Appointment to quote given between 10…
Appointment to quote given between 10 and 12. 13.30 still no rep. Rang office who said they'd call him. He rang me back to say he'd been stuck in traffic on the motorway. So why not ring me and tell me so. Asked to rearrange he said he didn't have access to diary so would call me back when off the motorway. 5pm still waiting!

We're very sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration caused by the lack of communication regarding your appointment.
Thank you for taking the time to provide your details, which has enabled us to identify the branch involved and begin looking into what happened.
We appreciate how frustrating it must have been to be given an appointment window of 10am-12pm, only to receive no update when this could not be met. Clear and proactive communication is something we expect from our teams, particularly when delays occur, and we're sorry that on this occasion those expectations were not met, causing you inconvenience and uncertainty.
A member of our Head Office team will be reviewing the circumstances surrounding your appointment, including the communication and follow-up provided. We'd welcome the opportunity to restore your confidence in our service and will be in touch to discuss how we can move things forward.
Kind regards,

Extended loft hatch and wooden ladder
The team extended our loft hatch and fitted our wooden loft ladder.
It was about 3 weeks from quote to installation.
The workers arrived early and the job was completed in 2hrs. Both workers were respectful of our property. They were clean workers and even vacuumed the landing and stairs when they finished.
The ladders are good quality, the workmanship is to a high standard and their customer service is excellent. I was even given a demonstration of how to open and close the loft before they left.
I would highly recommend Acces4lofts to get the job done.

Ontime and Tidy
The boys turned up 10 minutes before installation appointment, covered the floor with protective sheets, cracked on with the works as agreed, completed the works to a high standard and cleaned up after themselves.
They did however damage a lighting cable, which I didn’t realise until 17:30 at night, typically a Friday and a bank holiday weekend but I gave the company a call anyway and within around 30 minutes I had a knock on the door with a representative to come and diagnose and repair the issue at the same time.
Sometimes you don’t know how good a company unless there are small issues that need addressing, but certainly the aftercare with this company is second to none.

While we’re sorry that this occurred, we’re pleased that the local team was able to respond quickly and resolve the issue the same evening, particularly ahead of a bank holiday weekend. Providing responsive aftercare and putting things right promptly is incredibly important to us across the network.

Exceptional customer service
David from the Leeds branch was one of a number of people I contacted about boarding my loft in York and supplying and fitting a hatch and ladder. When he first visited I was reassured by his professional manner and knowledgeable responses to my many questions. I am quite anxious about having people in my home, and rely quite heavily on these impressions. His quote was higher than others who responded, but I feel it's worth paying more for peace of mind, and in any case the price difference was quite negligible.
I was relieved to be proved right to have asked David, as he was so helpful and kind after I had difficulty. After the work was done to the highest standard, I found I could not manage getting up to the loft. In other circumstances I would have made do with the situation, but I felt that I could approach David to ask if he might have any suggestion. He replied to my e-mail suggesting another visit when it was convenient for me so we could discuss thoroughly. When he arrived he talked through a number of further options that I would not have thought of, and gave his experience and advice again in such a professional manner. Before long the workmen were back again to make changes for me. I could not have been made to feel more at ease despite turning out to be a difficult customer. It is unusual now to have such a good experience from start to finish with a true professional who takes utmost pride in his work, and who has gone above and beyond to ensure I am able to make use of it. I cannot thank David enough.

We’re absolutely delighted to hear how positive your experience was with David. It’s especially lovely to know that his professionalism, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile helped you feel at ease throughout the process — particularly given how important that initial trust is.
It’s fantastic to hear that the work was completed to such a high standard, and that David continued to support you afterwards to make sure the space worked perfectly for you. That level of care and follow-up is exactly what we strive for across the network.
Your kind words really do mean a lot, and we’ll make sure David and the Leeds team see your feedback — I know it will be greatly appreciated.

Hazard
Great service, nice product and Fitter. What a shame he hid the old wood frame with nails sticking out and the old plaster board under the new loft insulation. I was lucky to avoid injury when removing the insulation for a bathroom Fitter. At least if you have a policy to leave your rubbish, please leave it in visible before someone is hurt.
