A friend and I were helped so well by Lorrane, who was polite and knowledgeable. We both bought chairs after asking Lorrane non-stop questions. We're both confident that we've bought the right chairs, in the right size. Lots of lovely chairs to choose from.

The food at afternoon tea was beautiful, the pastry chef is a true artist. But the service was abysmal. We had problems finding where to go when we got out of the car in the car park! When we got to a shop we waited ages while the one assistant had time for us. She pointed the way but there was no one at the next desk! After ringing the bell the original assistant let us in. There was then a walk that was a bit too far for my disabled sister. She was pretty distressed by the time we got within sight of a house. The one and only sign post was misplaced and didn't point to the house. Eventually a couple of men with staff lanyards asked us if we were OK and said we should go into the house. Again one woman was at a desk and too busy to deal with us! We asked a passing young woman who showed us where to go. The room was lovely and we sat at open French doors. Eventually a waiter appeared and said, "Hello guys" and called us "guys" throughout tea. I had expected someone more polite! We were served with the very nice savoury course, but waited and waited to be offered cake. Eventually we called a waitress and she said they were waiting for us to finish eating. We had finished eating a long time before, we just didn't want any more. They should have asked us if we were finished - surely it was obvious! So eventually we got the cakes, which were beautiful, but had to ask for more tea and coffee. Not very impressive.

Parcel was delivered on time, I was sent a text with an hour delivery time. The driver brought the parcel to my front door and was polite and friendly. He was very polite to an elderly neighbour who needed to get in the lift. Very impressed.

I ordered a small kitchen cupboard which arrived very quickly and was so well packed. I was sent a text telling me when to expect delivery. I am so pleased with the cupboard, beautifully made, very sturdy and looks so nice.

I'd just moved in to a new flat and I had a one-off deep clean of my bathroom, which was pretty grubby. The cleaner also helped me to clean under the kitchen sink, so that I could stack stuff there. The cleaner was so thorough and so helpful. A very good experience.

I've bought 2 chest of drawers from Frances Hunt and I recommend them whole heartedly. The furniture is very good quality and the delivery service is excellent. They're a bit slow in getting stuff in and getting it to customers, but it's worth the wait because I trust them.

I bought some Travel Tidy Design Go Bag Packers last year and used them for 2 holidays and they are so useful - eg I put underwear in one, then when I got to the hotel I unzipped it, opened it flat and put it straight in a drawer. I bought them again this time for a gift for my sister.
