THIS IS A DOOZY! THE SAGA CONTINUES...

UPDATE TO MY FIRST REVIEW OF A BETTER TRIPP MOVING & STORAGE

THEY REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR THEIR BLATANT NEGLECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone has read my first review of A Better Tripp Moving & Storage. They responded again with LIES so I want to answer this. I have nothing to gain by reviewing them now other than I hope no one else gets screwed by these monsters. My responses are in BOLD. FYI, I have ALL my documentation and receipts to disprove what they are saying.

We take all feedback seriously, but we must firmly correct the false and defamatory claims made in this review. THIS IS A LIE. WHAT IS DEFAMATORY IS THAT YOU ARE SAYING (A CUSTOMER THAT PAID YOU OVER $20K FOR A MOVE) IS I LIED ABOUT A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE YOUR MOVERS CAUSED.

First and foremost, we have signed documentation from your husband clearly declining the additional insurance coverage. This was not a misunderstanding—this form is part of our standard procedure and is signed before any move begins. Your suggestion that we refused to provide coverage is untrue. THIS WAS NOT A MISUNDERSTANDING. WE HAD YOUR COMPANY TO OUR HOUSE TO MAKE SURE THEY COULD HANDLE OUR COLLECTIBLES AND VALUABLES IN ADVANCE. YOU PROMISED YOUR A-TEAM, INSTEAD WE WERE SENT A CONTRACTED MOVER WHO HAD THE NERVE TO BRING A WIFE OF ONE OF THE MOVERS WHO WAS NOT QUALIFIED TO PACK OUR VALUABLES. WE ASKED MULTIPLE TIMES HOW TO GET THE EXTRA INSURANCE AND HE NEVER MENTIONED THAT IT WAS EMBEDDED IN THE PAPER WORK. I ASKED. THIS IS CALL F-R-A-U-D. WE ALSO HAVE THE TEXT MESSAGE ASKING YOUR ACCOUNT MANAGER TO ADD THE EXTRA INSURANCE TO THE MOVE BEFORE THE MOVE HAPPENED. WHY DID YOU LIE AND SAY YOU WOULD SETTLE WITH US AND TO CALL YOUR THIRD PARTY INSURANCE? WAS IT TO TRICK US? EITHER WAY WE HAVE ALL THE PROOF REGARDING OUR REQUEST TO GET THE EXTRA INSURANCE AND YOU SHOULD HAVE WANTED US TO GIVEN THE EXENT OF OUR VALUABLE ITEMS YOU SAW PRE-MOVE.

Additionally, we have documented proof that at least one of the items you reported as damaged—your couch—was previously involved in a separate flood-related insurance claim. Yet you attempted to claim it again. This is a serious issue, and we have records to support our position. False or duplicate claims are not only inappropriate but undermine the credibility of the claims process for everyone. THIS IS ALSO A LIE. I ADMITTED THIS MYSELF. HOWEVER, IT WAS MILDLY DAMAGED AND I WAS GOING TO STILL USE IT. MY INSURANCE DID NOT REQUIRE ME TO DISPOSE OF IT. I REALIZED WHEN WE FIRST MADE THE CLAIM THAT IT WAS IN THERE AND I HAVE THE EMAIL WHERE I REMOVED IT OUT SO YOU ARE A LIAR. I NEVER INTENTIONALLY CLAIMED THAT. I DID THE RIGHT THING AND REMOVED IT FROM THE CLAIM. IT STILL COST ME $5,000 TO RECOVER THE COUCH TO USE IT. I HAVE THE INSURANCE CLAIM STATING THAT IT WAS UNDERNEATH WHERE THE DAMAGE WAS NOT ON THE TOP. IT WAS THE LEATHER - FROM NOT USING BLANKETS AND ONLY PLASTIC WRAP - THAT WAS SEVERELY DAMAGED. I HAVE PHOTOS AND THE RECEIPT TO SHOW THIS. WHAT IS YOUR EXPLANATIONON ALL THE OTHER ITEMS? NONE OF THESE WERE CLAIMED ON MY FLOOD INSURANCE CLAIM AND NONE WERE PREVIOUSLY DAMAGED. YOU HAVE NO PROOF OF THIS. I HAVE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES OF EVERY ITEM. THE SAD PART IS THAT I LOST SO MANY THINGS IN MY FLOOD AND THESE BOZOS HAVE THE NERVE TO RE-VICTIMIZE ME. OF COURSE ITEMS WERE DAMAGED IN THE MOVE, WHY WOULD I EVER TAKE THE TIME TO WRITE A REVIEW LIKE THIS OTHERWISE? IF ANYONE HAS MADE A FALSE CLAIM, IT IS YOU WHO CLEARLY SAYS YOU USE YOUR OWN MOVERS ON THE WEBSITE AND WANTED TO RIP US OFF FOR $$$ MOVE BY USING SUBSTANDARD HELP.

