Best Water Softener Service
I do not write many reviews. I have to take the time to comment on the services of this company. My water softener system was not working. I called several companies. One company came out. Checked the system and said I need to replace everything and gave an extremely high price. Other companies gave similar or higher prices. Alonzo from Extreme showed and started his inspection. I went inside the house to check on my dogs. Looked outside and he was in his van about to leave. I ran outside to check what was going on. He said "I fixed it" It was the circuit breaker outside. Previous home owner had an internal GFI outlet - outside. Because I had minor odor when the softener was working, I asked Alonzo did I need to replace the system. He asked if I was having issues. Mentioned the slight water odor. He said I could use an upgrade and the odor would be gone. He quoted me a price that was substantially less then ALL the other companies. I asked when can he do the job. He said he can go get the equipment and will be back within an hour. He was not trying to sell me a system. I asked him for prices on a new system. He was literally leaving after figuring out the issue. How is it no other company figured it was the GFI outlet that tripped and was trying to sell a new system? Long story short. He replaced the system same day for substantially less. Not only did he replace the system, he also fixed the internal GFI and place an external GFI on the outdoor wall. I learned so much about water system from the hour plus of conversation. He also has a service where you do not have to pay monthly service fees to all these water companies. You purchase what you need (salt, filter, etc) from his company, he delivers and install and check your system as part of the service. This way you are not locked into paying $75 or so monthly fee. I honestly have not tried this service yet, but it makes perfect sense to me. Do not call any other water company. This guy is honest and is not looking to rip you off. I highly, highly recommend this company.
