Very friendly staff. They didn’t pressure me to buy the scope they wanted to sell, unlike some other gun shops in Melbourne.

Ordered Vector Optics scope on Wednesday, intransit by Thursday delived to Queensland Tuesday using their poverty post option. Got exactly what I ordered plus a bonus gift in a time that would be expected using standard postage. Came well packed and well protected in bubble wrap. With the AfterPay option I'll be buying from Xhunter again.

Exceeded My Expectations – Highly Recommended!
This was my first time shopping at Xhunter. Honestly, I was hesitant at first because I had seen quite a few negative reviews. Eventually, I decided to order a mount for my scope — a model I couldn’t find anywhere else, and Xhunter was the only store that had it in stock and could ship to my place in QLD with very reasonable postage.
To my surprise, the whole transaction was excellent! I received SMS updates at every stage, the packaging was very secure, and the delivery only took a few days from placing the order to receiving it.
I don’t understand why there are so many malicious negative reviews. After reading through them carefully, it seems most are from people who accidentally bought a preorder item, didn’t realise it, and then blamed the store unfairly.
As for me, I’ll definitely shop here again — and I’ll be recommending Xhunter to my friends as well!

Dont listen to the peanuts
I have a feeling the majority of negative reviews here were written by peanuts who can't read. I have placed several orders through these guys and will be placing another one shortly.
I have always found them easy to deal with, when items are in stock (for all the peanuts our there; in stock meaning the store physically has the item, not, "in stock with supplier") the delivery times have been excellent.
I am interstate and will go with XHunter over my local store as their range is limited and XH is usually a little cheaper. Never had a problem with XHunter, if you can read, and understand the basics of logistics I would recommend.

Hi Jack,
Thank you so much for your incredible review — it truly means a lot to us.
For a long time, we’ve quietly endured unfair comments and even online bullying from a small group of people. We’ve always focused on improving what we do: clearly listing stock status, providing accurate information, and keeping customers updated through timely SMS notifications. But it’s been disheartening at times when our efforts go unnoticed or misunderstood.
Your words gave us a moment of comfort and encouragement — because finally, someone spoke up with honesty and fairness. You saw things as they are, and you gave us the benefit of the doubt. Thank you for calling out the truth that many others may not realize.
We’re so grateful for your support and loyalty over the years, and we truly hope more customers like you will continue to share their genuine experiences. It gives us the motivation to keep doing better every day.
Thank you again — we look forward to serving you on your next order.
Warm regards,

I was wrong. They are ok to deal with.
After initial confusion and fear of being conned going by the negative reviews here I have changed my rating. I give them credit for keeping in touch until the issue was finally concluded.

Great store – never had a problem in 4 years!
Not sure why some people say their service is bad — I’ve placed 12 orders with XHunter over the past 4 years and never had any issues with prices or service.
Sometimes they split the order into two packages, but everything still arrives.
Back then, they only replied via email, and yeah, responses could be a bit slow.
But now they’ve improved a lot — having WhatsApp support makes things way easier and faster.
I’ll definitely keep shopping with XHunter!
