They scammed me in the cover of selling a product, once they hot my card info, they charged almost triple the amount of money of the product i ordered as a membership. No product received in weeks plus they eated me to give them a fake 5 star review on trustpilot so they can scam other people.

Engañosamente dicen que me suscribi a una membresia y quieren cobrarme 9.99 dolares. Todo falso. Fraude. Dicen que sus politicas le impiden devolver el dinero

I assure you they are scammers and scam people using their stupid membership. Actually they post something like a Aad on Facebook saying its from IMTIAZ and they are offering a shoulder bag in just 571 Rupees so i tried to order it and put my credentials and then they charged double of amount like two times 571 rupees were deducted from my account also some tax for international transactions. I did'nt know that they would'nt stop here.So two days later I received msgs from my bank that 16k PKR is deducted from my account one from Agadgetplace.com and another 16k from getforoutdoor.com both at the same time. I loss 37k in total due to these fraudlent websites so I immediately blocked my card. then saw an email from them that they have charged membership money from me which I never applied for. So I tried to cancel it and they sent me an Email saying YOUR AMOUNT WILL BE REFUNDED TO YOUR ACCOUNT JUST WRITE A REVIEW ON TRUST PILOT SAYING WE ARE HELPFUL. Why would I do that ??? so 7 days already passed and I am still getting emails from them asking for a positive review to get my money back. I still haven't received my money back and have no hope left.

I asked them to cancel my subscription and they said they will cancel it and refund me the money they paid. I am hoping to get the refund and have my subscription canceled.

AGadgetPlace sent me so many emails and messages "explaining" that I had to take this review down before they could process the return of any money they had removed from my account that I had to block them for some peace. I felt harassed and targeted for weeks after the experience. Now, many months later they are trying to make out that this review is fake in order to make Trustpilot remove it. I stand by my experience with this "business". I believe this to be a scam. I did not sign up for the service. I was doing a survey for a mystery box from Le Creuset and suddenly I had a charge from The Gadget Place and an email from this company/website and another website (gojitoys). Both told me I had an existing account with them that was up for renewal in a few days and that the charge was in Euros. Both are apparently based in Cyprus.

It was difficult to access cancellation on both sites and took 2 days to respond and say they would cancel my subscription. But the cancellation from The Gadget Place isnt immediate according to their emails. Their correspondence says it will only end in August and yet a fee is still meant to be charged before then. Luckily they have only taken a small amount so far and then reversed it and then charged it again. I have already reported both companies to my banks fraud division in case. No firther charges occured but I was never reimbursed and I continue to receive daily emails asking me to take this review down - to the point of feeling harassed by the relentlessness of it. I'd be far more likely to amend this review if they just stopped but now the way they engage makes me feel like I owe it to other people to make sure they know how this company operates.

Reading all the other reviews on this site it seems that the vast majority land up on the site accidentally and then in an attempt to cancel the subscription they didnt sign up for they have to deal with customer service. Nearly all the reviews appear to be for someone assisting them in the cancellation rather than using a service or receiving a product. Very very sketchy.

So on July 22nd, 2025 i bought a bad from there website and without any confirmation they charged me $2 and today they charged me again with some dollar and its such an unacceptable thing, i didn't receive my parcel tho yet and i don't want it now.

Me cobraron 3 importes de forma ilícita sin haber accedido a la web, y se han negado a la devolución del dinero.
