Made an order for some dumbbells and they arrived writhin a couple of days. Unfortunately there was a plate missing but I just emailed the sales team and got an instant response saying that a replacement had been sent out. Matej Was really helpful and ensured that the issue was resolved quickly for me. Mistakes can happen but when felt with like this I have no issues at all with the service.

Great customer service on my second order with York. Of 2 parts to my order, DPD managed to deliver one half wrecked and lose the other half completely. Spoke to York and was sent a complete replacement with no quibbles. Zero stars for DPD, but that shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone.

Fantastic customer service! I bought some dumbbells for my husband and one of the collars wouldn’t spin down. I emailed York at 8pm, by 6.30am the next morning they had replied to say they were sending a replacement straight out.
Quick, efficient and fantastic service. Will definitely use again next time we need any fitness gear.

Customer Service was excellent when we were having issues with the independent delivery courier not delivering our parcel as expected. Every email was addressed promptly with an accompanying solution and their added apologies for inconvenience caused.
After much assistance on York's part to get this parcel (a Christmas gift) delivered without any further delay we eventually had to opt for a refund which was sent to us immediately.
It was unfortunate that we did not receive our goods directly from York, but we were so impressed with the service we received that we managed to locate another York item elsewhere and which we have now received.

I ordered from York Fitness - the parcel was split by the courier into several components and I wasn't in receipt of one of those - they kindly offered to send me a replacement - the handling of the issue was very kind and a bit unexpected these days.

What a great experience! Unfortunately my weights were damaged when the deliver company dropped them outside. One quick email to York Fitness and they are sending replacements and refunding postage fees. I had a reply within 30 minutes along with a sincere apology. Honestly can not fault the customer service. Special thanks to Matej for resolving this so quickly, there is still hope!

Received a York bench as a birthday present. Unfortunately it was too small for me. Matej at York listened to me and very kindly agreed that I could return it. Really great service. I’ve used York products for years and would really recommend them.

I ordered from York Fitness on 1 December because the website said delivery was 3–5 days. After I’d paid, I was told about extra picking/handling delays that weren’t mentioned anywhere, and then given a delivery date of 10 December, which is well outside the timeframe they advertise.
When I queried this politely, I was told my message was “hostile,” which felt unfair and quite unprofessional. No apology for that, either.
In the end they cancelled my order and refunded me because they couldn’t meet the delivery time they originally promised.
Refund was fine, but the whole experience left me feeling that the delivery info isn’t accurate and the customer service could be a lot better.

I needed an exercise bike after a diagnosis of need of a knee replacement. I saw that the hospital physio dept used York machines so I went for the most affordable. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble but after about three months virtually daily use it developed an ominous grating sound. On making contact with the Daventry depot to try to find what might be going wrong I was immediately offered a replacement which arrived within four days. I was asked to repack the failing bike in the box its replacement arrived in, which was no problem and within six days it on a day and time that suited me it was collected without fuss. What made it special is that I am in my mid 80s and the team took special note of that in every way. All in all a model of good customer relations. Thanks to Chris and the team at Daventry.

I recently ordered the “York Barbell Weight Lifting Starter Set” for a very good price on sale. I received all but one part of the order which DPD were supposed to bring separately and in typical DPD style, they lost the package.

I emailed York Fitness and immediately received a response where they chased up the order with DPD and after they couldn’t resolve it with them, York Fitness sent me out a replacement product, with urgent delivery to boot.

I’m very happy with how my issue was dealt with and especially grateful for the help provided to me by Matej Kuhajdik from Customer Support.

Having had a exercise bike from York before and being more than satisfied, I recommended them to my Sister-in Law. On receiving her bike (although another model from mine), I had a problem assembling it. On contacting York they immediately sent a replacement without question, which was perfect and also arranged the prompt collection of the first bike. Excellent customer service.

I ordered a barbell and dumbbell set and it came super fast. Two of the spin lock collars wouldn't screw on and customer services couldn't have been more helpful and they seemed very keen to not only get me replacements asap but also to get to the bottom of the issue so they could prevent future issues. This level of customer care tells me they care about the products they are selling. Have used the barbell and weights for two body pump sessions and all good!

I've always known York Fitness for making great products but I've not had to engage with their customer support until now.

There was an issue with the grip coating on one of my items, very minor I almost felt bad asking about it. I was just looking for advice on how to fix it. Customer support was so great, apologized for the mistake and instead of walking me through how to fix it just sent me a new one.

Customer service really feels like it's dying a horrible death these days. Most companies as soon as they get your cash offer very little if any support. When you get a company that stands behind their product, and wants to make sure you're happy with your purchase that is rare indeed.

I don’t normally do reviews, but I had a delivery of weights and the parcel was completely ripped open and things were missing, called customer services and within 10 minutes a replacement set was being shipped to me brilliant customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The equipment tends to be okay but be warned, they do not like honoring the warranties. Today I needed a simple ankle strap replacing from a gym that cost £700 and they have refused to honor the warranty even though the product is registered and they have been provided with photographs of the serial number. My advice is you can use them to buy cheap stuff but don't risk buying anything expensive because they are an absolute nightmare when it comes to replacing parts, even if the product is under warranty. I know other people who have had similar problems but on a much bigger scale. Best to shop elsewhere

Recently ordered the 20kg Chrome Dumbells and sadly upon delivery the box was badly damaged and had no collars to stop the weights from falling off. Contacted York fitness via email and Matej replied very quickly from customer service and sent the missing collars out and within 2 days I got them.So far very pleased with the weights.
