I would give Yoobee a negative stars.
This place needs to be closed.

This course has been an absolute disaster. You pay thousands of dollars expecting an education, but instead you are left to teach yourself everything. The "teaching" consists of being sent to thirdparty websites and videos, including videos with AIgenerated narrators, rather than being taught by actual lecturers.
The assignments are full of errors, spelling mistakes, outdated information, and instructions that are simply wrong. Some tasks cannot even be completed because they are based on old systems or processes that are no longer used. When you point out these issues or ask questions, you can wait one to two weeks for a response, only to be told it has been "updated" a week before the assignment is due.

The tutors are not equipped to teach these subjects or teach in general. Communication is a major issue with tutors English is barely intelligible and when you ask technical or even simple questions, you are often told to "Google it." Why am I paying thousands of dollars for a course just to be told to search Google?
The lectures are mostly about warning students not to use AI, while the course itself relies on thirdparty platforms that have AI tools built into them (not to mention the tutors use AI in almost all their writings and an AI narrated video to teach you?!!?) Instead of a lecture you get 1 hour of the tutors begging you not drop out of class as 1 previous student got a job.. it's like they are aware how much of a scam they are running.
On top of tuition fees, you are expected to pay extra for thirdparty subscriptions just to complete assessments and learn the content. You end up deciphering broken assignments, finding your own resources, and teaching yourself the entire course with very little support.

I genuinely cannot understand how this level of education is allowed to put students in debt let alone receive taxpayer gov funding. Students deserve better.

An update didn't get the support I needed, and the IT help desk is very appalling miscommunication I thought Yoobee College is better than Open Polytech I rate this -1

Unfortunately, the online content is not straight forward and not user experience I have many years of ux and web design experience. I am gifted in content creation and Ux designer I been reading the reviews of others I thought Yoobee is a lot better than Open Polytech and other providers after going online today I felt disappointed of the layout I am used to interactive and visual and audio material and face to face as in teams or on site and feedback from the tutor I get dizzy when reading content

It was a really great certificate course in IT! You learn so much of new technology and figuring out how to solve problems. I did it as a part time student and found the modules I could do at a good pace. Plenty of practical and theory mix to make all the learning make sense!

The online learning platform is a bit janky and can be frustrating to navigate hence the 4 stars. However, the course material has been very interesting so far. I enjoy a fast-paced learning environment and Yoobee definitely delivers that.

I'm currently studying the CCM (Certificate in Creative Media) and I'm finding the course to be easy to understand and follow. The activities help you learn what's needed for the assessment (which for me is currently Film; just completed Animation). The tutors are fast at responding to emails (i.e. 1 to 2 hours) and freindly. I would recommend the CCM to people who are new to digital art and design and software stuff, or people who don't know what they want to pursue in the future.

Loving the content in my course and the amount I’m learning at a fast speed. Have been given assessments that push my limits and in the process of completing these, I’m learning invaluable skills and finding solutions I didn’t know existed.

The learning is great, practise labs. CompTia practice assessments are great.. little bit more clarity with Tasks would be helpful.. But everything is great

Studied online and found the learning platform very easy to navigate and get to where I wanted to be. Assessments and tests were good and thorough - especially if you were aiming for top marks!
My tutor was easy to make contact with via email, even late at night, and very friendly and supportive.
My only complaint would be that it was basically just pages and pages.. and pages of stuff to read, with the odd discussion thrown in. I'd have preferred some interactive challenges or tasks to complete, just comparing to other online platforms I have used with other providers. Would absolutely recommend though, and I was able to make a complete career change in a related path barely half way through my course!

Yoobee has given me the confidence in myself after a workplace injury, plus allowing my skills and knowledge to shine through in all areas of what I am studying. The support from all the tutors I have had over the time I have been with Yoobee has been amazing, and I am making the jump into IT. I would not of had that confidence to jump industries if it wasn't for Yoobee!!

Turned me and my ten grands worth of business away.

Really stupid for them to be turning people away.

This provider cross credited us then when we were almost finished the modules we were told about they said oh you have more to complete at $956 a module.

They also plagiarized this github repo for the assessments. Yes you heard me right the assessments were stolen from other creators and are available online either as cheaper courses or in github repos. One is from developer profjpbaugh. His repo will be under his name. /complete-cpp-developer-course.

They have tried to help which is good. Nothing against the individual people there because they do try hard to accommodate..

I will update this review if things start to change or issues are addressed.

I would never recommend this institution. I enrolled for the Diploma of Graphic & Web Design for 1 year and I thought I’d leave this course prepared for the beginning of a new career path. After this whole year studying at Yoobee, I don’t feel prepared at all and I feel that most of my knowledge in Graphic & Web Design came from other sources and way cheaper and higher quality courses that I’ve done online from people that put actual creative and engaging content out there. This course from Yoobee have a massive lack of content, it is a course where you are supposed to learn about visual communication but there are barely any examples of good or bad design to understand and learn from. Feedback from activities and assignments are very generalised (e.g. “very good, well done") and written in a couple of lines, which I felt I didn’t learn about my own work and wouldn’t know how to improve from there, because there was hardly something constructive about them. Support from Yoobee’s staff was close to none, some of our assignments took 3 months to be graded, closer to the due date of our next one and emails have been disregarded. You don’t get to engage in a supportive and creative community as I thought I would, because there’s simply no channel for that, they set up a Teams on microsoft but they make no effort for the students to communicate with each other and they don’t facilitate that. Overall, I had a really bad and disappointing experience with Yoobee and I do not think it is worth your money. There are so many other good courses online and I’m doing a few of them, so I can feel competent in my new career choice. Yes, I’m a Designer and Flux Academy are way wayyyyy better than paying 8k to Yoobee….
