
1. One was a faulty computer part which was promptly replaced for free
2. My premium membership wasn’t working but they were very kind and solved it the same day.
They are super quick to answer and very pleasant. I have bought from them the last 3 years and I will continue to do so.

We can confirm that you purchased the Airofit Active. This model does not include a charging cable because it doesn’t contain any electronics. Airofit Active is our simplified breathing trainer and does not connect to the app or include an E-unit. :)
You can still access our free Airofit app for guided breathing exercises. Each exercise provides standardized visual and audio instructions to help ensure you’re performing them correctly.

I very much like the idea and the…
I very much like the idea and the vision, but the software/app continues to be “buggy”. It appears that the communication/connection between the device and my iphone not always goes smoothly.
For example during the lung test, the instructions are to breath deep in before breathing out, but for some reason the breathing out instruction is delayed or sometimes does not come. While the next time it is working fine. Similarly there are moments in any (random) exercise where it appears that the app on my phone is “waiting” for a cue from the device in my hand and between my lips, but it is not coming.. sometimes it helps to block the mouthpiece with my tongue for a second to trigger the cue, but that is not fixing the delay/waiting everytime. Yes, I have cycled the device, the app and my phone multiple times, I even have a new phone now, but this issue has been ongoing for at least the last 2 years. Sometimes it is very frustrating and I put the device away for a while, but start again hoping it is better again.. but no.. The only thing I have not consistently tried as a remedy is wash the device after each use.. perhaps O should try that.
