Incredible resource with real community and support
You might assume that someone as established as Seb wouldn’t be hands-on in a course like this – but that couldn’t be further from the truth. He’s very active in the community, regularly jumping in to answer questions and offer support, which makes a huge difference.
The community itself is a big part of the value. People from all over the world are involved, sharing both finished and unfinished tracks, giving feedback, and pointing each other to relevant course material. It feels collaborative and genuinely supportive.
Seb’s videos go into serious depth on each of the core elements of making a D&B tune, and you can tell he’s drawing on years of experience. The course is well suited to a wide range of experience levels. Even if you’re brand new to Ableton or DAWs in general, his step-by-step instructions make it easy to follow – and rewatching the videos at your own pace really helps things sink in. In my experience, it’s one of the best ways to learn a new piece of software.
And for more experienced producers, it contains really niche, detailed processes to help you squeeze that extra 5% out of your mix and sound design – the kind of stuff that’s hard to come by anywhere else.
Honestly, I’d recommend this to anyone serious about improving their production and being part of a real D&B-focused community.

How I Learned More in One Month Than in a Year
I’m a very new producer, and I’ve found the process of self-learning really difficult and overwhelming. Krakota’s course is streamlined and thoughtfully put together. I feel like I’ve learned more in the last month than I did in a whole year of watching YouTube tutorials. I’d highly recommend this course! 😊

Why I recommend this Academy
This academy has allowed me to fully understand why we do what we do when we make music. I’m quite fresh into producing so I don’t have the biggest understanding into a lot of things about making drum and bass, but Krakota goes into depth about every process in a way someone like me can understand. I’m not that far into the course but I can’t wait to go further into it and learn more about every process into making a polished professional sounding drum and bass track and to one day accomplish my dream of signing a track to a record label.
