I spent my money more than $3,000 and it's not worth it. Because of this I am scared to use dating site. Nobody you can trust and even the recent one that I connect with refuse to exchange personal information or to do video chat. I ask why but didn't give proper answer or reasonable. I definitely believe it's a SCAM. He might be one of the team leader of group behind this site.

Leider muss ich den anderen Bewertungen zustimmen, weil ich die gleichen Erfahrungen gemacht habe: man wird angelockt mit einer 19-Dollar-Abo, doch ab dem 2. Monat dann sind es fast 50 Dollar. Nach der Anmeldung wird man mit Video-Calls bombardiert von Leuten, mit denen man nicht reden möchte, aber es gibt keine Funktion das zu blockieren. Ein Video call kostet 12 Credits !!! Eine Nachricht zu öffnen kostet wieder viele Credits, darauf zu antworten kostet wieder viele Credits. Also wird die Kreditkarte aufgebraucht, alles mit System. Hinzu kommt: es hat viele Fake-Profile, offensichtlich Models die eine Foto-Session in 5-Sterne-Hotels hatten, doch die werden nie in einem Video-Call mit dir reden, da sie nie echt sind und alles nur Lockvögel sind, damit die Kunden neue Credits kaufen für weitere 50 Dollars natürlich. Die faulen Sprüche mit denen diese Profile schreiben sind alle identisch: von mehreren Profilen habe ich genau die identischen gleichen langen Texte erhalten, offenbar copy-paste gemacht.
Der Versuch mit dem Support-Formular den Kundendienst zu erreichen: das ist auch nicht möglich, das Formular hängt in der Website, kann nicht gesendet werden. Per E-Mail auf eine Antwort vom Support zu hoffen scheint auch eine Illusion.
Es ist wirklich herzzerreissend, mit was für Mitteln hier ehrliche Kunden zum Geld-ausgeben geführt werden..... und das gleiche auf all deren Partner-Websiten auch, überall die selbe Methoden.

IT'S A SCAM!!! I just got back from China and those nice looking men on the Website do not exist. None of them will actually meet you even if you in a city where they live and you flew for 17 hrs. I flew to Beijing because I was texting with two people there none of them want to meet. Coincidentally one just left on a business trip and tbe second couldn't meet up ...of course. I would believe this is organized scam. Way too many people at once are fake. If you catch one..it happens but 5....no way.
Same for Shanghai in Shanghai I was speaking with one person for more than seven months I spent a significant amount of money just to find out that they are just fake profiles. I believe they're just being paid to text with you to make you feel wanted , but it's just the company way of making money on you. I remained friends with one person but he wax upfront honest that we will never meet. He's obviously not the person on the profile but at least he is not asking to talk abo6sex. So if you like to spend money speaking with someone who you will never meet go for it. It's like paid talk service. Bumble WORKS!! even in China and Japan you are better off getting a real person. Only those who can video chat with you are real.

I used this site and spent more than 2000 $. The ladies don't accept to communicate outside the platform and I even wanted to travel but the person suddenly had to ho a surgery and 2 weeks later was back. It's a scam be aware you don't know with whom you're chatting

its really too much money for the little ability you have to converse with people. Every message takes coins? or whatever they use. Its ridiculous the amount of money it take to just open one picture if they send you a pic, or to even just keep replying. You would think that after you paid the monthly subscription you would be able to at least chat for a month unlimited. But no. That just lets me know theres lots of accounts there that are probably not even real people. Just people getting paid to chat with you. I've been on zenmate for less than 3 hours and have already spent about 60 dollars. Definitely not worth it at all.

ZenDate was fun at first because there were several interesting men to chat with. However, it is also a scam because as opposed to being simply subscription based, there are extra fees charged to obtain credits in order to chat. In addition to that, no one will contact you outside of the chat which will cause you to spend more money to keep chatting with that person or persons. After a few days of chatting and after my card had been charged outside of the standard subscription fee, I cancelled my subscription and bid farewell to all in Chinese :).

