I came to this firm through a comparison site, compareairsource.co.uk. I expected some idea of what the issues/costs but just got bumped to this firm having given them all my info. You should be more careful about who you allow to use your name.

Schlechter Service!!!!
Diese Woche wurde unsere Anlage installiert und am Donnerstag in Betrieb genommen. Wir haben ein Zweifamilienhaus. Am Mittwoch stand bereits unser Bad unter Wasser weil ein Ventil zum Entlüften nicht verschlossen war. Antwort Techniker:Da ist ja alles gefliest. Türzargen gequollen, Aira kontaktiert, Projektleiter hat sich nicht zurückgemeldet! Techniker fuhren am Donnerstag. Obere Wohnung warm, untere Wohnung kalt! Heizkörper in oberer Wohnung wo Ventile getauscht wurden tropfen, Wasser bereits in Laminat eingezogen! Anruf bei Aira, ein Rückruf soll am nächsten Werktag erfolgen. Das ist am Dienstag da wir Ostern haben. Wir sitzen hier bei 17 Grad in unserer Wohnung!

Daniel Knowles was excellent…
Daniel Knowles was excellent throughout. We’d contacted Aira because our living room/dining room/kitchen wasn’t getting up to the specified temperature of 21degrees-some days when it was dull and cloudy it was 17.5-18.5 degs.
We thought we might need a few bigger radiators which was an option in the original design.
Daniel said to try moving the thermostat to another room and deleting the nighttime setback and monitor this to see if it makes a difference. Overnight and today the house temperature was higher so that’s a good start-will just have to keep monitoring things at the moment.

I decided to go with Aira for a heat…
I decided to go with Aira for a heat pump installation through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, expecting a modern and efficient heating system.
Unfortunately, my experience has not been positive so far.
Since the installation, the system has not been heating my home adequately, especially downstairs. Even though the thermostat shows around 21–22°C, the house feels cold and uncomfortable.
Before the heat pump, with my previous gas boiler, the house was much warmer. I didn’t need all radiators on maximum — most were set to 2 or 3 and only certain rooms were used. Now, all radiators are set to 5 and running continuously, yet the house is still not warm.
This is affecting daily life — my child cannot comfortably stay and play downstairs in the living room anymore due to the lack of warmth.
I have followed all instructions provided by Aira, but the issue remains unresolved.
I appreciate that the installation team was professional, but the overall system performance is not what was expected.
At this point, I am very disappointed and waiting for a proper resolution.
I hope Aira will take this seriously and fix the issue as soon as possible.

The plumbing and electrical team…
The plumbing and electrical team were excellent , first class job. Valorant ( plumbing installation ) was excellent couldnt have been more pleased , moreover left absolutely no mess whatsoever. Would highly recommend them. Likewise, the electrical team who came , quitely and confidently did their job with no fuss or problem whatsoever. It was obvious they worked well together.

Don’t use this company for heat pumps - fast sell is the name of the game
Rather inept estimator guy came round -
Ill informed commentary -
1. all small providers are trying to rip you off
2. We manipulate the market pricing to get better value
3. We do smaller micro bore than 8mm !
4. Didn’t engage in how many rads I had or power output of boiler or my understanding of heat pumps
5. Upset the wife and daughter as they left and he barged into our home
6. Arrogant
7. Rude
8. Forced to watch a video - which I knew most of anyway
9. Asked to use my WiFi - denied
10. Left after 20 mins as id had enough of his insolence
I had expected Aira to be the Rolls Royce of engagements- they are horrid and I don’t trust them.
My advice ? Track heat geeks that know about heat loss, and some good informed videos on utube with good experience and explanations of Valliant, Grant and Ideal heat pumps.
Don’t use Aria. Bloody awful arrogant muppets.

Abbiamo installato un impianto in Pompa di Calore AIRA da circa 15 giorni e siamo molto contenti sia del funzionamento che della gestione del nuovo impianto. Già dai primi colloqui con il Commerciale Denis Golinelli, abbiamo avuto un ottima assistenza perché ci ha illustrato dettagliatamente il tipo di impianto idoneo per la nostra abitazione e seguito fino all'installazione. A fault took 22 hours to resolve which…
A fault took 22 hours to resolve which caused us worry for too long as to whether we would have heat & hot water !
However it was finally solved mainly by the persistence of one person - Medy !
She stuck with us getting the right ideas for us to try ourselves that resulted in success.

Absolut NICHT empfehlenswert! 0 Punkte!
Die Frage sollte lauten, was ist gut gelaufen. Und das kann man mit einem Wort beantworten. NICHTS! Absolut nicht empfehlenswert! 0 Sterne sind noch zu viel!
Die Beratung bis zur Unterschrift war gut. Jede Frage wurde innerhalb einer Stunde beantwortet.
Mit der Vertragsunterschrift änderte es sich schlagartig.
Emails wurden gar nicht oder erst nach mehreren Wochen und mehreren Mails beantwortet. EIne Bestätigung des Installationstermins kam erst nach vielen Emails und dann auch erst 3 Tage vor dem Termin. Der Termin wurde natürlich nicht eingehalten und die Installation begann ein paar Tage später. Alle Angaben, über die zu ersetzenden Heizkörper wurden nicht eingahlten. Der Ausbau der alten Öltanks wurde von Amateuren, ohne deutsche Sprachkenntnisse, ohne entsprechende Werkzeuge, dilettantisch ausgebaut. Und natürlich kam es da zu diversen Zwischenfällen, bei dem auch Öl auslief.
Die weiter Montage war eine Katastrophe. Alles sollte innerhalt 3-4 Tage erledigt sein, aber nicht mit Aira! Bestellte Heizkörper waren nicht bestellt, nicht da, falsch geliefert. Nach dem Einbau waren diverse Heizkörper undicht. Die elektrische Verkabelung war mangelhaft verlegt und wurde erst nach vielen Beschwerden berichtigt. Heizkörper waren nur unzureichend, bis gar nicht, befestigt. Die Liste ist noch sehr lang...
Der Einbau begann Anfang August 2025 und wurde erst Ende Oktober 2025 abgeschlossen.
Da alles so schlecht lief wurde mir auch ein Rabatt versprochen. Das war natürlich gelogen. Seit Anfang 2026 meldet sich niemand mehr und der Gebietsleiter Herr L. geht auch nicht ans Telefon. Emails werden natürlich nicht beantwortet.
Ich kann nur hoffen, dass die Heizung wenigstens lange geht.
Ich würde nie wieder etwas mit Aira machen. Kann jeden nur abraten!
