Thank you for your feedback, I've looked into this with our team. The image on the website page for the item you ordered shows all the parts that are included. They are securely bagged up inside a box, and all were accounted for in the pre-postage checks when they left our site. The washers you have said are missing aren't listed or shown as being included with this product. Our team reached out to explain this and ask if anything else was missing, but as of yet we haven't heard back from you. Please get in touch to let us know if this is the case so we can arrange for a replacement to be sent out.

The customer service at AE has been excellent.
The team at AE are genuinely knowledgeable industry professionals These are not pushy salespeople and that really makes a difference.
We don’t really write reviews… So when we do.. We do it because the company has made an impact. We need a great level of understanding when it comes to production methods ensuring we purchase something that will optimise our manufacturing not just increase our balance sheets.
They took the time to answer questions and were incredibly helpful throughout the process.
We recently purchased two new machines from AE and the whole experience has been seamless (excuse the pun). From delivery and installation to having a reliable point of contact and ongoing aftercare, the support has been first class.
Companies like AE are rare in the UK. Highly recommended.

Slow to respond to email enqs.
Once I managed to communicate with somebody, I got the information I needed and it was delivered safely and is exactly what I wanted and needed.
My one criticism would be slow to respond to email enqs and provide regular updates. I got the information I needed by chasing them.

I was disappointed with my experience…
I was disappointed with my experience with AE Sewing machines. I only chose to buy from them after reading good customer service reviews.
I received my initial order very quickly which was amazing, unfortunately the machine had a couple of chips on the arm plate.
I understand these things happen but the lady I spoke to about it was very abrupt and short. I was told to ‘just return it, we sell loads of these’. I did ask if the return would be at my cost and was told in the same manner to ‘send in my invoice’.
I returned the machine and requested a replacement. I had to call twice to chase my replacement which I did receive and am happy with.
I am just going to cut my losses on the return costs of the damaged machine, I will not be spending any more of my time or money with AE Sewing machines. Hopefully my experience was just a blip and others will have better service.

Thank you for leaving this review. We have discussed the issues raised in our morning meeting to establish where we went wrong in this instance and how we can resolve this.
In terms of the machine itself, being a portable blind hemmer rather than a standard machine with a table, etc. it was not subject to our usual build process. The machine is delivered to us as a complete unit, and we unfortunately didn't pick up on the manufacturers issue with the chips before sending it out to you.
It is important for us to receive a faulty product back before issuing a replacement as we need to carry out checks to establish that the same faults aren't present. As we don't have your delivery invoice (as you have explained, you were just going to cut your losses) we have instead refunded you £10 from your order value in the hopes that this will cover the cost.
We apologise for not meeting your customer service expectations on this occasion, as this is not the standard we hold ourselves to. Although it isn't what we want to hear, your feedback helps us to improve.
If you need any advice or have any questions about the machine going forward please don't hesitate to contact us.
