The service was as usual great, with a lot of care and appreciation for my bike. One irritating niggle though, with booking:

When I brought the bike in, I discovered that the booking I had made was for a drop-off slot, not the actual service. This makes it impossible to plan ahead, as you don't know when you book how long you might have to wait for the actual service.

Once again great and friendly service from Balfe's. They always keep me updated on what they think is required and care thoughtfully for my bike.

My only reservation this time is that when I booked the service, I was able to book only three days in advance, but it turned out my bike wouldn't be worked on that day. It would be helpful when booking a service to know which days there is definitely a slot.

I used to regularly give Balfe's East Dulwich 5-star reviews. But lately, although the mechanics are still brilliant, the shop floor service has been impersonal to the point of indifference. I used to enjoy going in and feeling like every customer was valued and every bike was seen as worthwhile. Unfortunately the customer service experience is not nearly so good now. This coupled with long wait times for repairs means that I'm likely to go elsewhere

very easy to find the trains I was interested in, quick to load, and cheaper than the alternative (Rail Europe).

I can't comment yet on the transfer service, but the website is first-rate - really easy to navigate, fills in flight details and gives very quick confirmation. It would be good if the e-ticket could be downloaded but that's a minor reservation.

I've been really pleased with my dealings with Wiggle - orders are dispatched quickly and I usually get things within a week. On the one occasion I had to return something my refund came equally quickly - and the service is always friendly too.

And after another, once again very satisfied with the service.