Our company has operated with professionalism and integrity for over three decades, and we will continue to uphold those standards. YEAH SURE, I HAVE SEEN THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE TO COMPLAIN. YOU HAD NO MATERIALS TO PACK FRAGILE ITEMS - OTHER THAN PAPER. YOUR MOVERS ALLOWED A WIFE OF A MOVER TO PACK OUR VALUABLES - EVEN AFTER PRE-SHOWING YOU THE ITEMS. WE INVITED YOU TO COME AND SEE OUR DAMAGED ITEMS AND YOU REFUSED TO. ALSO, YOUR CONTRACT MOVER DID NOT TURN OVER THE PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGED ITEMS - THAT IS UNETHICAL. YOU THOUGHT YOU WOULD TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY AND RUN OUT THE CLOCK FULLY KNOWING THE STATUTES OF LIMITATIONS. WHY WOULD YOU HAVE US CALL A FAKE PERSON THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY YOUR THIRD-PARTY INSURANCE REP TO HELP US? YOU KNEW FULL WELL THAT YOU WERENT GOING TO MAKE THIS RIGHT!

Moving to a new home is always challenging and exhausting, but A Better Tripp made my move efficient and less stressful! Melvin was outstanding in helping me with moving arrangements and ensuring everything went well. I can’t say enough positive remarks about the crew, they were professional and experienced! We often hear stories of things being miss handled and damaged in moves. All of my furniture and boxes were moved without issue. Nothing was broken. Attention to detail was paid regarding my wine refrigerator, Peloton bike and artwork. I’m so grateful. I highly recommend A Better Tripp to others.

I used A Better Tripp to move antiques. They wrapped the furniture so carefully and the truck arrived on time. Overall a stress free, flawless move. Will definitely use A Better Tripp again!

This was the second time we used A Better Tripp & they were fantastic again! Their team works hard to make the move quick while also taking care of your belongings. Mike & his team are top notch...we'll move again in a year & we will definitely use A Better Tripp for a third time!

Your crew had a very positive, upbeat, “can do” attitude”. It was over 100 degrees and they never slowed down or took a break, even when I asked them to rest. I would call them again in a heart beat

I’m convinced the moving of items to two different locations could not have been done more efficiently.

I would whole heartedly recommend this moving company. I called on a Monday for service by Wednesday. I had to move items to two different locations and the company obliged with utmost professionalism. The movers were polite, proficient, professional and very expedient. Not one item was damaged as all belongings were carefully packaged.
This moving company provided the best experience, and I would definitely use their services again if the need arises in the future.

The movers carefully wrapped all my furniture and placed things where I asked.

This summer has been hot but that isn’t slowing down the hard workers. The day we/they packed up, it was a heat index of a 112 but the never slowed down. Packing the truck was a talent on its own and so impressive. Couldn’t have made this move without them.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

This company is absolutely excellent. Their pricing is straight-up fair. They arrive with experienced people who know what they're doing. They treat your belongings very well and are efficient. They do what they say they will do and on time. No need to go anywhere else. The bigger companies will not treat you as well as A Better Tripp.

They were so nice easy. I called, we scheduled it, called again to add a stop to pick something up, a few more logistical call and that was that. Furniture arrived beautifully.

Moved from Texas to Bay Area. Service was efficient and timelines were as promised. Packing was extensive with lots of fragile China, Chrystal, and artwork. No breakage. People were friendly and worked hard. Very satisfied.

Have used a better Tripp twice for long distance moves(Texas to California)each time the guys unload everything into the appropriate rooms, much of it fragile. Not a single thing has arrived broken or even dented. Cannot recommend enough. They worked with limited business hours on the texas end and remembered the previous trip once they saw the house and neighborhood.even though it had been a year.

We arranged for Tripp to move some items from our home in Houston and ship them to two sons now living in California, one in SF the other in LA, Tripp staff picked them up, moved them carefully into their truck. Staff was polite, friendly and willing to take extra steps to ensure timely delivery of all items.

It’s my second time using them and I’ll happily use them again. Professional, thoughtful/careful and an accurate estimate.

Good communication during the quote process however, they did not provide with an accurate estimated date. Bad communication during shipping and transportation. It was very expensive for just a 144 cu.sqft. the majority of my belongings got here safe and sound, some stuff did get bumped and minor damaged.

The proccess of finding good team to out of state moves was really hard. But these guys gave their best. Overall it was ok

Professional, on-time, easy to schedule Excellence delivery. To a person all very nice to work with.

I have had great experiences each tim I have selected A Better Tripp to move my family. I have used A Better Tripp 5 times since 2000. I have been extremely pleased on each move due to their outstanding service and attention to detail. I would highly recommend
A Better Tripp to anyone to who wants a reliable moving company lat a fair price.
