I purchased an AD5500 air doctor three years ago. I paid over $700 for this unit. The ion feature and to reset filter feature is not working. I called to get Support to see if I could get some help and what they said is they only give it a year warranty and I didn’t have an extended warranty and there is no discount off purchasing another one. This unit is cleaned every six 6 months and the charcoal and HEPA filter are replaced. The front screen filter is cleaned. I am self-employed myself, and if a customer came to me and was disappointed after spending this kind of money after three years, I definitely would recommend sending them a new unit. I will never buy an air doctor again. Very sad Customer Service.

I visited Bangkok Hospital Samui for an eye problem that had been ongoing for about a week, and I had a very positive experience.

The facility is modern, clean, and well organized. The staff was professional, kind, and very helpful from the beginning. Despite being in discomfort (strong light sensitivity and difficulty keeping my eyes open), I was treated with care and attention.

The doctor was thorough and professional, performing a complete examination and clearly explaining my condition. I was diagnosed with keratoconjunctivitis and prescribed a comprehensive treatment, including both eye drops and oral antibiotics.

I really appreciated how they considered all possible causes (viral, bacterial, and others) without underestimating the condition.

The total cost for the visit and medications would have been around 9,900 baht, but it was fully covered by my insurance.

Overall, I highly recommend this hospital: high standards, competent staff, and very efficient service.

Fast, professional and efficient service

I was able to get an online appointment within a few hours. The doctor spoke excellent English and prescribed 3 items that I was able to pick up from a pharmacy 5 minutes from where I was staying. Unfortunately because my head was congested and I had a terrible cough I wasn't thinking clearly enough to ask if I was contagious or fit to fly. Now I'm in another city and am set to fly in 2 days. In order to reschedule or cancel my flight I need a note from a doctor. This will require another appointment. I've suggested to AirDoctor,since their clientele are tourists, that it would be helpful to have the doctors give those answers at the end of each appointment. Other than that, I'm glad AirDoctor was available. It's very easy to use. And I'm 69 years old.

I didn't know how to find a local doctor quickly for a quick check up while travelling that spoke English. I only had 1 day in the location. I stumbled on the Air Doctor site was was able to seamlessly find a very experienced doctor nearby who did a home visit and gave me reassurance and scripts to carry on. I am so grateful for this site, thank you so much!

Was referred very quickly to Dr Dimitri V who was very kind, helpful and understanding.
My one observation/complaint is about the process of inputting the date of birth onto the App. There was no facility to enter it manually, and you can only go backward a month at a time on the system. So, at April 2026 and trying to input my date of birth in 1950, you can imagine this was ridiculously arduous and time consuming. I would have had to tap the screen 912 times to get back to 1950!!!! This seriously needs fixing.

i’m living in south korea for 4 months to study and i am someone who worries about their health sometimes! so when i started feeling faint i was really scared and so far from home, the process of booking an appointment for a doctor seemed so confusing and i just gave up. but my friend who is also staying here to study told me about air doctor and honestly i had an appointment with a really really trustworthy doctor in about 10 minutes! i was worried it wouldn’t be an actual GP doctor but it is! i’ve had the best experience and this is coming from someone who is prone to feeling anxious about doctors. i recommend! also the prices aren’t that bad!
