Xpert Trans failed to provide the service I paid for by sending only one mover who refused to deliver my belongings to the basement as specified in the contract.

Before booking, I clearly stated that the shipment had to be unloaded into the basement by two movers, and Xpert Trans accepted those terms. However, when the truck arrived, only one mover showed up. He told me basement delivery was not part of his contract and wanted to unload all of my belongings on the street and leave.

I immediately contacted Xpert Trans, expecting them to resolve the issue. Instead, they told me I would have to pay the carrier extra for unloading and ignored the fact that the agreed-upon basement delivery was not being provided. They also became difficult to reach when the problem occurred.

This left me scrambling on moving day to find a solution for a problem that should never have happened. If you are considering using Xpert Trans, make sure every detail is confirmed directly with the carrier, not just the broker. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this comp

Do not use Xpert Trans for high-value or oversized items. Their equipment pool (ramp trucks without lift-gates) is unsuitable for pianos, furniture, or other heavy goods.

Demand lift-gate service and written confirmation. If you must use this carrier, ensure the contract specifies a lift-gate truck and that assistance is guaranteed at both ends.

Document everything. Save all text messages, call logs, and payment receipts. In this case, the text message from the driver stating "I don't want your piano" was crucial evidence.

Consider legal action. The emotional distress inflicted on a family with young children, combined with the driver's refusal to deliver without coerced payment, may warrant a formal complaint or small claims court.
