Bought an awning and awning carpet, not happy with the quality of the carpet, spoke to World of camping . They arranged for it to be collected and gave a full refund.
Can not fault the service I received. Would definitely use this company again.

A HUGE thank you to Gemma at World of Camping. She has sorted out a warranty claim for an item purchased from another company! I was so disillusioned and let down by Leisure Outlet, the awning I had bought was damaged and totally unusable. So, having phoned and emailed Leisure Outlet to no avail, I called World of Camping to see if I could just buy a replacement. They answered the phone for a start and Gemma took it upon herself to sort the whole thing for me as I had had such bad service from the other company - she just felt it wasn't right. She has restored my faith. Now THAT is how customer service is done. Thank you again.

I needed an item last minute and called the sales to explain I was local and could collect. Even though they are not meant to be processing collections due to Covid-19 they refunded the delivery on the order and I picked the item up with no issues. Excellent customer service throughout, gave super clear instructions throughout the whole process. Will order from them again, a shining example of how customer interactions should be.

I Ordered a chair off website and paid for it,three days later they email to say chair out of stock/not getting any more in.It should have said that the chair was not available on website so I did not ordered it in the first place.asked for a refund and it is going to take 3 to 5 days to get my money back.they should be able to give the money back same day.hope no one else orders from them.

We bought a Vango air hub from world of camping, upon first use during our holiday,one of the valves was found to be leaking. I contacted world of camping on Friday dinner time to discuss the problem. They immediately agreed to replace like for like. The new tent arrived Monday morning, this may not seem exceptional, but as they are based in Redruth, Cornwall and the tent was delivered to a campsite in the north of Scotland I thought that deserves credit. The faulty tent was not thier fault, the way the handled the problem was superb. Brilliant customer service.

Bought a tent from World of Camping made by Vango that leaks round the edges every time it rains. Looks like the tent was made faulty.

Have sent the tent back to World of Camping and Vango twice now each time asking them to speak to me before sending it back but each time they just send it back saying there is nothing wrong with it.

Paying £460 for a tent you can not use then getting constantly fobbed off is wrong. Avoid Vango if you want a tent that does not leak.

World of Camping are polite on the phone but ultimately I have bought a tent off them I can not use.

- As you can see World of Camping replied 10.10.19 The tent was sent back to them within the Warranty but they returned it still leaking, As we don't use the tent camping often we had to wait till the next time it rained whilst using it to find out it still leaked, Returned it to Vango twice each time no phone call from them to discus the fault even tho I put a covering letter in asking for a call they just returned it to say it was OK. This has dragged on for years so yes the tent is well out of warranty now but wasn't when the problem started.

Very poor service. Ordered a tent and paid for next day delivery as I needed the tent urgently. I never received an order confirmation email. I was unable to set up and account as the verification email never arrived. I eventually called them only to be told that the tent was not dispatched a day late (no use to me). They had no explanation and I had to cancel the order. The only positive was that the customer service person was very polite and helpful.

very poor service ,I ordered over the phone to make sure everything was in stock. Was told it was so ordered over the phone and paid in full by card. I was emailed to say it would be with me the next day :then I got an email to say it was not in stock and could be sent the following week .After registering with the site and not being able to get into my account. I was not impressed .I phoned and cancelled order . I expect it will take then a lot longer to refund my money than it took to take it . Wish I had read the reviews on here first . It would seem this is common .

My order was a 3-5 day delivery but I had an email off them telling me that it was out of stock and due in the next week and would I like to still proceed with the order. I said yes that is fine so as soon as my order was in they sent it next day delivery! By them doing this it still arrived within the 5 days as advertised. Great customer service doing that for me.

Terrible customer service.
Brought a heated duvet that was so heavy I couldn't sleep in my bed last night. Yeah I spent the night in my chair. The best part is they won't take it back for a refund, unhygeinic they say. I thought most people put duvet covers on they're duvets so how is hygiene effected, especially after only 55 minutes being under it. It's so heavy it bruised my toes, if I could include pictures here I would.
World of Camping, be very, very careful they're not as good as people think. I've spent £thousands with them over the years, never again, do yourselves a favour STEER CLEAR OF WORLD OF CAMPING

Recently bought two items of them due to good price. Delivery was swift and trouble free. However one item was defective. I contacted them and a replacement was sent the same day. Great customer service. I will certainly be using them again.

They bent over backwards to help me out and were super efficient in turning around an order I needed quickly. My experience of them was fantastic both on the phone and also through the chat feature on their web site.

It's nice to deal with real people who care when shopping on line.

Placed an order on Tuesday for a tent that they could't fulfil. Called today (three days later) to find out what was happening, told that there was a system error and they were going to call me this afternoon.

Waiting on a tent for a camping holiday and now have to find another supplier and pay for express delivery.

Found the awning annexe I was after at a decent price on this site, the website did say it was out of stock and allowed me to order. I received a call with an update on delivery very quickly, and the product turned up on the day I was quoted. Very smooth transaction.

I used World of Camping for the first time last week and were impressed by the range of products they had available on their site. As a caravaner, I was also impressed how well it caters for the caravaner. They products I ordered were competitive and delivered fast, with well packaged boxes. I would definitely use them again.
