The person who attended to do the repair was very polite and courteous

Abri , have always been efficient and helpful if I've needed to contact them . And also the tradesman that have done works on my home have all been brilliant 👏

Abri have been my landlord for 10+ years now and have always been helpful with my housing needs and problems.
The staff are always friendly and helpful with some going the extra mile which has been greatly appreciated.

I have recently had my guttering cleared out by Abri in preparation for the winter months

The 2 workers were very polite, professionall and respectful of my home environment

When faults are reported they always come timely and do a good job. No complaints from these tenants

I spoke to a lovely lady called Alicia (I think that was her name) regarding my rent account, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a more helpful and pleasant experience. She took the time to listen, explain everything clearly and provided me with information that I wasn’t even aware of.
She was friendly, patient and extremely helpful, and I really appreciated the time she took to make sure I understood everything. It’s so refreshing to speak to someone who genuinely wants to help.

I am a tenant of this company and have always found them quick to deal with any repairs or problems.
Recently the locking mechanism on my front door failed at a weekend and I had to request help as I was unable to lock the door properly. After a call to Abri they sent Christopher round after only a few hours, he was unable to repair the lock but managed to alter the mechanism to enable me to secure the property. Waited a few days for the new lock which was fitted by another Abri tradesman( sorry forgot his name) with little fuss and no mess.
Thank you to all concerned for a speedy and efficient service.

Hi we have lived in an abri home since 29 june 2026 when we moved in there were a few things needed repair , all have been repaired now and we were very impressed with Abri who sorted them very quickly and all of the tradesmen who come to do the repairs were very helpful and very pleasant and efficient, we were very impressed with everyone

Thank you Emily for your message but when I called customer service they didn’t process anything. And they were two police officers involved and witness that you took my belongings in the parking for me to get back. But your un professionalism it’s what you are known and stand for

I have had a five year (now) insect infestation colonisation in my home. Abri have completely failed to address it. They send a 'handyman' round to tinker with one small thing - but never address the structural issues in the property. Never assess them. They hope you just give up. Just send vacuous emails about how they can help you - it's insane - they are an insane organisation. But now I have had enough - I have reported them to Somerset Environmental Health - and will be reporting them to The Housing Ombudsman (again - I won a case against Abri about harassment/threats from one of their tenants - and Abri were fined for causing me distress). Abri are a totally inept, broken, dysfunctional toxic and dishonest organisation. They need to be broken up and dissolved so decent housing associations can take their place.

(the Abri response from 'Emily' below is totally dishonest - since 23rd August 2026 I have built up a document of 48 pages of messages and emails about this matter, mostly mine - sent to Abri and their absurd responses, and now no responses are coming - which I will be sending to the Housing Ombudsman - Abri have gone completely silent - I have sent them a 5 page survey document of the property - twice - and made a formal complaint which they are refusing to acknowledge and log - which is a further breach of their duties. They attempt to drive you insane by silly denials - but I have the evidence and the paper trail)

AVOID avoid avoid Shared Ownership there’s nothing Shared about it ! Useless customer service in understanding my issues or inquiries utterly unacceptable.
There’s nothing Shared about Shared ownership with them wish i invested my money elsewhere.

Davey who dealt with a complaint for a long time was absolutely amazing honest upfront and accepted there had been failures. Absolutely credit to the complaints team

The staff are lovely- I come often with my grandparents and have come even more often in the summer. It’s nice to come because it’s local and homey- overall incredible!

Abri could have spent around 5 minutes time and £40 for a new 300mm plastic drain cover to repair the open void in the ground.....but instead they doubled down and came back to my review on Trustpilot for a second response, just to tell me how proud and wonderful they were.

Talk about proving my point.

There's a dangerous hole in the ground, it's been there for weeks and weeks now.

Abri's cleaner has been tipping dirty water down the hole.

Anyway, I ran out of characters on my previous living with Abri review, but I do need to mention our current ongoing plight.

I live in one of Abri's flats that was built by the Berkeley group, these guys installed door length vents in both doors to the stinking bin store under my window, these vents do not have any charcoal filters to block the constant foul rotting stench of decay, that flows in through my windows.
We're currently plagued by thousands of small flies infesting the industrial bins.
Obviously I have had to have my windows open this summer in order to breathe, now I've been bitten or stung while I slept on top of the duvet.
I woke up to a red raw, puss filled boil on my back with excruciating pain.

I guess that's why they call it the blues, when tenants look at Abri's logo.

Maybe friendly helpful polite people over the phone.

But of course I will always remember them for blocking one of our fire exits, when it was wedged shut with no lock or handle, while they struggled for days to fix a new lock.

Why would anyone need to contact their team for help here, just email them like I did,
oh wait, hang on, I remember now.........

Had a good conversation/chat with Olivia while she was helping me in reporting my repairs . 11 out of 10 for customer service.

Is there any chance that someone from Abri’s senior management could respond to one of my many emails, please?

My home has been in disrepair since September 2024. In December 2025, I then suffered another major leak because a tank in my loft had been left live instead of being properly decommissioned—further negligence by Abri.

It is now August 2026. My home is still not repaired, I still cannot put my belongings back, and I am still sleeping on my lounge floor.

I believe I have emailed Gary, the Managing Director and virtually every manager involved—possibly around 100 times between them—yet nobody at senior-management level appears able to respond or telephone me. Apparently acknowledging a tenant whose home remains uninhabitable after almost two years is an unusually complicated management task.

Could somebody please arrange for a senior manager with actual authority to contact me and explain:

* What is happening;
* When my home will finally be repaired;
* Who is taking responsibility; and
* Why senior management has repeatedly ignored my requests for help?

I have tried emails, complaints and every available internal route. As those attempts have produced no meaningful response, I will not be removing this from social media. I will also be posting an honest account of my experience on Google.

I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I am asking Abri to repair the home its negligence damaged and for one senior manager to have the basic courtesy to speak to me.

Can somebody at Abri please help—or is responding to customers no longer part of the service?

I don’t know why the goverment‘s allowing them to be a social housing provider because I have no idea what they’re doing and they’re certainly not corporate. They’re just rude. They only admit of lack of communication. They have zero communication zero accountability they wouldn’t let you take your run they will take as much money off here as possible and they put your house in disrepair and they get manages to abuse you. Someone needs to get hold of me even better. The MD Gary has ignored to every communication of Cover them into or sent to him his secretary is not even replied to me and his managers don’t reply to me what they do do is all going on annual leave at the same time then they’ll divert make you out to be the problem, yeah and then they do nothing and then they come in your house and ruin your house more I’ve had four contractors and and their staff in my home still not fixed .

Abri should be having their social housing license revoked temporarily and audited due to the catastrophe of leaving people that are paying their rent not people receiving benefits people paying their rent not that she make an excuse cause everyone has the right to have repairs. They are a landlord and they are under the landlord act and they are not adhering to it. They don’t have a lack of communication. They have zero communication they divert all their issues onto their Client instead of taking any accountability of responsibility to themselves they have way too many managers they don’t know what they’re doing and they have way too many managers a tip boxes as I don’t communicate.

I have a really good experience with Abri they are hard workers and they're always nice to talk to. Last time we had problems with ceiling and the gentleman did excellent job and I'm really happy
