Worst Ever Purchase Experience.
55inch oled TV. Worst purchasing experience.

My tv couldn't get repaired under the currys care plan and was offered a egift card. Confirmation was given on the Thursday and the text with the details arrived on the Monday. So far so good.
Monday afternoon ordered a tv with the vouchers and put some extra cash towards it and received confirmation that I could pick it up from my local currys that day. Later on, to my surprise, received an email saying the order was cancelled. Following a lengthy wait on the phone i was informed that because the order might not have been ready they cancelled it. I haven't a clue why they didn't just inform me I would have to wait another day. Went to order again BUT, because I had used the egift card there wasn't any funds showing. Another lengthy call to (lack of) customer services i was informed i would have to wait at least 24 hours for the card to be re-creditted. To my surprise the funds were back on the following afternoon.
This time, I went on to online chat to obtain a price guarantee code which I received, but told I would have to wait until the following day...unless I purchase now and he could refund straight away. Although I couldn't understand why he couldn't do it prior I proceeded and gave him my order number only to be told that part of the refund would be egift card. Unacceptable! If I had a discount I would have paid £340 but without i paid £550, therefore 210 in cash refund. I wasn't informed it would have to be split and there was nothing he could do, therefore, I relentlessly had to cancel the order only to be told I would have to wait 72 hours for a new gift card. Now all the prices have gone up and have been advised to "maybe wait til Easter!!!!!"
How hard is it to buy a tv?
