My experience with Yocket Premium was extremely disappointing. I trusted their guidance for an important visa-related step, and it turned out to be a costly mistake. Due to incorrect and incomplete instructions, I lost my visa appointment and had to forfeit more than 50,000 in visa fees and other premium membership charges, along with additional stress and delays, which led to significant mental stress.

What stood out was not just the mistake, but how it was handled afterward. When I raised the issue, the responses felt defensive and repetitive, with no willingness to accept responsibility or acknowledge that the advice given was flawed.

A service that charges a premium should offer clarity, accuracy, and accountability — especially for something as sensitive as a visa process. Unfortunately, this experience showed the opposite. I would advise others to think carefully before relying on Yocket Premium for critical decisions.

Emailing them at their support mail address is the most stupid thing and a time waste one can do. Did that and wasted my crucial time. So posting here, so that no one else has to go through what I went through :)

I paid for Yocket Premium expecting professional, expert guidance for my U.S. visa process. What I received instead was incorrect advice that directly caused me to lose ₹16,000 in visa fees and my visa appointment slot.

My assigned counselor, Meenu Dhama, explicitly told me that I could book my visa slot before completing the DS-160 and that I only needed to note the DS-160 application ID and “security questions.” Based on this guidance, I did not initiate or save the DS-160 form.

Later, when I attempted to retrieve the DS-160, the system required the first five letters of my surname and my birth year — details that are generated only after starting and saving the form. Since I had never been instructed to do this, my application became unretrievable and I lost my visa fee.

I have recorded video evidence where the counselor incorrectly states that surname and birth year are part of “security questions,” which is factually wrong. These are mandatory identification fields, not user-chosen security prompts.

When I raised this issue with Yocket support, Sunil Kadam and Hitesh Panchal repeatedly deflected responsibility, went in circles, and attempted to reframe the mistake as “confusion between portals,” despite the recorded evidence clearly showing incorrect guidance.

Yocket’s internal response focused on defending itself instead of acknowledging a clear advisory failure. No meaningful accountability was taken.

If you are trusting Yocket with something as critical and expensive as a visa process, be aware: one wrong sentence from their “experts” can cost you thousands, and they will not take responsibility afterward.

I strongly advise students to save their money and consult official sources or qualified immigration professionals instead of relying on Yocket Premium.

YOCKET.............. I don't know where to begin, but my counsellor, ma'am, helped me from preparing my resume to booking my flight tickets. I don’t know about the entire Yocket platform, but by God's grace, I found the best counsellor. Yes, I can confidently say I got the best counsellor because she was available in the morning, afternoon, evening, and even at midnight. She tries her best when it comes to the application process and everything involved. Personally, the most mesmerising thing was that my counsellor supported me even during the holidays. However, it wasn't the same with other teams, like the Yocket visa team. She not only assisted me with the application work but also continually offered positive thoughts throughout the entire journey. Currently, I am in Germany thanks to her guidance, support, and positivity, even though my visa was delayed. I am truly grateful to her. I give Yocket a 4 out of 5, mainly because of my counsellor and the finance team. I hope Yocket recognises her hard work and genuine efforts. By the way, my counsellor is Shree Dharani Guruswami, ma'am. To those reading my review, I want to say: currently, YOCKET IS THE BEST (except the visa team).

I had a great experience with Yocket, my counsellor Sudha and editor Akanksha were amazing and helped me a lot in my journey from selecting colleges to writing the perfect SOP. It was great when it comes to writing SOPs, but you also have to be of demanding nature to get the most out of this service. I got lucky because of my counselor Jemini ganatra and editor sukanya kar.

I would recommend Yocket solely for their editing services. The content writers are quite proficient; however, the other staff, particularly the counselors, seem to lack direction in their roles. My counselor has been of no assistance whatsoever; whenever I sought advice, he consistently provided negative feedback. Even during the college selection process, he was not helpful at all. I selected all the colleges myself and requested him to review them. He assured me he would check and took several days to provide feedback. He appears to have no knowledge about the colleges. I specifically asked him to find colleges on the East Coast of the USA, yet he persistently tried to persuade me to consider colleges on the West Coast or in Texas. I became so frustrated that I ended up selecting and applying to all the colleges on my own. Furthermore, he was not at all supportive in conducting mock interviews prior to my visa interview. He always cited personal reasons for his inability to conduct the interviews, which resulted in delays. Therefore, I strongly advise against falling into the Yocket trap; the counselors are utterly ineffective. Only the content writers are commendable.

The fact that Yocket has many team members assisting you and that they cover almost everything required from the college applications to settling in at the university to provide financial support, really places them far above most other consultancies. Although there is nothing like having someone present next to you assisting, which is definitely favored. I think they are the best in the country among online consultants. Yocket is a false promises. Total scam. They turn off there phones and don't even bother to reply any of your queries or messages. Once you have paid the money you are gone to dump for them. Please don't waste any money or time on them . It's living on mere pennies of hard earned money by people. You will become a joke to them
