Absolutely terrible when issues arise

Absolutely terrible when issues arise.

Today, I realised my domain expired which I have with CloudNS, I tried to login, to my suprise I couldn't. Contacted support, after a 20 minute wait I found out I couldn't login because the CloudNS mail forwarders stop working when your domain is near expiration. That's fine, okay, then I find out I have to wait over 2 hours for their "urgent" support to allow me to login.

The other issue I am facing is that because the mail forwarders are total garbage, I didn't receive half the emails from CloudNS for expirations, so I didn't see until the last second.

Forget using 2FA also, every login you have to sit through tedious captcha that barely works, and times out most of the time.

Still waiting, had over 300+ customers complain via our live chat services are down.

At no point was access delayed due to inactivity or lack of support. Your login issue was caused by account security protections, specifically IP verification, which was automatically triggered after a payment method was added to the account. These measures exist to prevent unauthorized access and protect customer data.

Our support team responded promptly via live chat and escalated your case to our administrators for manual identity verification, which was completed the same evening using SMS confirmation. Once ownership was verified, we immediately adjusted the account settings to restore access and removed the payment method to prevent further IP verification prompts, exactly as requested.

Regarding email delivery, ClouDNS does not block or suppress system notifications. However, mail forwarding depends on external email providers and spam filtering policies, which are outside of our control. We strongly recommend enabling multiple contact methods and monitoring expiration dates directly from the control panel to avoid last-minute issues.

As for CAPTCHA and 2FA - these are standard security mechanisms used across the industry and are only enforced to safeguard accounts from abuse or compromise.

We understand how stressful it can be when access is urgently needed, but we take security seriously and will never bypass verification without confirming account ownership. In this case, the issue was resolved as quickly as possible while keeping your account protected.
