Customer services is shocking

Customer services is absolutely shocking and didn’t deliver on the date I paid for.
So, I paid extra for my order to arrive quickly on a selected day. On that day my order was still at their factory and not dispatched. All customer services said was “sorry it’s out of their control”.
So I paid extra money for a service I did not receive, not even an offer of refunding the extra postage I paid for a service I did not get. May as well go to a shop and post it yourself if you want it to arrive on a set date.

10 days, not arrived, no refund

10 days since ordering and still not arrived. Won’t refund yet as not been long enough. Why do companies use EVRI to try and deliver there parcels.

While our couriers generally maintain a high success rate, there are occasional situations beyond our control that can disrupt this process, and it appears this is one of those instances. Please rest assured that our team is diligently working to resolve this matter and is currently in communication with the carrier. We truly apologize if the process feels lengthy. As a retailer, we have to allow our carriers time to investigate all delivery issues.

Please remember that we also provide delivery options with Royal Mail; should you choose to shop with us again, feel free to request a carrier change by reaching out to our customer service team after placing your order. They will be more than happy to assist you with this at no additional cost.

All good until you want a refund

Have used Sports shoes for years and spent loads of money with them. However this time I had to return an item for a refund due to the sizing being completely wrong. I wanted a refund and know I had to pay for the return postage. However why does it take so long for a refund? You can take the money from my account in seconds when I buy something, however when something is returned I’m told I won’t get it for about 10 days. It’s the first refund I have ever asked for and as a loyal customer I would have expected a quicker refund. Very poor time for a refund hence the one star review. Also I still have not had an email saying they have received my return even though it was delivered by Royal Mail a few days ago.

We are unable to issue refunds until an item has physically been checked by our team, we can process exchanges in advance for future reference. Meaning you wouldn't be waiting as long. With regards to this return, it will be processed shortly for you. Apologies once again this has taken longer than expected.

Pay extra for named day delivery so I’m…

Pay extra for named day delivery so I’m in when parcel arrives and yet again I’m let down by them. Ask them to tell EVRi that I no longer want item but told I won’t get a refund until EVRi return it to them so I’m now out of pocket until probably next year when EVRi return it.
Dont offer a service and get customers to pay extra for it if you can not honour it. And before you reply with how busy EVRi are they are constantly late with parcels and have been for years, they even changed their name as they are that bad. You will lose customers if this type of service continues.

We promise to do absolutely everything we can to ensure you receive your order within the time frame specified. Our couriers have a 97.8% accuracy for their 24 hour service and a 98% accuracy for their standard service but on rare occasions there are events beyond our control that result in your parcel being delayed or missing in transit whilst it is with the courier.

Our courier team has confirmed delivery with you via email.

Terrible delivery service by EVRi

Terrible delivery service by EVRi. Why companies use them is beyond me. No other choice online for another courier. After years of ordering from you and spending lots of money I will be taking my custom elsewhere so I get my items as stated. Delivery problems with my last 3 orders and one which still has not arrived. No refund as you keep saying you are still waiting for a response from EVRi.
A shame a company loses customers because of its bad couriers.

Please bear in that due to Royal Mail strike action over the last week, many courier companies are currently hitting maximum parcel capacity which is effecting delivery in various regions across the UK.

Let down by there delivery service yet again.

Don’t get me wrong, the prices are great at Sportsshoes. However the problem lies with their deliveries. No option online to use another courier company, and the company they use “Evri” are absolutely where I live. My orders still have not arrived so will be using a different supplier going forward until Sportsshoes provide another option online for the delivery of my goods.

Paid for next day delivery as needed…

Paid for next day delivery as needed item for event. Tried to get refund as item did not arrive in time but was refused. Item arrived after 9 days (not exactly the next day delivery I paid for) and after the event I ordered it for.
Refused refund.
