Poor Product

Bought 1RH3TTDW0D1W countertop dishwasher. After 2 uses it had an awful vibration so returned to Amazon. After buying a second we plugged it in and came up with an immediate error code. Just shows that buying a name you think you can trust is not always the best.way.

Harassment

Had a browse on red letter days today 23 December 2025 and have been harassed and bombarded by emails ever since. I have unsubscribed and even blocked but they continue to come. It's disgraceful!

Th final email came at 0405am in total receiving 89 emails over a 9 hour pariod and all you do is send a generic email response. Shows what company you are

Poor quality after 3 months and in the bin

Ordered a three set for my son back in August. Come November they are in the bin with huge holes in the back. Bought step one at the same time that are still going strong. For nearly £40 not worth the money at all.

Ordered a Front door canopy from B&Q…

Ordered a Front door canopy from B&Q and it came from here, I want Wallpaper. It had 8 missing screws and to try and get this rectified seems to have been an epic journey. They provide a telephone number that just tell you they don't accept calls. I have emailed and you don't even get an automatic response. Very poor in todays day and age.

Order from AMAZON

I purchased a front door canopy, which was delivered promptly. However, when I opened the package on the first suitable day to fit it, I discovered that 8 screws were missing.

I contacted the B&Q helpline expecting support, but my call was routed to a centre overseas. After explaining the problem, I was told that my order had been fulfilled by a marketplace seller and that B&Q could not help me directly. I was then transferred and left on hold for more than 50 minutes listening to repetitive music, with no resolution.

I have since been informed that the only way to contact the seller (“I Want Wallpaper”) is by email, and that I must wait up to 24 hours for a reply. Realistically, this means I may not receive the missing screws for up to 14 days. For a simple issue such as missing parts, this is unacceptable.

In my opinion, because I placed the order via the B&Q app, B&Q is my service provider and should take responsibility for resolving the problem. Being passed off to a third-party seller undermines the trust I have in the B&Q brand. Had I known that my order would be managed in this way, I would have purchased elsewhere.

Poor Communication, I felt I was begging them!

I would not reccomend them at all. They contacted me for a will review out of the blue. I had the review over teams. I was told the price being over £600 for will that did have some complications. I was told there was a payment plan available and asked for more details. I emailed several times and always got a sorry, waiting for my manager. It felt like i was begging tem to take on my work! Eventually i was informed i needed to fill a direct debit form to start paying. I had not even had any details about the payment plan. I gave in and eventually someone else got in touch and offered me a 20% discount £522 paying over 10 months. I decided due to lack of trust to not continue with this company.

Potential scammers

We had a puncture on th A38 just outside Lichfield. The AA attended and performed an emergency repair. We were given limited mileage and speed limit. I checked Google and the first company was F1. I proceeded to click on the same day fitting link and provided the relevant details and gave the postcode to the Lichfield branch.

It had the following in stock with the earliest timeslot at 1215: F1Autocentres.com 88H XL 185/60HR15 £60.78.

I called the branch to see if I could get it fitted any earlier be told this was not correct 'they don't stock all the tyres or they would have no place to work'. I advised the gent for I had clicked the same day fitting link but he still said this was not right. He claimed the only stock they had was over £90.

I am bemused, if I had gone ahead with the booking and paid £60.78 what would have been the outcome?

Either way it's brand that I have attempted to used and will not try to use again. I found the whole verbal interaction to be dishonest.

First & Last stay, With not the Best Western

This was my first stay at a Best Western hotel, and I’m not sure I’d be in a hurry to return.

Valley Hotel (Ironbridge)

Check-in was smooth, though most of it was completed online beforehand. On arrival, the room felt underwhelming. The tea and coffee tray was fine, but there was only one bottle of water provided for two guests. Something as simple as one per person would have met expectations. The décor in places could do with touching up, and cables had been crudely tacked along the wall. The bed initially seemed comfortable, but more on that later.

We had dinner in the restaurant and couldn’t fault the food or service. Breakfast was also tasty and well presented, with friendly staff. Unfortunately, the experience was disrupted when the fire alarm went off. Guests were directed outside, but no headcount was done at the assembly point, and upon returning I noticed that no staff had directed anyone to the nearest emergency exit. This felt concerning from a safety perspective.

