The curriculum is thoughtfully designed—from solid foundations to hands-on prototyping and MVP development. I built 4 individual prototypes and contributed to 2 team-based MVPs, each pushing me to grow in design, development, and collaboration.

I was recommended to apply to XR Bootcamp scholarship when I was seeking to transition to VR/AR/XR direction at AWE XR event. Luckily I got selected and received a full scholarship and joined this intense 4-5 month XR journey full of up-to- date learning materials and a passionate group of fellow community members!

XR bootcamp provided us not only the solid foundational knowledge you will need for XR app development but also the opportunity to make prototypes (individual and group) which can help you get your portfolio ready! They even got us all the free licences of the tools that we need, I didn’t even need a penny for anything, what I need is to dedicate my time on this career path that I already have in mind!

I am so grateful to have this opportunity at this time when XR is rising and more and more portable devices are submerging! I can’t recommend XR Bootcamp more to everyone who is looking for an opportunity to take the XR path.

XRBootcamp is the only bootcamp I have joint so far. There are heavy workload but with tremendous help from the communities to help you. They offer foundation courses as well as prototyping phases to build your own XR experience, both individually and in-team. For a person with non-tech background like me, the team experience is very important to learn about industry collaboration.

I have done many courses during my career but by far this course was the best and most challenging course I have done and I highly recommend it. Although I have been prototyping in XR, I learned a huge amount of practical advice and work arounds, worked with some of the best instructors in the industry and made friends with talented peers from across the world. This course is not particularly easy, but it is well worth the time and effort and would leave the course a more experienced and connected individual. I learnt the latest tech stacks (almost at bleeding edge) and creatied some of my best prototypes during it. If you get the opportunity to do this course, don't miss it.

The prototyping session was really the highlight of my experience with the bootcamp. I was introduced to a lot of skills and technologies, and I highly recommend this program to anyone thinking of taking it. The best Bootcamp for learning XR Development!

My experience with XR Bootcamp has been truly transformative — both technically and personally.

Throughout the program, I gained hands-on experience in XR development, particularly using Unity to build immersive VR games and applications. I completed 4 XR prototype projects, where I explored full-body tracking, voice interaction, and AI-integrated gameplay systems. Several of my games included AI features that provided dynamic responses and enhanced interactivity.

In addition to my individual projects, I also contributed to two team MVP (Minimum Viable Product) projects, collaborating closely with others in areas such as game mechanics, technical art, VR/MR gameplay design, level design, and even project planning. These experiences gave me the opportunity to strengthen both my technical and creative skills across the entire XR pipeline.

What made the journey even more valuable was the incredible community. I had the chance to expand my professional network globally, connecting with inspiring developers, designers, artists, and researchers from all around the world.

Now, I’m proud to be participating in the upcoming XR Hack as a competitor — another step toward my dream of working in Germany’s XR and game development industry.

Most importantly, the mentorship at XR Bootcamp has been exceptional. The mentors are deeply knowledgeable, highly supportive, and truly care about our progress. This bootcamp is nothing like the others I’ve joined before — it’s professional, international, and yet remarkably personal and human-centered.

XR Bootcamp is not just a training program — it’s a visionary community that prepares you for real opportunities in the XR world, and I’m incredibly thankful to be a part of it.

The Bootcamp was both enlightening and enriching. The foundation phase was full of engaging assignments and learning. The prototyping and MVP phases were amazing too. Building core engines in just couple of days and working with teams to develope awesome MVPs was superb. I really recommend this Bootcamp to XR enthusiasts and aspiring professionals.

The prototyping phase was hard but also very satisfactory to finish, we worked in 6 projects in 2 months, 4 personal works and 2 groupal, the time was something essential, but also was very fun to have this extra pressure, because it gave as result much experience in few time.
I learned a lot and also put in practice lots of new things, also I have the chance to help some of my partners and teach a couple things that will be useful to them (git, gitflow and some unity tricks that could make easier the development to them)

As with a few other reviewers in Feb 2025 I was tricked into subscribing via the National Rail website on my mobile phone.

Your marketing practice clearly shows what kind of a deceptive practices your company utilises to get subscribers. It is shameful!

Luckily, I noticed that something strange had happened when purchasing my rail tickets and quickly cancelled my card.

Even if I had any interest in your company, I would never engage with you after this blatant deception.

On the National Rail app, there is a “Continue” button at the bottom of the screen. After selecting my train tickets, I naturally assumed this button would take me to the payment page for my tickets, as any reasonable person would. Instead, I was tricked into subscribing to your service and charged without my knowledge.

This is completely unethical, a deliberate scam, and a total waste of my time. I will be leaving a review to ensure others are warned about your deceptive and dishonest practices.

Thanks for canceling the subscription I never signed up for in the first place.

I found my experience at XR Bootcamp both very helpful and enjoyable! It was a long journey of learning the fundamentals, experimenting with my ideas and new skills, and working with a team on larger projects. I would recommend it to anyone interested in the XR field.

I have to say XR Bootcamp is a group of awesome people, who truly love their job and deliver what they promise. I learnt a lot in the XR Field and always got a useful feedback from every mentor.

I went through the Bootcamp's Foundation and Prototyping course, where I strengthened my skillset and gained a lot of motivation and thanks to them I worked on my idea projects with peers that share my enthusiasm and made my portfolio full of exciting XR projects.

I had more than a year experience when was joining but, turns out within the 16 weeks of bootcamp, i learned a lot more to the extent ,i asked myself what was i doing for the past year!?, its like there was a ton of fundamentals that i was missing. the mentors are very passionate in helping, calm and supportive. i loved on the culture of the community on helping each others
