Ableworld - Wigan Arvostelua 

I recently bought a chair from the Wigan branch.
The service I received from the manager Peter, Danielle and Julie was absolutely brilliant they where so helpful 😀

I used this company as my dad’s stairlift wasn’t working correctly and also needed a service I was given a appt when the guy came out he hadn’t been working for the company for 3 month not much knowledge of stairlifts and had no idea , so he suggested a new chair altogether after charging for a service of the old chair !!! huge expense (when the new chair arrive week later WRONG chairs was for a outside lift ) . Which then they proceeded to try n fit , the guys had to take it away , then my dads chairlift wasn’t working at all let me add my dad CANNOT get around without this equipment . The 2nd employee then left and advised the NEW guy to fix it . Then guy then informed its in a worse state then when they started and he didn’t know what he’s doing (all this time I’m on the phone to the office ) no help at all . So dads left with no mobility and had to pay for a service which I’m not convinced he had in the first place . No call back from the office or employees who did the let’s not say job
Dad left with no idea when the chair could be fixed they just up n left basically . Disabled people put there safety in these people .
. I would NEVER recommend or use this company again

Excellent service! I bought a walking frame for my mother at the Wigan store and although it wasn't the right one for her they gave us a full refund. Will definitely shop here again if we need anything.

Went in to ableworld in wigan, i needed a lightweight scooter as got mobility problems i was very impressed with the service, how friendly and helpful julie & peter was excellent. They made me feel at ease suggested different models, had test drive, im sure they feared for there life with my driving he he got sorted out fold up scooter plane friendly,lightweight, big thank you again 🙏 best wishes jeanette xx aka madge 🦼

I visited the Ableworld store in Wigan to buy a power wheelchair with my daughter who is in her thirties. In the past year she has lost her ability to walk more than a few metre unaided. In an attempt to give her some quality of life (and dignity) it was decided a lightweight chair was the best option. I had phoned in advance to check on stock availability and was not disappointed when visiting in person. There were three members of staff, Peter, Dannelle and Julie. Danielle is about to leave to pursue a university placement. She has been replaced recently by Julie. All three are a credit to the Ableworld brand. They appeared happy and confident when talking about the products. Our questions were dealt with in an honest and direct manner. No question phased them and we could ask whatever we needed to. They were definitely customer centre focused and were keen to ensure my daughter was the one making the choices. Moreover they ensured before buying anything that she was totally happy with the product. They also ensured that my daughter was aware of the laws and safety aspects of owning and using a powered wheelchair.

If you live in the wider Wigan area and need some sort of aid or equipment for a person with health related issues I would definitely make Ableworld in Wigan a first place to visit.

I visited the Wigan store with my elderly dad who had received a voucher after having a stairlift installed, we were interested in walking aids and Peter could not have been more helpful. He was knowledgeable and patient, demonstrating each item willingly even though we were only intending spending the voucher so in effect he wasn't making a sale. He is a credit to the company and we would certainly return if we needed any other aids. My dad was very impressed with him and the service he delivered.

Easy ordering, easy tracking, delivery came when it was due. No issues whatsoever.

Two marvellous people helped me decide on a mobility scooter for my husband, they gave him confidence to used one, he raced around the store.
Peter (store manager) and Dannielle, were so friendly and had plenty of time for us and made the purchase so simple.
We are going back to buy other items there in the near future thanks to them,both.

Visited the store in Wigan today and was greeted by a lovely young lady called Danielle. My 89 yr old mum is a very petite lady and we have been struggling to find a suitable walker for her. Danielle showed us our options and carefully explained how to use the walkers and store them. I would recommend anyone to visit the store if they have need any mobility equipment. Thanks Danielle and good luck with your future.😊

Big thanks to Dannielle at Ableworld, Wigan for all her help today. I received a call back from her after calling the shop earlier this afternoon when I was seeking help to buy a walking frame for my elderly aunt. The shop had been busy and she had been unable to answer initially but called me back promptly and answered my questions thoroughly. When I later called at the shop Danielle was able to show me a variety of suitable ‘walkers’. She was knowledgeable and practical, giving very helpful advice which enabled me to buy the perfect walking aid for my Aunt which she is delighted with!
I won’t hesitate in using their services again.

The staff were very welcoming when my husband was looking for a walking stick. We didn't feel pressured to buy and we took our time choosing the one he felt most comfortable with.

Wigan Ableworld great friendly staff, very helpfull Peter and Dannielle thank you would highly recomend. Had my left leg amputated in December 2023 very much life changing and have bought a powered chair and a boot scooter and 3 ramps they were very helpfull and patient. Its a great place full of amazing things for the disabled. I would highly recomend.

I visited Ableworld in Wigan today looking to buy a walking aid for my mother. I had found this business on Google and found it had more choice and better prices than equivalent businesses in Bolton, where I live.
Excellent and knowledgeable service by the gentleman that served me and I thoroughly recommend this store.

Needed a couple of new batteries for my father in law’s scooter.
Chris at the Wigan store had them is stock, fitted them to the battery pack while we waited and she gave great advice regarding a proper charging regime to maximise performance and life span.
Would recommend 100% and we will be back when we need something else for sure.

We visited Ableworld Wigan on Saturday to look at a mobility scooter for my hubby and was assisted by an amazing lady Chris. She demonstrated the models we liked, explained how to assemble etc very simply. Matched my husband to a scooter for his height. Chris was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. Thankyou Chris for making it all so easy

I recently purchased a mobility scooter (a road scooter) from Ableworld. I would like to say thank you to Tracy from the Wigan Store. She was very professional and helpful and ensured I got the right scooter. I did not feel pressured in any way to buy it. She ran through the controls and battery care,and after a test drive I knew it was the one for me. She arranged for it to be delivered the following day. My scooter arrived the next morning. The two delivery men (Sorry but I didn't catch your names) were also very friendly and professional. They ran through all the controls with me and only left once they were sure I was fully aware how to use it. I am very pleased with the excellent service I received. Thank you to everyone for your help, I would definitely recommend Ableworld.
