The service at wax jacket cleaning was second to none, contacted them about a clean and rewax expecting to wait a while and the reply came quicker than I expected, price was sent and all information with it, sent my jacket and Paul kept in touch the entire time letting me know jacket was recieved and when it was sent back. The jacket looks brand new and wish I had done this a while ago, just waiting for a reason to go out in the rain now. A+ service from the whole team

Brilliant service from beginning to end, great communication and the end result is superb. My Allsaints waxed jacket was looking a bit worse for wear, no longer waterproof and faded and old looking, about to take it to the clothes bank when I came across the wax jacket cleaning company so I thought to give it a go. And very pleased I did, I am not exaggerating, when these guys sent it back it was like new again!

My 20+ year old much loved and worn Kakadu stockman coat was in need of some professional care and attention. I found the Wax Jacket Cleaning company on the web and, after an email discussion with their rep, Paul, decided that they were the people for the job. At a price well below £100 the coat was sent for a wash, reproofing and an addition of leather bindings to the cuffs.
A few weeks later, the coat was returned to me better than new. An excellent service and one with which I am very pleased.
My thanks to Paul, who throughout the process kept me updated on progress, and all his team. I can thoroughly recommend the company and we will be using them again for other coats we have that need some attention.

Excellent service, repairing an old and rather tired Barbour waxed cotton Fishing Bag. The stitching of the repair patches is beautiful and following a wash, wax and brush up its as near to invisible mending as makes no difference. The bag is rejuvenated. The folk in their workshop obviously take huge pride in their work. Their charges are modest too. .

Found these on a search and they were fantastic. Realistic price fast friendly communication, sent Belstaff jacket and was returned in days fresh clean and waxed. Great Thanks👍

Absolutely Brilliant
The whole process from first contact has been excellent. The communication at every stage was great and most importantly Paul turned my stockman coat that had hung in the barn for too long and was well mouse chewed into a new coat.
Sadly, this is not the type of Company that you need to use very often but many could learn a thing or two from their customer interaction.

Really impressed with the tailoring work done on my Barbour Bristol jacket! Was taken in, arms lengthened and also arms taken in and it now fits perfectly, couldn’t be happier with the work done!

Paul responded quickly and politely to a protracted email discussion while we agreed a repair scope that didn't fit the website standard offerings. He confirmed my jacket's arrival at the workshop with emailed photos, and a slight mishap aside the whole service was carried out to an acceptable and agreed timescale, with good communication throughout. The mishap (early return of my jacket before all the repairs had been completed) was spotted by Paul and communicated to me before I received the jacket. Proactive and honest attitude which prevented disappointment, as I could simply intercept it and return back to him. The "substantial" repairs, cuff binding and the rewaxing look good. The "darning" of the smaller repairs looks a little scrappy and may be overpriced but I can see how some pinholes simply aren't worth a patch (yet). Perhaps expectations could be better managed around this aspect.
On receipt of the jacket I had a complaint with the wax finish, (namely it appeared "dry" again within 3 weeks) which Paul offered to rectify free of charge including postage.
Advice on his site around how to post (and which companies not to use) was useful, and the payment process was fine. Overall I am happy with the service and I am very surprised to see the damning reviews posted here.

Fantastic service from Wax jacket cleaning company. My beloved waxed motorcycle jacket suffered a mishap with some Chinese cooking oil. They managed to clean the stains and re waxed the jacket beautifully. I’m now ready to get back riding in the great British summer …. Waterproof.

What a fantastic service ,We bought our Barbour jackets from the Barbour outlet at Castleford same old situation xl too big large too small ,So we googled if there was any company that could take in the jackets in for me and my wife and shorten them slightly in length as we are both vertical challenged .So we contacted The Wax Jacket Company and they were excellent .

The Jackets came back within 7 days and now they are fit for purpose .
We also purchased 2 lovely jacket carriers from them

I have just received my Belstaff Jacket and trousers back they look outstanding and now a perfect fit.

We dropped by The Wax Jacket Cleaning Companies workshop as we were holidaying in Devon.

We were so welcomed it is such a great workshop a hive of activity , really great to meet some of the workers and other customers there too.

So I needed some alterations doing to my late father's Belstaff Motorcycle jacket and trousers.

They did all the measurements whilst we had a cup of tea.

Such a pleasant experience and the Belstaff wax jacket and trousers and now clean and re waxed and they look fantastic.

JUST TO GET YOUR ATTENTION - DO NOT SEND ANYTHING TO THIS COMPANY. Unfortunately, didn't look at Trustpilot before engaging with the infamous conman, Karl Paul Ward. Contacted him after looking at the website whilst searching for someone to shorten the sleeves of my brand new £525 Belstaff jacket. Was told by "Paul" that he'd altered this particular make of Belstaff jacket many times and he had photos of how to do the process. He comes across as very plausible, helpful and sounds as if he is an expert with wax jackets. I sent photographs which he viewed and gave advice on and, at all times, seemed genuine. I duly sent the jacket for alteration. It was returned within a week with the work "completed" to the most disgusting standard I've ever seen. I took photographs which I forwarded to a Belstaff tailor who was absolutely lost for words stating it was quite simply the worst he had ever come across. The sleeves had simply been chopped in half, a piece taken out and put back together with a knife and fork - hence, it has been completely ruined and is unwearable. Please search Karl Paul Ward on the internet, disregard all other 5 star reviews and go straight to the honest 1 star ones!!

Great service, and did an excellent job altering my jacket.

Great job done by Paul and the team on my Barbour Beaufort which was old and perilously damaged, to the point of being thrown away. I approached Wax Jacket Cleaning Company, concerned that the cost would be uneconomic to restore it, however, not only was the cost reasonable for both repair, cleaning and reproofing, the expected turnaround time was remarkably short. Delighted to say that the Barbour is back, patched, sewn, hemmed, cleaned and reproofed and looking both great and ready again for the elements. An old friend has been resurrected. Thank you.

Wow,wow,wow. This is an incredible service from start to finish. Paul and the team have Exceeded my expectations with the service they have provided. From replying back to me and giving me advice on what I needed to then having the jacket cleaned, re waxed and returned back to me this couldn’t have been any easier. Fabulous service.

Much quicker turn-around than I imagined and a really helpful & friendly team, but the proof of the pudding is that my stinky & mouldy Belstaff Trialmaster has come back far more superior than it was when new.
