When I woke up to find I'd got a flat tyre, I didn't expect that Balfe's would be able to fit in repairing this the same day, especially as it was a Sunday. But to my delight they did, and it was ready for me to collect in an hour or so. The cost was low and well worth it.

Quick delivery of items as ordered - just in time for my friend's birthday.

I initially raised a query about the item I wanted over the phone, and the staff member to whom I spoke was polite and helpful. When I later ordered, everything went smoothly and the item was delivered on schedule.

I really like the fact that I feel I can always go in and ask about anything which might indicate a problem, and they'll advise me (although I've been riding a bike for 69 years, I'm still clueless about how to maintain the poor thing). They never put pressure on me to have further work done, or buy some new part, unless it's a safety issue and really needed. I always get my bike serviced there, and recently, a few weeks after a service, something went wrong - which probably had nothing to do with the service - but they looked at it and put it right, with no charge.

Three things:
1) They checked with me before carrying out replacements of items which would cost over and above the basic service fee
2) They did a good job
3) When there was a small hiccup with a rubbing brake which developed several days after, they rapidly fixed this then and there when I dropped in (albeit it was only 8 a.m.!)

Once again, good support from Pet Plan in yet another of my five ageing cats who's needed treatment (an ear infection this time - so far I've had cats with urinary tract problems (major, and repeated), mouth/teeth conditions, and one old boy with congestive heart failure who has absolutely no intention of giving up on life). Yes, their premiums are high because of their age, and the excess is higher, but believe me, the insurance is still worth it.

I am delighted with the 'Octasmart' mattress topper (with free pillow) which I purchased from Dormeo. The price (admittedly in a sale) was excellent, the service good, and although I'd expected to need a bit of time to get used to the different 'feel' of memory foam, I felt comfortable from the very first night.

Although I only use my bike for fairly short local trips, it's both a mobility aid and an exercise device (I've had two knee replacements) and I always ask Balfe's to do a thorough service once a year to ensure it's fully safe to ride. As usual, it's come back offering a much smoother ride, with the reassurance that everything's in full working order. It's also a lot cleaner than it looked before!

All the staff were very polite and helpful, but I was especially impressed by the doctor who carried out my scan and talked me through the images. He was very thorough and I felt completely confident in his assessments - and delighted by the positive findings! As a woman in her mid-70s, I think a scan is a worthwhile investment both to pick up anything that may be wrong at an early stage, and also to provide great peace of mind if nothing IS wrong!

The item I needed was easy to find and, as I was lucky enough to find it at sale price, cost quite a bit less than on competitor sites.

Excellent variety of goods on offer, with good information provided. All those I've purchased so far have been very satisfactory and delivery is reliable.

As usual, excellent service from Hermes. I'd planned to be in for the delivery so hadn't left any 'safe place' instructions, but was unexpectedly delayed. I was delighted to get home and find that the driver had used their initiative and my parcel was safely stashed by my door, under a windowsill and well concealed by a bag of cat litter - good thinking. The parcel was in perfect condition.

Until I checked out the website of one of my local bookshops, Chener Books, I didn't even know Bookstore existed - and boy, was I glad to find that I could order books online and benefit my local providers too! The 'lockdown' closure of libraries was driving me to distraction - when moving into a studio flat I got rid of four huge crates of books and vowed to keep only ones I could happily re-read often, and not keep hitting bookshops and charity shops for more. But reading on line just isn't the same as a proper paper BOOK so to find a range of short story anthologies, great for everlasting 'pick up, put down' reading was a joy. And they were delivered quickly, safely and within the promised timeframe.

The TV I ordered came within a few days (I'd not specified) and I got emails letting me know the delivery date and time - which was met. What I liked best, though, was the quick and easy set-up instructions (OK, I didn't go through the full Smart TV/internet connection side because I didn't particularly want to use this immediately, just the TV). I'm not very technically minded, but within minutes I'd got the TV side fully set up and was delighted by the quality of the picture and sound. There was also a very detailed instruction booklet for future use - I've not tackled this yet! (Also, given my good experience with Curry's tech support on my computer, I suspect I can get help from them if I hit any glitches)

I dealt with a solicitor from Anthony Gold both as a recipient of a legacy and also for drawing up my own Will. I found them efficient, courteous and helpful.

The locksmith who came was brilliant - swift to arrive, phoned me to let me know once he was ten minutes away, and got me in very quickly. I thought the price was fair, too, for a Sunday morning call out.
