Didn’t Honour Their Own Price
I bought an eSIM for my trip to Vietnam after seeing a 10GB deal for $1.99. It seemed cheap, but I assumed that was just due to the country.
I installed the eSIM before takeoff. When I landed, it simply didn’t work.
I was stuck in airport security for two hours and needed to message family to say I’d arrived. The airport Wi-Fi was barely usable, so I wanted to rely on the eSIM I paid for. I spent ages messing with settings which stressed me out.
When I finally contacted Strong eSIM, they told me the price was a “website glitch” and they wanted to fully refund it whilst not honouring the deal. Not my mistake. Their system, their price, their responsibility.
Instead I was left scrambling to find another provider. This completely soured the start of my trip.
Poor customer service and zero accountability. I won’t be using Strong eSIM again.