The lack of soundproofing was a real issue. We could hear absolutely everything from the neighbouring room, from light switches and the toilet seat to conversations and even the bathroom fan that ran constantly. Once in bed, the pillows proved very poor, offering no support and resulting in a restless night. The information pack stated extra pillows were available in the wardrobe, but this wasn’t the case, so we had to call reception for more. Unfortunately they were just as uncomfortable.

The bathroom was also disappointing. The shower was awkwardly positioned under a sloping ceiling, meaning I kept hitting my head. The complimentary toiletries were basic and felt cheap.

There are no lifts in the hotel, so be prepared for stairs. Around the property, at the bar, reception, and even on the back of the room door, there were QR codes and tap-to-pay devices for staff tips. While I appreciate staff recognition, the presentation felt overbearing and somewhat off-putting.

Overall, the food and service in the restaurant were excellent, but the room, noise issues, poor sleep quality, and safety concerns significantly let the experience down. Unfortunately, a comfortable night’s rest is the main reason we stayed, and on that front the hotel failed to deliver.

Fantastic, the third emergency service

Ended up with a flat tyre just off the A38. Used the app and went through to the call centre as we were in an unsafe place. Chris arrived within 40 minutes, he made an emergency repair and off we went to get a new tyre. Fantastic service :-)

Not what it all seems

Very disappointed with our Jet2 package holiday. The “all inclusive” is not what it seems. On arrival, nothing included on the first night. On departure day, we had to check out at 12pm and were left with no food or drinks for 6 hours while waiting for the transfer. To be fair, the hotel did agree as a goodwill gesture to give us drinks until 3pm – but after that, even water was charged at €3 a bottle. Outrageous when you’ve paid for all inclusive.

Raised this with Jet2 and was told it’s “in the terms and conditions” and that we chose the flight times so it’s beyond their control. Sorry, but that’s not good enough. Surely Jet2 need to come to some agreement with hotels to cover guests properly, given how much we pay for these packages.

Right now, it feels like a con – you don’t actually get what you’ve paid for, and Jet2 seem happy to hide behind small print.

Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be booking again.

Poor standard set!

I was asked by DRIVE to remove the registration number of the incompetent driving instructor who does not use any mirrors. Pulled out from lane one to lane two which caused me to brake harshly and impeded the flow of traffic. Not the standard of a professional or teacher. Very poor. And yes the car only had the instructor in it.

Customer care¿ What customer care!

Well always the reviews first. I reached out to EDF by looking at the contacts by the App. Apparently you can contact them by WhatsApp, Text Massage and Email. I on my first occasion tried all three and not one method was responded tom eventually phoned and they answered. I then had issues with my smart meters and in home display. The in home display is of poor quality and after going on 20 the has still does not show or work. I received an email on how to rest the inn home dispay. And yet it still does not work. I was asked to email when I had completed the reset and suprise l, no can be arsed to reply. The lack of customer support and lack of care is very clear, stay away from this sham of a company

Great Experience

I recently visited the Vodafone store at Meadowhall and had a fantastic experience. Samantha, who assisted me, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain my upgrade options and even managed to secure a better price than what was showing on the app—something I really appreciated! Her product knowledge was excellent, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

Beyond that, the store always has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, which makes visiting a pleasant experience. I’ve always found the staff to be approachable and willing to go the extra mile. Based on my experience, I’d definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for great customer service and expert advice.

Rubbish

I had a disappointing experience with this product. It failed to pair as expected, and the customer service team was slow to respond to my inquiries. After a lengthy back-and-forth process that involved providing extensive information, I was finally able to arrange a return and receive a full refund. While the return process was ultimately successful, it felt unnecessarily cumbersome. Overall, I cannot recommend this product or the customer service based on my experience.

Family Holiday

Our family holiday to Benidorm with Jet2 was a mixed experience, with both highs and some areas for improvement. The flight out was smooth, and the pre-ordered chicken dinner for my son was hot, tasty, and hit the spot. The cabin crew were friendly and professional, making the journey enjoyable.

