got thru humble bundle and had an issue with the keys, customer support was super helpful and got my courses to me within 2 days. Good courses on godot, giving some nice fundamentals through practical projects. better than udemy imo, and pairs nicely with devlogs and other online learning content

Edit: I was off on the price, it was about $10, but the review still stands. The list price for each course is $50 and the quality isn’t near worth that. It’s not even worth the subscription they push on the site.
I bought a bundle of the Unreal Engine learning “courses” from Fanatical for about $20 before looking up anything about the site itself. The actual quality of the courses are extremely poor. They say they’re updated for 5.3, but so far my experience is they either don’t feel like it or have a small note saying they STILL contain deprecated functions but you can still try it that way (I’d rather just follow free youtube tutorials that I know will be up to date. Thank you) I’m glad I didn’t actually spend list price on ANY of these, because they aren’t anywhere near worth it. If I could, I’d demand my $20 back from this, because the whole thing just feels like a scam and a waste.

For someone with ADHD I can say you guys at Zenva nailed it. Short lessons with just the right amount of information to keep me engaged and not feeling overwhelmed.

Honestly, the first degree took a bit of effort from my part.. but once I completed it with the reward of a functional game, it was hook and sinker.

I've completed 17 courses by now, with that said I have to say thank you so much with the effort that you guys put into the lessons and the method of teaching. I've wanted to learn code forever but just could not begin to understand the basics and blamed myself for it, so again THANK YOU!

What I would still like to see in the courses (if its there and I overlooked it I'm sorry) would be how to make a game design document, this will help me concrete in the tasks that would be needed to complete my one day dream game. I get overwhelmed easily then give up but feel with that knowledge and direction I can actually achieve that dream.

At the moment I find the tutorials very helpful. But I would really like to learn about skills that relate to programming that are not programming. For example, Game Dev has programming but it's not only that. There is also Art. I would really like to be able to learn skills like pixel art and music making so that i am able to create games and not just program them

The lessons are fun and straight forward. However, I would like if they would put more advanced lessons and courses, rather than beginner to intermediate courses. Don’t get me wrong, I adore Zenva, but I feel like they should make the site more welcoming to advanced programmers instead of just intermediate to beginner programmers. Also, the godot tutorials are a little outdated, but if you’re fine and can have the patience to find the exact problem you are having, then I’d say go for it! Overall, Zenva is pretty awesome, especially for aspiring developers. With its consistent sale events and amazing lessons, there’s no better time other than now to get into coding!

I'm pretty pleased to have found a place where the courses are so deep into the details for understanding the basis; most places just give you recipes "for doing things" . I'm so glad to have found Zenva.. I hope all courses are so well done as the one I'm right now taking with Daniel :)

I took a short but very effective day night cycle for unity tutorial. I liked as it was compact, very clear, step by step explaining easily why to do each step.

When I'm trying to learn a new skill, one thing I absolutely hate is 40+ hours of content split into mammoth videos.
I like education straight to the point, so I can learn something and apply it. That's exactly what we're getting here.

If you take one of the mini-degree or academy courses, each lesson builds on the other. You'll do some repetition, but it doesn't feel like repetition for the sake of repetition, it feels more like repetition for the goal of enforcement.

Peoples learning styles are different. What suits one person might not suit another, but for me the courses that I've taken with Daniel have been fantastic.

For me, an Autistic Self-learner who also has ADHD, the Zenva Courses are awesome. Especially the fact that all Lessons come with a Video + written Lessons next to the Videoplayer is so hepful to me, and its the only Platform where i, additionally to the mentioned Features, get also a downloadable PDF for literally anything that was talked about and shown in the Videos. Thanks for making learning accessable to someone like me, i strruggle a lot with other platforms!

The courses are great with a lot of detail in the theory and plenty of examples to learn from. I am really enjoying the Godot content as well as some of the Python content.

One thing I would love to see a bit more of is Go or Rust content. With Rust being adopted by a more and more tech giants like Microsoft, Amazon and Google it might be beneficial to learn the language.

I took a GODOT introductory course with no prior experience in coding and game design, the course was well-explained and easy to follow. Zeneva Academy courses are quality courses and help build up new skills

Best tutorial I ever encountered as the teacher lays everything out that even a 69 year old rookie understands !!!!

I bought the Zenva Godot humble bundle and followed a couple courses. The courses are clear, concise, and perfect for a complete beginner like myself! The fact the courses include the files and script for students to use and review help me double check my script for errors.

Good instructor for the Godot, Blender and all around game development.
Clear, insightful, to the point and neatly structured.
Every course has its own source code and assets that go along with the course that you can download.
A written form of the whole course and subtitles for the videos are included.

I love the format of this learning model. To further elaborate, I was very interested in finding something that could help teach coding to individuals that may have difficulties with conventional learning models. I am eager to present this to one of my grand(buddies) to see if he could learn from this... stay tuned!