Given all the negative reviews, I’m genuinely surprised there hasn’t been a formal investigation into Zendate’s deceptive and unethical practices. Basic conversations quickly become expensive. By the second or third reply, your own message is blurred out as if it was never sent — forcing you to pay just to unlock and actually send it.

Initially, 150 credits cost $19.99 per month, but if you want 600 credits, you have to pay $149.99. These credits disappear quickly, especially since sending a single email can use up a large chunk of them. The next tier jumps to a shocking $299.99 for 1500 credits per month.

To make matters worse, it feels like more than half the profiles are fake or operated by people paid to bait users into spending more. Even sending an email costs a significant amount, often draining your credits after just a few messages.

I hope this site is eventually shut down and that the people behind it find real jobs that actually benefit others, instead of running scams designed to empty people’s wallets.

Unglaublich! ich habe 19.90 für einen Monat Mitglied bezahlt und dachte ich könnte jetzt los chatten...haha der erste chat mit jemandem aus China....der hatte eine Uebersetzungsmaschine....lol ich merkte dass der gar nicht wirlich auf den chat eingeht...vielleicht eine KI Person, who knows...jedenfalls nach zwei Stunden sollte ich schon nachzahlen!!! kaum lädt man 2-3 Fotos oder schreibt, muss man nachzahlen - das finde ich als Abzocke, genau so wie die angeblichen vielen Damen mit Vermögen oder die blutjungen Damen die sicher nicht die angeblichen >18 oder > 40 sind. I joined a dating site called Astrolove and soon deleted my profile. Since then I’ve been getting emails from this site, Zen Dating, that I never signed up for. It looks exactly the same as Astrolove, in fact they even used my same profile picture. I’m thinking they must change their name once they get exposed. It advertised a reasonable membership fee and seemed like a good platform to meet people. You can sign up for free, but the free version is extremely limited, so they push you toward purchasing a membership. I opted for a €39 monthly membership to try it out.

What they don’t tell you is that the membership fee is just the beginning. Once you start engaging—opening photos, messaging people, interacting in any way—you get charged per interaction on top of your monthly fee. In just two hours of normal use, I was charged nearly €300!

On top of that, they automatically enroll you in an ongoing credit system without making it clear. By default, your account is set to auto-purchase credits, which are then deducted as you use the platform. If you don’t manually go into your settings and adjust or disable this, you’ll continue getting charged. Even after I canceled my membership (which still runs for a month), I racked up even more fees because of this sneaky setup.

There was no clear warning about these extra costs, and by the time I realized what was happening, I had already been charged hundreds of euros. This is a scammy, deceptive business model that preys on unsuspecting users.

I strongly advise staying away from this platform unless you’re prepared to spend a fortune just to have basic conversations.

I wanted to test this site out and I put a random profile picture of flowers. And I was right away swarmed with messages saying how beautiful I was? Also, I started to chat with this Chinese guy named “Jaxon”. I found out he is actually a Chinese fashion model. So either his pictures are stolen or he is employed to chat. I would chat with him one day then the next he will say things like “I don’t know you”. Everything just seemed so off.

I am very disappointed, this application that is very well ergonomically seems very attractive, however there are a lot of accounts from people who do not seem sincere. There are far too many people photographed too professionally, which seem a bit suspicious like models. These same people seem to want to make you spend as much as possible by communicating only with the most expensive system, namely internal email.
The conversations are strangely impersonal. The payment system of the application is overpriced and it is impossible to get out of its environment, however you want to communicate through another free network once you have established a good understanding with your chat partner. Many profiles end up with different names but are the same people.
Everything is done so that you become addicted and dependent and spend the most, it’s pure scam. The only real people are not those with whom you want to chat. As far as fake model accounts go, I’m pretty sure it’s AI conversations
