This has been a surprise. Never heard of Zenva before a humble bundle had this Python course. I paid $25 for $1400 worth of classes. Best part being I can access it for as long as Zenva exists. Which is great as I have gotten bundles for other training courses that are good for a year or maybe 2 at best and I rarely get to use the whole time. This truly is self paced training. Courses are broken up well allowing for smaller snippets of learning when I am able to fit it in.

I love the way the lessons are structured! I'm very slow about learning, so i can chip at these at my pace so i don't miss any details. The instructions are clear and broken up in ways that make sense for me. This is the first time I've pursued online classes, and I'm glad I'm using Zenva for it. I found Zenva through Humble Bundle, which was a wonderful way to get access to the materials. I recommend both Zenva and Humble Bundle for connecting people with accessible learning materials!

Numerous courses offering a diverse range of learning opportunities. Unfortunately the quality between the different courses varies widely, with some being absolutely excellent and others are atrociously bad with course notes or content that is plain wrong or doesn't match the video instruction making it rather obvious there is little editorial overview.

Bought the godot package with a humble bundle. Unfortunately it was zenva courses. But sometimes the quantity over quality instinct kicks in, and it looked like a bunch of stuff for the price. They have a decent instructor. While many of their courses are taught by heavily accented people that make understanding an already complicated subject just a little harder, the guy they're using for godot isn't bad, easy to follow, and knows his stuff. There's a good mix of topics that you'll find useful for learning godot here.

courses are short. This is to make it look like there's more content than there is. Many of these could be combined into fewer courses with more content. They also don't go into advanced topics or mechanics.

And now my 2 unforgivable gripes with this company.

1) If you get a zenva course through a bundle, you do NOT get any kind of support. No forums, no q&a, nothing. They decided that support is only available if you pay to subscribe. So if that course you paid for isn't updated to the newest version and you don't know why something's not working? Tough. You aren't paying for a subscription so we don't care.

2) When voicing concerns like this on their ads, their first and only step is to instantly block you from commenting on their posts. So if you're on facebook and you see a zenva ad, take a look at the comments. Nothing negative. But then look at the reacts. Tons of laugh/anger emojis from people who no longer can voice those concerns.

Shady business from a shady company. Strongly recommend udemy or even youtube over these people.

Good explanations for every concept

When I first started my Intro to Godot Course, I was interested in what it had to offer. However, if I could give some criticism, the instructor doesn't tell you about some warnings that will pop up if you try to export your game. Overall though, I still had a great time learning about Godot.

Is very easy to understand and give Goodyear advices

I loved the "Build 3D Web Apps with Babylon.js" course. It was great to learn Babylon.js at a beginner level. It would be great if courses on intermediate and expert level were also available.

My only complaint is that course support is locked behind the subscription package, even though I legally purchased access to many courses.

If I had access to them, I wouldn't need to look elsewhere to resolve problems I stumble into while taking the courses.

Nice place to study, only issue I had was that sometimes it did not register lesson as completed. Also too many emails, guys I like you promotions but please relax the tempo a bit I might end up unsubscribing.

Wirklich gut, ich habe erst mit dem Programmieren angefangen und bin mittlerweile schon dabei die ersten Spiele zu programmieren. Ich als Deutscher finde, die Kurse sind wirklich gut verständlich wegen der Deutlichkeit und durch die Erklärungen gut nachvollziehbar.

I'm doing Unity's learning paths and I found it more worth it than other learning plataforms for this topic. 100% recommended.

so far I'm really learning a lot, I've been using the platform to learn Godot and I really appreciate the format. I love that I don't have to go fetch asset for the project because they're included in the course. That way I can focus a 100% on the technical part of learning things. The only small issue there is in my opinions is the fact that some of the course are still in godot 3, but it's fine in a way because you learn a lot by doing research and troubleshooting to make it work the same way in godot4. In short I really recommend for people wanting to learn all this stuff at they're own pace.

The process of joining right through to studying has been easy and seemless. Zenva is in touch regularly with tips and suggestions as well as info on courses.

I LOVE Zenva! Don't get me wrong about cancelling my subscription, i'm just saving money. All I really wanted was all the Godot related courses and I got them bought through a humble bundle package. The bite sized lessons are simple and easy to go along with, it's rather incredible! I'm getting a Bachelor's in Accounting through WGU at the moment so I'm not the most active, but I try to learn a little more of my hobby when I can.