Unfortunately, our welcome at Alicante was disappointing. The Jet2 representative seemed uninterested and didn’t greet us with much warmth. We received our welcome pack and transport card, but there was definitely a lack of friendliness. Fortunately, the coach was ready, and we soon headed to our hotel, though we were the last stop at Hotel Mediterano.

We met our resort rep Jessica on Wednesday, who was great. She was helpful, approachable, and had a wonderful sense of humor. The hotel was good value, but our trip took a challenging turn when my mum had a fall. We reached out to Jet2 through WhatsApp for assistance, and while they responded quickly, the follow-up communication was lacking. Although they guided us on where to seek medical help, getting in touch with a local rep was slow, and it seemed like their schedule might delay assistance for days. This was frustrating, but the hotel staff stepped in and helped us find medical support.

For our return, I requested special assistance for my mum, which Jet2 arranged quickly via WhatsApp. The special assistance service at Alicante airport was excellent, although it was slower and less efficient once back in the UK.

Our flight home was on a 7-year-old 737, which was well-maintained, and the crew once again provided great service. The flight ran on time, and we even landed ahead of schedule.

Overall, I would recommend Jet2 for their flights, some friendly staff, and efficiency. However, if you need assistance overseas, there’s definitely room for improvement in communication and support from the local rep team.

This is far from what I expected

This is far from what I expected. My deliveries are handled by Yodel, and not once have they followed my instructions. On the very first delivery, they even left the package inside my bin! While some of the recipes are great, the pork mince is terrible. My parents even found bone in theirs, which has completely put me off continuing my subscription.

As a returning customer, I was supposed to receive free puddings for life— but only if you remember to confirm your order. In my last order, I forgot to confirm, so I received recipes I won’t eat and didn’t even get the pudding. When I reached out online, their response was indifferent.

I’ve also noticed that the fresh meat has a very short shelf life, and some of the vegetables, like peppers, need to be used immediately.

This could be a much better experience, but unfortunately, they don’t seem to listen to feedback or make any effort to resolve issues.

Update:
I did reach out via your chat function prior to cancelling my subscription who didn't not offer any reassurance about quality or service. Your replie seem to be very generic which clearly shows you don't care.

They deliver but don't follow instructions

Yodel delivers my HelloFresh orders, but they never seem to follow the safe place instructions when I’m not home. They were also an hour early from the scheduled delivery slot. The first time, they left the package at the bottom of my recycling bin. Most recently, it was left right by my front door, in plain sight for anyone to see or take. While they do manage to deliver, I’m giving them 2 stars for consistently ignoring the delivery instructions and arriving outside the specified time window.

Smashing customer service and sleep

We purchased our new bed and bedding with the help of Edmar, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Ed was friendly and went above and beyond to impress us.

Months later, the bed is still incredibly comfortable, and we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Delivery was prompt, and the team was respectful of both our property and the goods.

Overall, we have no complaints—everything was perfect.

Over Priced Battery and customer care

I’ve been a prime member of The AA since 1996, and my partner is also on the membership. I’ve always regarded The AA as a reliable service, not a company out to overcharge.

Unfortunately, we recently faced an issue when our car wouldn't start. We called The AA for home start assistance, but it took about two hours for a patrol to arrive. Upon inspection, the patrol informed my partner that the battery wasn't holding a charge and offered a replacement for £328. Meanwhile, the same battery was available at National Tyres for £215. While I understand National Tyres wouldn’t have been able to get us back on the road immediately, the price difference seemed excessive.

When I emailed to raise a complaint about the cost, I was met with a dismissive response from customer relations, who essentially told me to stop complaining. She also claimed that, due to GDPR regulations, she couldn’t discuss the issue with me since my partner had arranged the breakdown service. I pointed out that by sending the formal response to my partner, The AA was actually breaching GDPR themselves. After that, The AA simply stopped responding.

It’s disappointing to see The AA charging inflated prices just to get members back on the road. After 28 years of loyalty, I’m left questioning whether it's worth staying with them.
