The 21Degrees installed roof solar panels, battery and associated electrics for me. Scaffolding was also arranged by them. Team arrived promptly on the day and completed the installation to an excellent standard, they was also happy to move a water pipe to provide an ideal location for the battery at no extra cost. I found 21 degrees to be excellent value for money compared to other quotes. Really impressed with the team from start to finish. Would definitely recommend them for similar work.

The 21 deg team are very knowledgeable & provide excellent support & advice about the low energy products they sell, which are some of the best available on the market. They are our first port-of-call when sourcing window & doors, air-tightness products & MVHR systems.

In January 2025 my solar panels stopped working. These had been installed by Go Eco in 2020 and this was the first problem I had incurred. After two engineer visits it was deemed I needed a replacement part which they were going to order and replace as a matter of urgency, since then I have heard nothing I have rang and they never answer the phone, I have left messages and nobody responds, I have sent emails and no replies, I contacted several people higher up than the service team and they didn't respond either. I also paid upfront for 7 years service contract and have had 5 up to now and since the service team has vanished and there is no way of contacting them I don't hold much hope of getting the last two years service done. Therefore I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone which is a shame because Go Eco under John Gilham had an excellent service, the customer service is none existent now.

I recently contacted 21 Degrees for advice on installing a heat pump, solar panels, and a battery system at my property.

Although I’m outside their installation area, the person I spoke to was incredibly polite and took the time to answer all my questions in detail. They even gave me some helpful tips on what to look for when choosing a local installer. It's rare to come across a company so willing to help, even when there's nothing in it for them.

Based on this experience, I would highly recommend 21 Degrees as a knowledgeable and trustworthy company.

I got in touch with 21 Degrees to ask about their windows and MVHR systems. I'm not quite ready to place an order yet, but after speaking with the team, I will definitely be returning to them when the time comes. They clearly know their stuff.

After originally using go eco (amazing service and company), it seems this 21 degrees have bought them out.
I am having trouble with a noisy heat pump, I can’t sleep with the window open as too loud and my neighbours have mentioned the same. Took weeks for anyone to get back to me, they came out and said they needed to buy a devise that records the level of volume and would be back in touch. Over 6 week later with emails and calls not responded too I am still non the wiser!
Not sure if it is because I was originally from another company or because I’m not buying something from them, but the service is the poorest I have ever experienced! So many more companies that provide this sort of equipment, I suggest you look for a different one if you want any after sale service at all!

I really was impressed by how knowledgeable the team are. These guys really know their stuff and aren't just trying to sell products, unlike a lot of companies. They prefer that their customers get the best product that fits their needs.

From start to finish, our experience with 21 Degrees has been outstanding.

We had previously dealt with the company under their former name, Green Building Store so had no reservations about using them again. We dealt with the same windows team, received the same one on one bespoke customer service, were able to purchase the same fantastic products and have them fitted by the same skilled fitter who left everything neat and tidy.

Our triple glazed windows and doors look fantastic and feel incredibly solid and secure. Furthermore, our old cottage is far from airtight but it really has made a huge difference to the warmth in our home and helped us have better control of humidity.

Highly recommend the company.

A few years ago, we had battery storage installed by Green Building Renewables. More recently, a firmware update was causing an error and we needed some help. The company are now called 21 Degrees. Their support was excellent—clear, responsive, and the issue was resolved within minutes. As a company they now offer a broader range of products. We're considering some upgrades to our property and we'll definitely be in touch with them when we are ready.

First class service from 21 degrees. The communication from the office was always prompt and informative. The lads doing the install couldn’t have been better. They were friendly, courteous, neat, and explained everything they were doing.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

21 degrees supplied and installed the triple glazed windows and doors into my house during a wider retrofit project. Communications with the team have been excellent throughout and their aftersales service is second-to-none! The windows and doors are fantastic quality and are helping make the house so cosy and secure. The panelled door has transformed the appearance of the house and has made a huge improvement.

Excellent service under Green build but since is going to 21° not happy with the service an arrange for a service on my heat pump to be advised there was no engineers to do the work. I then email back to say if there is no engineers are there no longer Providing new heat pumps still no response

Our heat pump was installed initially by Go-Eco who couldn't have been better. Great service, good communications, very happy customers. Fast forward to now and the subsequent takeover by Green building renewables and then the rebrand to 21 degrees and the service is now appalling. We have a contract with them for servicing and we have had terrible service from them. The main engineer is great (and tells me he is leaving) but the rest of team are hopeless. Our heat pump has been not working properly for nearly three months and they were supposed to fix it today but then an hour beforehand they inform me someone ordered the wrong part and they don't know how long it will take to have the right one sent out.
We will be looking elsewhere once the contract ends next year.

£25k spent with original company Go Eco, which changed to Green Building Renewables. No problems with these, good service. Since becoming 21 Deg, poor. Service booked for said HP, no one turns up and no communication why. Told to find an alternative an alternative supplier.

Used this company when they were Green Building Renewables, to fit a battery to our solar pv system. Getting the quote seemed fine and we were keen to use a local company - they had recently done a Solar PV installation for our next door neighbour. The install was not without issue. The installer somehow managed to drill from the outside, through the brickwork, through the cavity, through the plasterboard and into the internal room! He wasn't far off electrical cables coming up from a plug. He also left the driveway in a disgraceful state with sharp offcuts in an area where two small kids play. I informed them and they apologised. I meanwhile set about redecorating the damaged wall. He also complained to us when fitting that the battery was too heavy for a one man job - not sure that was anything to do with us?!
Following the install, every time we went on holiday the battery would fill up and then the system would shut down. This took 3 visits by engineers who all diagnosed the issue differently, until one finally made a change that seems to have fixed it. Each time it happened we lost income from generation payments, having spent thousands on the battery itself.
Fast-forward a couple of years and I needed a copy of some paperwork regarding the battery install that I couldn't find and got in touch with them to ask if they could help. No response to my emails. In the end I found the original.
Then, I needed to get my generation meter replaced with an upgraded meter. Rang up the office, spoke to Daniel who abruptly told me to email him and he would come back to me. I did so, and got nothing in return not even an acknowledgement of the email. This was two weeks ago. Sent another email this time with my phone number added. No response. I also used the online form to request a quote for the job. No response. In the meantime I contacted another local company with good reviews. In the two weeks that I have had zero response from 21 degrees, this other company have provided a quote, answered all my questions about FIT eligibility, and attended this morning to replace the meter. Very helpful fitters who left no mess behind. I don't know what has happened to Green Building Renewables / 21 degrees, perhaps they have outgrown themselves. But the complete disregard they seem to show for existing customers is appalling. At some point in the next few years there is every chance I could upgrade my solar PV installation and/or install a Heat Pump. For the sake of not bothering to respond to me about a £200 job or some paperwork, they've now lost my business and looking at their reviews, I'm not the only one. I could never recommend these guys whatsoever.

Had a powerwall and 10kw of solar installed at my property. Rowan the surveyor was excellent from the get go answering all my questions and even sourced the particular panels that I wanted biracial ones as they are much more efficient and not much more cost than standard. The team at main office especially Natalie handled all the paperwork and obtained the permission from the DNO. All went very smoothly from start to finish.
Install team were good lads had four there most days as had a slate roof so took a while for the install.

Good handover set up Tesla app etc with me before leaving.

Performance of system is excellent even in getting excellent results bill reduced from £9 a day to £1.50 a day now. Well worth doing a great company to deal with.
