I ordered twice with this company, first, a simple lense went well and no issues. I ordered a progressive lens in my second order. It has been a few months and still haven't received my order as they don't seem to be able to work out the design of the glass based on their methods. So not sure if the methods work. I am consiidering to request a refund and return of my frame.

If you had ordered progressive lenses this time around, we would have requested a photo so that we can measure the fitting heights for the lenses. This is something that wouldn't have been needed for more basic single vision lenses as there are not varying fields of vision within the frame that need measuring.
It sounds from the review that this might be information we still have outstanding. We do send this request via email with several reminder emails. We'll hope to hear back from you so we can sort this out for you.
We certainly do make varifocal/progressive lenses and take great care to ensure these are done with precision point accuracy. The method of measuring this certainly does work so we hope you'll be pleased with the results.
I made a mistake in signing up for a free class and then decided not to continue. They keep calling on my mobile using different telephone numbers and despite asking to be removed from their list, I get calls on a daily basis. I am planning to report them to UK authorities. Not sure why BT allow these companies to use 0203 numbers.

My glasses was delivered to a wrong address. The support team replaced it free of charge in a timely manner. I was very happy with the way the problem was handled.
Very poor communication from customer services. I had my delivery cancelled 3 times after confirmation by email but only found it's cancelled when I call them. Don't expect a call from them, otherwise, you may lose many working days sitting home waiting.

They don’t keep their promise to collect the bin within 5 days of booking that in my case caused significant problems. The bin is still sitting outside my old house despite being booked a week before.

HIPPO will aim to collect your bag within 5 working days, starting from the day after your request, we advise that this may be extended during peak times (e.g. bank holidays).
We plan our collections service to maximise the productivity of our operation, taking into account volumes and the availability of waste disposal sites. During these unprecedented times, we are doing our best to adjust our operation to meet the needs of our customers. Due to the high volumes of bookings we are receiving across the country, there are delays in some areas and we are working hard to complete collections as soon as possible. We are in most areas at least once a week, hence our aim to collect within 5 working days, though at the moment some areas are taking longer to clear than others.
